Extremely friendly staff. Lovely accommodations. Close to beaches, shops, restaurants. All in walking distance. Only draw back and not their fault were COVID 19 restrictions. Closed many amenities that they have available. They did preinform prior to arrival. My only complaint was the people above us were very loud and up well beyong 2am every day. I think a noise ordinance needs to be invoked. I do plan to speak and discuss that with the staff.

Staff and front desk were very nice and responded quickly to any requests. Timeshare desk had pushy people and I had to tell them like 10 times I wasnt interested before they would give me the key to my room. With Covid 19 it was evident they took cleaning seriously and several measures were put into place. Only 8 people could be at the pool at a time and you had to make a reservation, washers and dryers could be used but you had to call to have front desk unlock room and then call when you were done so they could sanitize it after you. Gym was closed. The room itself was spacious and clean. It was a bit outdated and floor tiles and tub should definitely be changed. TVs are not smart TVs. Overall it was in a nice location as beach right across the street.

Great peaceful place to stay. Though amenities were reduced due to Covid restrictions, the resort was spotless clean and very comfortable. The staff made all guests feel welcome and like you belong there.

Our unit could not have been better. Nice an clean rooms. Bed just right for a good night sleep. Kitchen has all the things you need to make a meal. Pool and hot tub nice an relaxing.

The Santa Barbara was really nice! Although we had seen the pictures we were surprised at how big our rooms were! Bedroom with a king size bed, a big flat screen tv,, a couch,a sliding door to a balcony and a bathroom, and a hit tub! The living room, dining room and kitchen were all open to each other. Dining room table seated 6, living room had another tv, a couch, 3 chairs, 2 sliding doors to another balcony, the kitchen had another full bathroom, full size fridge, stove and dishwasher. Although we didnt use the pool or hot tub outside it was a very pretty area with many lounging chairs. The lobby was being remolded but they used another area to

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a nice facility, but undergoing renovation in the lobby. The pool area is in the shade most of the day so we were allowed to walk a block to the Royal Vista or go to any other Wyndham in the area. The inland coastal waterway is right behind the parking deck. Some restaurants with in walking distance. The pictures are from my balcony toward the ocean and then to the waterway. Dont take the Serenity cruise ($48) even if its free. Food portions of lasagna and salad plus a piece of cake are very small. When we boarded the boat there was a partial tray of cheese and crackers available. The narration of the homes etc was minimal. Take a water taxi and see more sites for less money.

This property is only a short walk across the street for beach access. It is comfortable, clean and the staff is very friendly.The building is old, but I was very comfortable here. There is construction next door, which reservations didn’t warn me about, but it was quiet during my weekend stay.

Friendly staff, well kept up rooms even for an older building. Views are amazing and walk to the beach is no more than 2 mins.

Love this place! They were well-run and set up for our arrival. Very well organized place. The remodeled units are very nice. This was our favorite of the Fort Lauderdale Worldmark places for sure.

We have been here 9 days and within this time the staff have been rude, yelling at you in the lobby if the mask isn’t over your nose. Although, with asthma and a disability there is no reason for public shaming especially when you are wearing the mask. Avoid Meghan the Supervisor who seems her only job is to make sure she yells at you and holds the elevator each time to continue to make a scene in front of guests in the lobby. Btw no one is in the elevator but you. She won’t release the door until she feels it’s on to her pleasing. She is on a power trip and the GM thinks she is handling guests correctly. You tell me?! Don’t you feel as a paying guest under these new rules with masks handing your guests kindly would get you a lot more respect and we would want to come back Especially after this pandemic? Ya they don’t think so.Then after your public shaming you catch a maid without a mask in the halls. You say “it’s funny how I get publicly shamed for not having it on correctly but you can walk around without one.” She pulls out of her pocket and says “i have one here.” Again not on her face. Then you come at 9 pm one night and the front desk doesn’t have it on twice. Once she bends down to hide and the other time runs across the lobby without and it doesn’t say a word. (2 separate nights) I call the GM about these incidents and she doesn’t seem to care that her staff can shame you but since she hasn’t caught her staff without a mask there is nothing she can do! So stay here if you like but don’t expect a quiet relaxing vacation with friendly staff. It is the worst place we have stayed and we will never return. We called hq and will leave reviews for all to see.Also on top of the poor staff your family will never be able to get access to the pool since reservations are for 7 ppl only and only taken at 8 am for 2 hours for each reservation. So forget getting in because by 8:05 am they are booked and the pool closes at 5pm. You can not use the grill either since they thought it’s best to lock it up. No gym use since they locked that up but yet the town allows gyms to be open. So enjoy your stay. This will be the last time we come here. To bad. We have family in town and typically stay at This place. We are not owners and would never be. Why would you ever want to own this place with such terrible customer service?!

I liked Santa Barbara! Perfect location amd Dana, Roxanne, Tommy, and Kimberly were very nice! If I forgot to mention your name, forgive me! The noise from construction next door is not too bad. I think the hotel could offer more social activities to allow guest to have a reason to meet ...besides being in the pool area... The Royal Vista has most of the activities, but Santa Barbara should add some activities, too.

A Wyndham ( once Fairfield ) owner for 30 years, I have stayed at quite a few of their resorts, regularly in Rocky Mountain area and in Florida. Most years I book as many weeks as my remaining points allow in November and December in my favorite Wyndham resort. WYNDHAM SANTA BARBARA in Pompano Beach, Florida. Although not directly on the beach as are sister Wyndham resorts Sea Garden and Royal Vista, Santa Barbara is just across Ocean Blvd (A1A) from the beach. I choose SB primarily because of the homey welcoming atmosphere and the absolutely AWESOME staff. I cannot say enough about how friendly, efficient and helpful each and every one have been to me and to other guests.

Their timeshare suites are phenomenal! So much space with TWO balconies

Great room, clean and tidy with lots of amenities. Not new and a bit dated but everything you need at a reasonable price. Good location. Friendly staff.Yes there is a hard sell timeshare approach at check on but a firm not interested will get you past that. Would stay here again.

The property is across the hhwy A1A from the Ocean. It was easy enough to cross the road to a pathway to the beach. Its not a huge property but had everything furnished that we needed. Better for adults than children i would say

I stayed on the 8th floor in a 2-bedroom, 2 bath, condo with a full kitchen, and large jacuzzi and small refrigerator in the master bedroom. All amenities are modern and clean. My view was magnificent with the ocean on one side and the Intercoastal on the other. There is no restaurant on the premises but there is no shortage of restaurants, delis, bagel shops, grocery stores, etc. in the surrounding area. The beach is in walking distance and on their other property, Royal Vista. Their pool isnt that large but its ample for the small lot of guests that used it. I suspect that they were using one of the pools at Royal Vista. I had a blast, speaking if which, there is construction going on at this time but the terrace doors are sound proofed, so you barely hear very the blasting, drilling, etc. It gets a little too cold with the air conditioning even when you increase the temperature, but because of the humidity in S. Florida, its necessary. Thats a personal choice, anyway.

Was nice being able to utilize the amenities of not only this location but the other sister properties as well. This particular property was nice but it was under construction during our visit. The entrance kept moving and was a bit annoying. Staff was helpful and gave us the heads up about the construction.

Perfect place for a vacation, it is on smaller scale but big on customer service. Every day you are greeted with smiles from the front desk. Complete with free laundry, excercise room, pool jacuzzi, and BBQ grills. Home away from home ease. Close to nice beaches.

The location is nice and is literally across the street from Wyndham Royal Vista. So if you couldnt get there I recommend this place. The picture is of the dominoes board they had which I thought was pretty neat. Like again, nice place which is very close to this property.

It was a chill spot even though the first night I checked in like 2AM to a broken AC, they moved me to another room with broken door. They made it right in the morning and my fun trip continued. Great customer service team!

The room accommodations were great....corner room on 9th floor. King size bed was fantastic with 1000 count egyptian cotton sheets and great pillows. Staff was polite, attentive, and quick to respond to any of our requests. For pools and beach the sister hotel - the Vista - is a terrific option,

New building to the South sure cuts down the sunny pool time available.Exceptional place- clean spacious rooms, great views, fantastic pool and hot tub, safe parking and area, and Employee of the Year should be DANA at the front desk- just outstanding in every aspect of her job!!! One of my very favourite Worldmark sites!Only bad thing I can say about the whole place is that the cleaning and maintenance staff need to learn not to slam doors on their way in and out of rooms- very disturbing!!!

Place is where we usually stay but went to Royal Vista this year. This place needs to deal with more sunny areas around pool. Since the highrise next door was built most sunbathing around pool is a small area for most of the day.

Room was amazing!! Jacuzzi was boiling! Super spacious, cant beat staying at this resort! I cant wait to return with family and friends to experience the beach at Santa Barbara. Wyndham really offers the greatest experience and value! The staff and other guests are all super nice. Theres great pizza at Stingers nextdoor thats amazing and worth coming back to visit just for the fresh pizza alone! 5 Star Resort!

Our room is very nice much more so than I anticipated. The location is fair. It is a very easy walk across the street and up one block to the Royal Palms Vista which is directly on the beach. I am not impressed with the beach here in Pompano at all though. The sand is very hard to walk in it in kind of like mud. But the resort itself is nice.

The view from our room was breathtaking. Waking up everyone morning to a view of the ocean was a stress reliever. Dana and the other staff made our stay exceptional. The rooms were spacious and felt like a home away from home. For myself and my two children we had a one bedroom suite. We were all comfortable. The great thing was we also had 2 full bathrooms and a jacuzzi. We had so much room we invited my 2 nieces and my nephew that stayed in a small Hilton hotel room with 4 other people to stay with us. So 6 of us had an awesome, comfortable stay with enough room to accommodate two 18 year olds and three 20 year olds. The Wyndham Santa Barbara exceeded our expectations hands down!

So far the property is nice. They only lied about the timeshare presentation. They said no more than 60 minutes and no high pressure.DO NOT DO their timeshare presentation. Property is fantastic but they send you to a different property that has no regard for your time or feelings. And when you dont but you get insulted and belittled. A disgrace to the industry. But Santa Barbara itself is great.

We stayed in a deluxe studio with a view of the ocean and the intercoastal waterway.The room was immaculate, full kitchen with a bar and 4 chairs.The pool was being renovated so we had to walk over to the Royal Vista and use theirs(very nice, 2 pools and a bar).The pool table, ping pong table were available to use all hours.

Place is alright, ongoing construction however. Needed to go to their sister hotel near by for beach access. We had a nice unit though, with a great view. Kimberly, one of the receptionists, was very nice, attentive and always helpful.

Again Wyndham has misrepresented the placing of this resort on their website. They show the resort on the beach. No it is not. It is a walk but it is aggravating when you think you will be on the beach. Pool is also closed. This is one of the smaller and I am going to guess older resorts in Pompano Beach. We have stayed at 3 other and this is by far our least favorite. On the other hand the people are Wonderful.

Had a wonderful stay very nice suite on the 10th floor everything was in working order..great staff was excellent especially James at front desk, and housekeeper Rose was very helpful and accommodating.

Santa Barbara is a wonderful convenient place to stay while visiting Pompano Beach. If you are not a Wyndham member you can contact Extra Holidays and book. If you are a member you can use points and cash if nights are available to meet your vacation plans. The staff is amazing...very helpful no matter what your needs may be. There is a pool, work out area, parking, and concierge. Each unit has a complete kitchen if choose to eat in and cook your own meals. You have choices of a one, two, or studio unit. It is convenient, right off 95 and across the street from the ocean. There are restaurants within walking distance, a small grocery store, and a few shops. It is handicap accessible. I have stayed here for five years due to the staff and location, right on A1A.If you need any service while here, just ask. They want you to enjoy your stay.There also is a coin operated washer and dryer on each floor for your convenience.

We drove 26 hours to get there and we are so happy with our decision. we booked for 11 days. Staff is amazing - with a mention to Kimberly - our room is above our expectation. The concierge is very helpful. the beach is just across the street or about 250 meters. Nice and clean swimming pool with a spa, nothing was missing in the fitness room; this place is very well maintained. we strongly recommend Wyndham. Kudos to the whole team!

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon for a week. We absolutely loved our time with Wyndham Santa Barbara. The staff was great to us, especially those at the front desk. They helped us with anything that we needed and went out of their way to fix our issues that we had. We loved the front desk people and the time that we stayed here. We will be coming back to this location again because of the great service we experienced. Five stars.

My first visit here-have owned a timeshare for many years. The condo was like new, new appliances, clean, & good customer service. Great accommodation close to everything.

My parents own a timeshare here. There are times in the pool that are broken, the jets in the jacuzzi in the room smelled like sulfur, might want to run them between occupants just to clear the pipes. But we love the pool area, the staff is AMAZING and its just a wonderful place to stay.

Nice resort but very large construction project going on next door! Relatively small pool area but right behind is the intercoastal waterway. We took a Sunset dinner cruise on the Serenity hatch...very nice.

Nice rooms. AC seems to be tricky. MAJOR issue is the construction right next door. There are two buildings being built. Its loud and not peaceful. Staff was wonderful. Sister property across the street only has the one pool open, but everything else is closed due to renovations being done from storm damage. Great location, just across the street from the beach.

The room is very nice and a large sozed kitchen with utensils and pans etc. The employees are extremely nice and helpful. Our room keys didnt work so they made us new ones. They always give us more towels when we need them. The pool is nice and there are umbrellas you can go under. The front lobby always smells absolutely amazing and there is always complimentary water or lemonade to drink when you walk in. Very short distance from the beach. Overall a great hotel!

We came to this same resort last year b/c we loved it so much so we came back again this year! The rooms are nice! This time of year the snowbirds have gone back home so its quiet! The pool is empty the restaurants arent hard to get in and the area is just kind of relaxed! We love everything about the locations of this condo! The lobby smells amazing when you come in and the staff are so kind! Definitely home away from home!

Great location and friendly staff

This place was great for our family vacation. The kids had their own bedroom and we had the master bedroom. The living room had a DVD player to watch free movies that you can check out from the hotel. I wish there was a DVD player in the master bedroom too. We had an awesome view of the ocean even though the hotel is across highway A1A. One minus is that the rooms didnt have a washer and dryer, something we are used to when we stay at our timeshare properties. But we were able to wash using the ones located on each floor. Although those are not free. The main lobby always smelled wonderfully clean. I felt safe here and the rooms look way better in real life than on the pictures on the internet.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo and it was beautiful. The furniture looked new and fit our needs perfectly. The master sweet is huge. It had enough room for two cribs and a twin aerobed. There is also a whirlpool tub in the room.The hotel has a small pool and a big deck with a tiki bar and a gas grill the guests can use. They do activities at the pool almost every afternoon. To go to the beach you can go across A1A to its sister property the Wyndham Royal Vista. There they have 2 pools and a kiddie pool. You can buy sandwiches and drinks on the pool deck and then you can go out to the private beach. At the beach you can rent jet skis, kayakes, boogyboards,This was my favorite vacation in florida. The location was perfect and if you dont mind walking you dont need a car. There was a Publix one mile away, a Walgreens .7 miles away and plenty of places to eat. Overall the hotel was terrific.

One of our favorite resorts. Very well maintained. It is smaller than most of the Wyndham resorts but you feel more at home. Staff very friendly. We always go there late spring and fall. Beach right across the street.

Absolutely aweful service. We have been here multiple times and generally everything went well. This time we arrive at 3:45 to check-in. They say our room isn’t ready yet... not a problem because we know check-in isn’t until 4. Front desk promises our room to be ready in 15 minutes, as we have a six month old baby that is hungry and we have been up since 4am to catch an early flight. My wife heads back there at 4 and they say it’s not ready and they “don’t know when it will be ready”. The wife asks for a better explanation and of course they don’t have one. They say they hope it will only be another 45 min. So we sit...

Came by to see resort for future reservations, very quiet and clean. Will update when we actually stay here next time

We were celebrating our anniversary and Tamika at guess relations was so nice and cordial.She went out of her way to make our stay more enjoyable. She wrote us a beautiful hand written card that we are going to cherish forever. She also made reservation at the Chart House and WOW. What a service.Kudos to Tameka. You made us feel right at home. We will never forget you.
