If Im going to a movie, its here. Usually pretty clean theaters and the recliners are amazing. Overall a great watching experience.

Pop Corn excellent!! Cats great movie. All around good time. Only negative lines to get Pop Corn.

I went to see the movie Queen & Slim and boy oh boy, that was an OUTSTANDING Movie! And the movie theater was really, really nice. Love the seats, they recline back!

Below average for 2019. Great reclining seating. In Frozen II, before previews advertisement during radio play for Cigarettes After Sex. Not very kid friendly there. Pretzel bites sprayed with water then microwaved. Chewy. Same with hot dogs. Good only for a movie experience. Eat before you come. Oh and bathrooms were pretty outdated. You people are too easy to impress. Food is always overpriced at theaters but typically fresh and edible. Seats are typical of todays standards.

My families favorite movie theater! They have reclining leather seats, really good treats and a friendly staff. You are also able to purchase the seats beforehand that allow you to choose your exact seat so you dont have to be there an hour before to get good seats. Great theater!

As Im not from North Carolina, I requested a movie theater near my sisters home. I bought tickets for the wrong movie theatre to see the BAD BOYS premier for myself, my sister and 13yr old nephew. The manager at this location, RAY, saw the look on our faces and found 3 empty seats in the BAD BOYS sold out theater, needless to say, we saw the movie. Me and my nephew got a chance to bond. Ray was the nicest guy, I recommend this theater for RAYS customer service. THANK YOU AGAIN RAY!!!

Great customer service, food is not to expensive and the reclining seating is extremely comfortable. Their seats fill quickly so get your tickets a couple days in advance.

Overall I enjoy my visits to the cinema. The interior is clean and the people behind the counters are usually courteous and helpful. From what I can tell, the staff do a good job cleaning the individual rooms after each showing. The ticket prices have increased, I assume to pay for the new reclining theater-like seats they have in each room. The seats are nice though, very comfortable and they recline and have an extendable foot rest. You also get to choose your seat which can be good if you need to get blocks of seats. Something i found strange is that if you order ticket online at their webpage, you may see lots of movie showings with seats very full only to get to the showing and many seats are empty. Ive seen this on several occasions. Not sure if other theaters do this.

We like this theatre. They have the layout seatssuper comfy. Bring a blanket, it’s very well air conditioned. There are a few screens so you might not find all the movies. Screens are on the small size. Popcorn is so so, hit and miss, sometimes it’s great sometimes cold. Limited drink choices, no coffees! Overall it’s maintained and cozy

Seating was very comfortable, having assigned seats made our movie awesome due to not having search for seating together no matter what time you get to the movie theater. It was refreshing to see young (attendant) people at the movie theater with manners, I almost felt like we were at Chic-Fil-a Good job guys we will revisit this theater!

Love the seats and having much more room. Only thing is that reserved seating can be good and can get complicated. I had ordered tickets online for me and my young daughter side by side and when we got in there someone was sitting in one of our seats. We went and got the staff and they couldnt fix the issue because the other people had tickets for that same seat. They offered to move us to one other free chair but that would have put my child in a different row away from me. Thats cant happen because she is too young. We ended up getting the money back but of course we had already bought popcorn and drinks, so it was still a waste of money and time. Not to mention my daughter was really upset because she was excited to see Frozen and it had been a surprise for her.

The Marquee Cinemas is a nice, clean movie theater. This location has 12 theaters. They show first run movies as well as old movies (Grease, Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, Its a Wonderful Life, etc.).This theater has recliner chairs and a lot of leg room, which makes watching movies comfy. You can also make reservations for seats. This is nice because you dont have to get there super early to get good seats.

Someone always on their phone or talking and the theaters never really clean. Tonight drunk dude talking through the whole film and throws up everywhere. Splatters on us and out food. Theater gives us refund. Only a refund. Kicks one guy out and refunds the other his money. He was drunk too. No comp tickets. No apologies. Let the drunks in. Ghetto theater.

This is the best theater in North Raleigh. Book your tickets online and in advance, to save yourself the hassle of standing in line. The recliners are extremely comfortable, but it does get a bit chilly in the theater, so bring a jacket.

Have not been to movie in a long time. My aunt took me out . I went there .this place was nice. They clean up good after each picture .The worker was friendly . The worker at the stands was nice . Want to cold .They chair so relaxing .I see why people fall sleep in the movie place ..This was a good visit .....

Much more expensive than comparable theaters in the area! Compared to Raleigh Grande, which serves alcohol and much better food, the ticket price was $2 more for the same movie at the same time of day. While the seats are comfortable and they keep the theaters clean, Id go elsewhere if possible.

I wish some of the theaters were a little bigger; they have one large one for the newest release and at least one other thats slightly smaller. I do like the new seats, and the seat reservations. Otherwise the service is great and they are quick as possible when busy.

Just want to shout out to the staff at Wakefield Marquee Cinemas - my son lost his wallet there while watching a movie over the Christmas holidays. We called a week later when we realized the theater was the last place he recalled having his wallet. One of their employees found the wallet while cleaning and turned it in. All his his cash and credit cards were still in the wallet untouched. What a great statement to the quality of the young people working at Marquee. Thank you all very much!

The movies were fine but the thing that makes it unbearable to watch a good movie was the lack of an air conditioner. Even people around me were complaining about how hot they were. Myself included, and I was wearing a short sleeve shirt. I leave my review as is, great seats, good movie quality, but 2 hours of baking in the heat, in spite of having cold drinks...thats uncomfortable.

This was movie watching at its best.Theater was very clean, reclining chairs, perfect. Only problem is the price of the concession stand...the movie experience is all about the concession stand, and this concession stand makes that experience heartbreaking. More affordable concession stand, more people would come to the movies more often. Be the 1st to make the movie experience affordable.

Thirty dollars for 1 adult and 2 kids. Seemed a little pricey to me. They have a tray for kids. It contains popcorn, a small little candy, and a small icee for six dollars and some change. I noticed recliner seats as well so that was enjoyable. Would give five stars if it was cheaper. Overall me and my kids enjoyed it.

I love, love, love this theater! Its always so clean, staff is very nice and helpful! Prices are a little higher with a Matinee at $10 before 5pm (where others are $5) after 5pm goes to $12. They have Superstar Tuesdays where all seats are $9.25 (where most other theaters are doing $5 any seat, all day). I will pay more for the environment and ambiance.

Has recliners. Newer than most theaters. Dont have to worry about other people in you view. Lots of theater movies to choose from

Reserved seats. Reclining seats. Decent popcorn. Clean. But no pizza, no beer, no hamburgers and french fries... I guess its good if youre just going to see a movie but if youre going out for the evening you might want to stop over it pickled onion or something nearby.

Love this theater. It is a bit of a drive from where I live so being able to reserve our sits is a big plus! I do wish they had a discount card though as we go to movies at least twice a month there.

Funnily enough.. I worked here 14 or 15 years ago, haha! I hadnt seen a movie here in probably a decade before I just went last weekend... Theyve apparently converted to the awesome new reclining seats; that and everything else made for a great experience!

The seat recline and are super comfy and the screens are great. They do not do a great job cleaning between each show but it is not sticky. Trash is the biggest problem. Otherwise, it is a great place.

A nice theater. We went to see Bohemian Rhapsody. There was an issue with sound during previews; it was resolved before the main feature. There was a lot of lighting that remained on during the movie that was distracting. Otherwise, no complaints.

Its an ok theater, just dont sit in the back.. My girlfriend had the worst experience of a cockroach falling on to her head in the very back seats.. only reason I am giving 3 total stars is for the great popcorn. (Which costs an arm and a leg)

Never had an issue with this theatre until today. I was at the movies with my 2 friends (one of which has a physical disability from the bottom down) we went to go to a movie and noticed all the seats were reserved. We pointed at the disabled seats on the screen, and the lady declined us them although my friend HAS a disability. It is against policy to decline someone who requests that seating, at almost any place. We ended up purchasing tickets right at the front of the theatre, which required a lot of stepping up and down for my friend. The seats were too close and we all started to get headaches. Yes, we did purchase the seats so we couldn’t complain about how close it was, but it wouldn’t have happended if my friend was granted her disabled seat. And to add on to that, ABLE bodied people were in the disabled seats. (No way of knowing if they actually purchased those seats or moved there throughout the movie) we all ended up sitting on the floor of the theatre which we stayed there throughout almost the whole movie. A lady from management came up to us at the end of the movie saying us sitting on the floor was a fire hazard, which we totally understood and said sorry and just ended up exiting the movie. We left the movie and saw my friend that has the disabilities mom, and she ended up going to management and speaking to them. She wanted the money back but the manager was not budging. The manager even said to my friends mom, “it is against policy to decline someone disabled seating.” Which she just admitted they were wrong there. Eventually, we got the money back. Everything else about the theatre is great, like I said never had problems there before. But this experience leaves me with putting a 1star because people with disabilities should not be treated in this way, and should be getting seats that is rightfully theirs.

4 starts for the theater. Love the upgraded seats. 1 star for the clientele. Have had issues with people at almost every movie we have seen at this location. The clientele that go here, (not just the teens) can NOT stay off their cell phones during the movies, so we usually go elsewhere. As far as concessions go, most theatres prices are high, this one more than most, so we dont buy them.

Like any theater, the snacks are over priced. That is to expected.

Staff is worthless and rude. Including the manager who insisted on screaming like a banshee to the entire crowd of customers waiting at the concession stand. Popcorn is almost always inedible due to it being so stale and bitter, you would expect more for a 20.00 popcorn combo and 30.00 movie tickets. Always underwhelmed when I visit this theater.

Wakefield has a comfortable environment with nice seating due to a recent upgrade. You do have assigned seating now which means you should get your tickets early, but it saves you from having to sit through the five thousand previews.I would give them five stars but they are still using old projector technology. Many Marquee theaters have upgraded already and this one is behind the curve.

Absolutely love the remodel of the seating in the theater! Assigned seating, recliner style seats, that makes for a more comfortable movie experience. Still needs to add a few more amenities, and maybe a bit more selection at concessions, but overall worth the movie going experience.
