One of my favorite places to just get out of the house and enjoy a delicious picnic with a friend, some hoops, a nice walk, hear children laugh while they play at on the playground.Its truly amazing post Covid19......what one can learn about themselves.....the place has always been fun as Ive been coming here for over 20 years. I guess I just appreciate a great park in 2020 in Scottsdale more than ever.

We had a great time at a nice park. 4 stars only because when we got there at 10 a.m. none of the Pavilions had reservations on them so we did not know which Pavilion was ours. The park and rec folks didnt show up until about 10:30 at which time we had already set up for our barbecue including the bounce house. I would have been better if someone hadnt gotten it done prior to the time that we paid for it which was today I am. Ross theres no real issues since none of the armadas had reservations on them.

Big park with basket ball court, volley ball courts , big Ramada’s very good for parties, kids play area with plenty of swings and equipments.Best part we liked is the trail, awesome landscape with ups and downs .. lot of green space .. kids had lot of fun going to this park

Very park-y. Even has good park-ing.I enjoyed my kids getting their energy out while I park-ed myself on a bench.

Great park play basketball, have a picnic, and if you have a membership to the cactus Park aquatic center/ fitness center you can enjoy the nautical and workout facilities as well.

Its very peaceful. I go there to do my Bible study assignments. Love it and its close to home

I always go here to run/workout just cause its close, but it is a decent park and never crowded much. Most amenities are closed thanks to covid..

I played basketball there with some friends in the evening time. The park is very clean, outside water fountains which is a bonus.

Were here almost weekly for a meet-up and always have so much fun. Honestly my boys (4.5 and 6 y.o.)arent huge fans of the playground, but they have spent up to 3-4 hours exploring around the perimeter, riding bike on the basketball court and honestly just using their imagination. Its a dream to be able to just sit at a table and watch them play endlessly. The only down fall is that its kind of a hike up to the bathrooms, but were just thankful there is one!

Great, mostly shaded playground. Park and restrooms are clean. Lots of picnic tables. Will definitely be going again.

There is plenty of open area for kids to play, practice sports, & also a walking path that goes all around the field.

Clean and well organized.

Good place for morning jogging

Went to a celebration of life at this park. We had a barbecue and fireworks it was nice. Did not find any readily available bathroom though. It was probably at the main building kind of a walk.

Wife and I came here to grab some pictures of the Moon tonight 9/15/2016 and had a pleasant time. It was after 8pm and the park was adequately lit, people walking their dogs, playing basketball and enjoying some time outdoors. From what we could see they have a nice pool, gym area, and courts. We took some nice pictures of the moon.

Good variety of equipment. Wish there were more bench seating by playground. And I have no idea where the bathrooms or water fountain were located.

Great place to walk your dog and relax as long as swimming events are not happening all the announcements ruins the enjoyment of the park and cars parking on the grass destroys it

Nice clean park, plenty of shade, space and covered Ramada areas. Basketball court, sand volleyball, kids playground and large grassy areas. Restrooms available in the fitness center.

Great running / walking path around the park that I like to use. My dogs love walking through the grass. This is NOT a dog park.

Cactus Park is a beautiful city owned Pool & Recreation Park. Cactus Pool is my favorite public pool in Scottsdale. They have great hours, clean locker rooms & a friendly, helpful Staff. Thanks Scottsdale!!

Nice place for kids & to organize parties...

This is a really wonderful facility tucked about 35 feet below street level off the corner of Cactus Rd & Scottsdale Rd with marked parking. The entrance is on Cactus Rd. It has lots of large trees and lovely landscaping. Its a very clean & well kept park. Different sized modern sun-shaded eating areas to rent out with barbeques and water station available. A provided Volley ball net, playground equipment area for kids, modern, lighted & well marked basketball, (& other-uses), court. Football & such played here in the grass areas. Theres room for multiple teams. It has an indoor workout area and pool available along with restrooms. Lovely large trees and concrete walking paths almost give a feeling of being sheltered & away from the city. Theres dog walking here and several pickup bag stations provided along with multiple waste containers. While its a good size, I would only wish it to be a bit larger for longer walking, yet theyve done a great job with the space they have provided. Really close to five stars.

A great park for little kids. The playground equipment is nice but not suited for kids over the age of 8 or 9 (not challenging enough). Nice big field area and also a great place for riding bikes/skating.

My kids enjoyed the play ground. The facility has many activities for the whole family. My kids took swimming lessons here over the summer. The instructors related well with the kids.

Love this facility. the staff are friendly end extremely helpful. if you forget your gear or break something, the pool is happy to lend you what you need to get you through your workout. Cant beat the price either. If you buy a 30 visit pass the price is $1.60 per visit. awesome!

Attended an annual Easter BBQ there and was very impressed. Parking and accessability couldnt have been better and the bathroom facilities are very nice. Will definitely have another event here!

Overall great place. The park had ample room for dozens of activities, and the pool has one of the best teams in North America. The lifeguards are also really helpful.

Really great place for a family picnic

Part of the attraction was out of order.

Kids love playing here on the playground and there is a lot of grassy areas for them to run around in. Be careful, I let my daughter crawl through the grass and she ended up with a bunch of stickers on her shirt and pants, which have proven impossible to remove.

Its a small park, but good for a quick visit. It has a playground for the kids and a nice field for running around.

An awesome park with basketball courts, play ground, and etc. The basketball courts are lit well at night and there are two half courts and one full court.

Awesome Heated Pool! And only a couple dollars! The only pool in the greater Phoenix area open for recreational springboard diving after Labor Day!

Good staff, everyone kind and nice. Park is kept well cleaned. Had my sons birthday party here - was a blast.

Between Cactus and Eldorado, Scottsdale has fantastic public pools. Cactus has plenty of lanes when its set up as 25yd but can get a bit cramped when its set up as 50m.
