Even with temporary access the park is a wonderful family place. We took a small beach tent, large blanket, artist chair with Sun shade for my wife, a pop-up T-Ball batting cage for us both, and a bean bag lawn dart kit. Complete social distancing. Restrooms within walking distance at the beach. Oh yes, and tennis courts. Wow. This park is a wonderful family place.
Best part of lake wa catch the best view off the seafair blue angels here
Nice enough park, but ironically, if youre visiting the area, finding parking is rather difficult! Great way to enjoy the Seattle summer while its around :)
Well maintained, open spaces, plenty of room for social distancing. Atmosphere of politeness prevails
This is our regular local beach. We love it. Tons of families come and enjoy the lake.
Mt. Baker Park is located on the south side of Seattle near Lake Washington. It’s a neighborhood park with a walking path that goes through it. There is a pizza shop right next to it.
Nice...picnicable...water was warm...lots of people swimming...nice walk around park too.
Great dock for swimming great view of lake
I first enjoyed this park in the summer of 1969.
Could use better parking, but it is a very nice park. Daughter enjoyed playing there.
Awesome place for the kids and family!!! Nice little stroll towards lake Washington
As with all the parks in this area, it is stunning this time of year. So many colors... And the atmosphere makes lifes little bothers seem ridiculous. I can see why the real estate is so expensive here. Its probably well worth it.
Great neighborhood park. Today was a celebration and there was face painting, bouncy house and more. Awesome park for events especially with kids
Sooooo amazing but ... Bathrooms please!
Its one of the few parks around us that is pretty well shaded, which I like for the little ones on hot days. The equipment is in great condition and has a big sandbox and good number of swings. The only thing I wish is that the younger kid playground had more to do. My 1.5 year old often quickly gets bored on it and the big kid play structure is great, but most of it is still too advanced for him. Other then that, its a well maintained park with plenty to do.
N8ce and clean
The park was beautiful. We took a bike ride along the water. We were still parked along the water in the evening when a couple of kids broke two of our vehicles windows. Just leave before dark.
Lots of fun things to do here!
Amazing views and incredibly beautiful nature.A place where you can take walks, bike ride jog, picnic meditate, fly a kite, play, take the family or out of guests and enjoy the entire surroundings.
Childhood playground! In a nice area with plenty of dogs and other kids without being overcrowded. Nice trail going through the woods thats perfect for biking, goes right out to the Mt. Baker Beach/Lake Washington Blvd.
Stumbled on this tiny park for a community picnic day.. It was amazing .. We loved this place
Great park for little ones, pizza is right across the street and the lake is just down the hill.
Great park for all ages. Has a few tables, however make sure you arrive early in the morning if you would like one. Has a total of 6 swings (2 toddler, 2 chair swings, and 2 traditional). Other features include zip-line, sandbox area, large grass area for picnic or playing sports, and tennis court. There is a very small parking lot by the tennis courts, however across the street is plenty of free street parking.
Shady, in a sloping little valley that ends at Lake Washington... love it most in the hot summer but its always beautiful.
Nice park where you can relax and walk with your partners or friends.
Took the family. They have a zip line there also
Been taking my daughter since she was a babyto the Oracle at this park. She only shows herself but once a moon and was the wench that predicted my ever ascending climb to upper middle management at Jack In The Box and has brought my Jack Russell Terrier closer to finding her biological mother. Please, do yourself a favor and go. To. This. Park.
A great spot for running a dog on leash or playing with the kids. Moderate auto traffic is usually present on the surrounding streets.
Great park for kids. Playground up above and beach play down below. Upper bathrooms could use an upgrade though. Use Mioposto and grab a latte to go instead.
A lovely gem of a spot tucked away in Seattle. A beautiful area for walking with friends, going for a bike ride, and seeing plenty of friendly faces.
I grew up in the 80s coming here every day. Now my daughter gets to play here with Grandpa. Such wonderful memories here!
Its very calm and theres a diving board and the water is deep enough to where you wont hit the ground
Beautiful area to spend a afternoon just enjoying nature
Great park for elementary aged and older. Shady, with lots of open space for group games.
The playground is top notch and has areas for little and big kids. We spend at least a few hours a week there with my 2 year old.
Very nice park for familys, and for walking. Park has native and exotic trees and plants.
This park is bigger than it seems so first glance. Multiple play areas, and a sign directing you to a beach.
Lots of photo ops
A very peaceful place to park with good cool shade. Please dont parrellel park though or else only 3 cars can get in there.
A good place to take kids, nice quiet area available. Wish there was an explicit place to park.
Really nice quiet place. An extremely high number of lifeguards present as well
A nice little neighborhood park, great play area for kids and tennis courts for everyone.
It a really nice park i really enjoyed
Love it, but needs decent bathroom, the one deep in the woods is scary...
Wish they would redo the tennis courts.
Great park! Fun play equipment for the littles.
Playground its nice but bathrooms are way down the path past the tennis courts. Too far for an emergency run with little ones.
The stream us perfect at nights to sit an think
Good for young kids
Nice and peaceful
Great park with a swimming beach on the lake.
Awesome Great place all around.
Beautiful views of Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier
Excellent, terrific park
A nice view, diving boards, and bathrooms... nothing bad to say about this park
