Nice little basic park. Couple baseball fields and a small bark cover playground right next to an elementary school. Trees around the border of the park, but nothing really to supply shade in the interior of the park. A few 4 person tables to picnic at near the playground and restrooms as well.

Highland Park Playground has gotten 2 wonderful upgrades in the last couple years. First a spray park and this summer a new playground. The new playground has a lot of great features, swings, slides, multiple climbing structures. One of the structures is very unique with multiple rubber matts strung between 2 supports. kids can climb, bounce or just lounge on it.

So fun. Not too busy this past Sunday morning, just a few kids in the playground and people biking around. Water park appears to be closed this summer but the playground and bathrooms are open. Lov

What a great neighborhood park. Highland Park is wonderful for sports, families, and small kids. Even has a spray park for Spring and Summer warm days.

The park I knew and loved is no more. They took the pool, they took the sand, they took the tall swing set. They took the frog steed. What even is this place now? Half the playground is not even playable. SAD and CRINGE

Clean, lots of shade under trees. The spray park was a lot of fun for my toddler.

Great neighborhood park. Splash park is small but still fun. I wish there were more picnic tables, but it worked out, since they are close to the splash park.The playground equipment was new and interesting. Bathrooms were even cleanish!

Good place for kids

Great Seattle public park that helps offer free snacks and lunch to all kids under 18 through the summer. It was clean, the playground structures seemed well maintained, safe, and fun, and ample street parking around it.

Fun place to bring the kids and dogs. Been here twice and the only thing I can think of as a negative is that the park needs a pavilion. Otherwise bring a pop up tent and you should be good.

Great place to bring kids. Grew up just 3 blocks away and in the past 20 yrs seen this place be a area you want to avoid to a place your family can enjoy worry free.

This is a cool Park they have new water works toys and play area they have restrooms playground large filled with street parking it is behind a school in the highland Park area of West Seattle

Great park with big open fields, a regular playground area and a splash park for when its hot in the summer. Also has restrooms and a water fountain. You can park on SW Cloverdale which turns into 11th or park on SW Thistle.

Cool playground. But slides, various obstacles, looks brand new. Theres even a branded Safari jeep. Water park is fairly small but Im sure its great in the summer.

My daughter had fun at the sprinkler park, we havent tried the playground yet. She is one year old, and got a kick out of the structure that filled its own buckets with water. Once they were about two thirds full they would tip over and dump on the ground. The anticipation was fun for quite a few kids (various ages). There was quite a bit of excitement over pushing the button to turn on the water also. What child doesnt love a button - especially one that leads to splashing!?!?

The new playground and spray park are awesome. There are play structures for all ages so my 2 yo has places where he can play comfortably and be challenged.

Beautiful!!! Extensive and a fantastic safe, quiet, car-free place for off-leash doggos and free-range kiddos. Be forewarned! There seems to be only one bathroom for a VERY large space and only one stall. Stay close to car /exit strategy if thats a concern.

Brings back many memories from my childhood with my twin brother. Not much as changed from 65 years ago.

Grew up across the street from this park, and the neighborhood has gotten better recently. Lots of grass and plenty of playing fields

This in NOT an off leash park! There is one literally 5 blocks away! Playing catch with my son today, as soon as a dog arrived off leash he asked to go home (he had a very bad experience there with a dog years ago and it still haunts him). Please respect City laws and keep dogs on leash.
