Great views, if you go to the beach be aware of the rocks. You should wear water shoes here! Other than that. Great place to take pictures and to relax on a #Seattle sunset

I love this place! It is a bit crowded and driving on this road is a slow process. Which works great as you can check out the views out west! On a clear day, you can even see Rainier in the south! I visit this park often and was taken aback when I realized that you can see Rainier from here.Apart from that, the place is usually crowded. You don’t get to see the Seattle skyline. Just miles of water and the mountains and land beyond. But it is serene that way!

We came here at a very low tide (-3) and it was great. We found crabs, sea anemones, sea cucumbers, chitons, clams, eels, and lots of other sea life in the low tide. This was well worth the trip out and finding parking on an adjacent street was fast. This is not a super sandy beach, more rocky.

This place was the highlight of my week! The tide was 3 and a half feet down than normal. So I got to see starfish, sea anemones, moon snails, cranes, and more. The naturalists there were helpful, and nice. I hope to come back again!

The views of sunset here on a nice summer day are outstanding. They simply dont get any better, anywhere in Seattle. Theres parking on both sides of the street and usually, even on busy days, you shouldnt have an issue finding a place to park. Theres a nice lookout from here and also Alki Point and plenty of walking paths. If this review was helpful, please give it a thumbs up, thanks.

Great spot to pull off and chill out at if you need a break from the hustle and bustles going on around the corner. Or if you need to view the Southwest skies for something like moon rises or sunsets and stuff this is good place. Or if tide pools are your thing then this might be your favorite place during those extra low tides.Ive never had problems parking on-site but just like the rest of Alki, the busier it is the further away youll have to park from where youd actually like to be at...

Thankfully I take my lunches at this area. Many wonderful things seperate this from the busy side of Alki. You will not be able to find a better tidal area in Seattle. This is a must go place for people with children as when the tide is out the adventure begins. You can see a plethora of different wildlife ranging from Harbor Seals, Osprey and the occasional Orca Pod off in the distance to small green crabs and sea anemone in the tidal pools. With sunsets with the Olympias to the peaking Mt. Rainier from the South its best to check the tidal charts and take a look. You never know what you will find. Also, if you are visiting during the brisk windy Winter months. Do not pass this location up as the waves will slam against the seawall and put on a fun water show...that you can drive through.

This is a quieter stretch of waterfront compared to Alki Beach, which is just around the corner/north. But there are no cafes and no beach. There is street parking and the area is popular with locals out for a walk or bike ride. Beautiful sunsets.

A lovely spot for low tide exsploring. Lots of families and critters. This is one of those spots during spring that on super low tide days the aquarium sends out marine biologists to tell you about the tidal life. Saw eveything from crabs to nudibranchs. Just watch out for squirting geoducks.

We really enjoyed exploring next to the waterfront. There are great views of the Olympic mountain range. Kids would always ask for help to turn over rocks to see if there were any crabs hiding, and then when they found some would shriek with joy! Great place to experience nature and sea life Love walking along the beach. Much easier parking than at the Alki waterfront and not too far of a walk if you are going there.
