This is a 5 star Wyndham resort in Pompano Beach Florida directly on the Atlantic ocean. We were lucky to have arrived on the 1st full moon of December 2020. It was a beautiful sight to see. The resort Is one of the nicest that I have been in and would highly recommend it.Many of the activities are limited because of the virus but you just cant beat the view.

Loved staying here, had an amazing room and it was my first stay as an owner. Clean and taking every precaution to stay clean during the pandemic. I definitely felt safe. Staff was wonderful as well, they make the trip the best. Thanks guys, really.

Though I didnt stay at this resort (I was staying at another Wyndham time share property nearby), I stopped in the Royal Vista to tour the facility and see a 2 bedroom unit - Im interested in this property for next time, as it has direct beach access. Beautiful facility with great amenities! Fully renovated in 2017, so everything looks quite new. This is definitely going to be my choice next time I come down to Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Construction ongoing was a downer. No hot tub! Was great being on the beach. Pool reservation required during covid times. Staff was great! Ricardo was awesome and answered all of our questions about the surrounding area sites, restaurants, and activities.

Very peaceful and calming here, this is NOT in a touristy area, so if you are looking to be in the middle of it all you want be happy, but if you want an area to go and relax at the ocean and enjoy time with your family, then this is the place.

Amazing resort right on the beach. Plenty of places to dine or shop within walking distance. Super courteous staff always willing and happy to assist the guests!

Great experience while there. Only downfall was no food on site. Excellent service and accommodations. Will be returning again to enjoy our family time.

As a Wyndham timeshare owner for many years the properties are very nice but I give the sales staff 0 stars. Im appalled by their ruthless sales tactics. Im a financially secure female and you have no right to ask a personal question like if my boyfriend lives with me then require me to include him at my sales presentation. Its 2020, women can be financially independent!

Royal Vista has a beach side rental hut called On the Beach Watersports. They were friendly and accommodating. The prices for rentals were very affordable and the beach was very clean.

The resort was beautiful. The room we saw was updated, spacious, and gorgeous! We went to the resort for a presentation on a vacation package. The presentation was good. If we all werent dealing with Covid it would have been something we wouldve considered. The only negative thing was related to Covid. The salesmen wouldnt keep their masks on. My husband suffers from asthma. We take his safety and that of others very seriously. Part of being a salesmen is reading the client. If my mask doesnt ever come down, if I keep moving further away from you. If I take all of my stuff and move it under the table. Im sending you a message. God willing, I hope everyone involved remains healthy!

This place is legit, if you get a beach view suite, you win. Margs, bloodies, and mid-morning brunch with the ocean crashing and the breeze blowing. Why not?

A great place right on the beach. The only issue is that we traveled during a pandemic, therefore the beach bar was closed and we had to have pool reservations to visit the pool(s). The staff was kind and considerate.

My family enjoyed our stay and all of the amenities they were able to offer.

Royal vista is on the beach, 2 swimming pools and a sweet tiki bar on the sand, there is also a rental booth for lounge chairs and umbrellas, jet skis. We just did a quick walk around to check it out, but I want to stay here soon.

Stay OK , this Covid stuff makes a great place just average! Not their fault!

What is there not to like. 2 pools and a kiddie pool, also steps away from the beach and some rooms are beachfront. the view is amazing!!!

Pompano Beach is lovely, this resort is beautiful as well, its extremely hard to get into since its one of the most popular Wyndhams in the area. Staff are very friendly.All it needs is a renovation.

I enjoy this Wyndham resort. Relaxing and beautiful place. Pools with beach access. Even Sarah the Macaw as the Mascot is here by the beach with her own Under the Sun, sun screen. (Which I have used for years and love)

Want to give a big shout out to Anthony who was covering the front desk one evening!!! He took his time helping me choose restaurants and attractions in the area. His personal recommendations made for a spectacular vacation!Already am booked to return in April 2020 and looking forward to another great time!!l

Great place with ocean front you cant literally get off the pool n walk to the beach

This is the second time I stayed here with my family. We were in a 2 bedroom unit. It was large and comfortable. Everything worked in the unit and was clean. We had a balcony with view of the street. We tried to check in around 1:30pm but was told that our room was not ready. Ok, we went out for lunch. Came back close to 4pm and room was still not ready. I could not get an answer about when the room will be ready. I was only told that it was still being cleaned. Room was not ready until 4:20pm.My son enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and looking at the traffic flow and people. Good sunset view. Resort is on the beach so access was easy.

The only thing 2 make this place better was..1. been on the beach instead of across the street.2. wouldnt have seen 1 roach... more the area than the property. It was really clean everywhere we went.The 1 bedroom is a great space with 2 baths, 2 balconies & tons of space. The shower was large & bed was restful. Separate living room space in the bedroom. The room was so comfy, we didnt leave 1 day, & ordered in. They have 2 activity rooms, with pool table, ping pong, ice hockey, basketball & more... keep the kids (& us) busy for hours included in the room price. #winning. Pool & spa were adequate. Outdoor gazebos were a nice touch & I didnt mind the outdoor bar. Front desk & concierge staff was super sweet & helpful. Would definitely return.

Pleasant 3day 2night stay. It was supposed to be a 3night stay but my flight out of Baltimore was canceled because of a big storm. Large 1 Bdrm deluxe unit. Corner unit which gave me the ocean view from balcony. They are still rebuilding but I didnt notice any construction noise. Located on the beach side of street.

Nice area, lots of sunbathing areas and beach access. Still buildings block a lot of sun for sun bathers which apparently why a lot of people come to the resort. Activities area is too small and doesnt have chairs for all when playing bingo.

We stayed in a 2/2 with full kitchen, dinning area, living room and balcony. Excellent, they provide all you need. Kitchen appliances are up to date. The resort have activities for kids and adults, 2 pools, spa, arcade, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place.

Just went to the beach. Very relaxing

Had a great time with watching my grandson paddle boarding. The help were great and accommodating. The facility was comfortable for an on the sand business. The rental equipment seemed safe and well cared for. I definitely recommend this experience.

Everything about this place says professional. Very accommodating. And they are remodeling so should get better.

I am glad this is my timeshare location. I love it here. Staff is dope. Our room was baller. And the sunrises made my day.

Spacious and clean. Conveniently on beach. Compared to other Wyndham resorts, there are not as many amenities, but still a very nice experience. They could purchase several larger outdoor games- such as connect 4 or jenga to increase possible activities. Otherwise, good stay.

Great place to stay. Its an older resort and being updated. Location is just outside the major traffic work some nice sights nearby. Great staff. There tons are a very nice size.

Resort right on the beach. Water sport, chair and umbrella rentals all reasonably priced. Rooms are nice with all amenities, most with view of beach. Small bar on beach with drinks but no snacks. Two pools. Grocery, drug stores, many restraunts all within 10 minutes drive.

My Grandmother has been a member within this facility for more years than I can count. After developing Alzheimer’s, they have heavily taken advantage of her by conning her out of money and not allowing us to stay in our typical room. My Grandfather paid $8,000 to Will our condo down to his children and this company took his money and did absolutely NOTHING in return. This has been an absolutely terrible experience for the past couple years and it makes me so very sad. Our most recent visit, we were promised a ocean view room. We did not receive that, and when we arrived the room was dirty and not ready. I am very upset with this place and I know people can find a more friendly place to spend their money and spend a fun time with their family. They always have a poor excuse for their poor actions and I am very sick of it. Spend your money elsewhere!!!!

Lovely resort. Enjoyed the beach immensely. Avoid the sales presentation.

For a timeshare its excellent. Which was strange it was from a Wednesday to a Wednesday most timeshares are Friday to Friday Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday this was different.

The condos are very spacious and updated. Very nice layout in the condos.

I was initially reluctant to give our stay more than a couple of stars because our first night was plagued with A/C issues, annoying mechanical noise that went on and off all night. After a sleepless night we complained to the front desk and to their credit they immediately sent their chief engineer Jade who couldnt have nicer and more understanding, he quickly corrected the A/C issue by replacing the defective component. Although that issue was resolved we still werent going to tolerate that mechanical noise another night. Anthony the resort manager (who also couldnt have been nicer) relocated us to another room and saved the remainder of our stay. These two employees and their staff are the reason this is not a completely negative review and that I gave 4 stars instead of 2...

Didnt get to stay there, but attended an owners seminar. Seemed like a very nice property.

Room and view are incredible but the staff is not very friendly. We had a great time staying, the room was very big and had enough space for all 6 of my family members.

Very nice and clean hotel. My only issue was the large pool was closed all 4 days we were there so that stunk but that was the only issue. The staff was very friendly. We have gone 2 times and will definitely be back next year

This is a really nice place, people are pretty friendly and helpful. What i really hate about it is the sales pitch Everytime you check in! I didnt come here to buy something! Im on vacation, dont need the pitch.

Renting a beach umbrella and chairs is quite expensive! Otherwise, the pool is very very small and filled with children. Only good aspect is the beach access (including sea weed). The parrot is the coolest thing there (no feeding allowed!), oh, and huge iguanas!!

The rooms are nice and recently renovated. The rest of the resort is showing its age. I also didnt like being told to move a couple of hundred yards down the beach because I pay for a chair and umbrella. I guess the empty chairs need a view also.

They gave me the wrong address to contact them after my review. I did receive a notification from them that we left a bag and to let them know whether we would like to pay the ten dollars to get it back.I guess $800 a month in maintenance fees and a paid mortgage really brings the value and customer service you deserve.NIGHTMARE

First time here and absolutely love it. I plan on returning. The staff is super friendly and the locals will send you to some delicious hole-in-the-wall restaurants and bars.

Had a wonderful time the staff was way over the top resort wasnt over crowded the grounds were well taken of our room was very nice and clean we had s lot of fun and will come again .the location was perfect to everything as well.sara the parrot was a neat attraction. Would of like to have seen a jacuzzi or 2.

I would give this place less than one star if possible....you could put this building in any state....so very non descript...generic...lack of character...Sea Gardens by wyndahm...is just up the road....is much better than royal vista....beed to change the name to AVERAGE VISTA

Horrible. As a general rule please avoid Wyndham at all costs. Had a family held at this location for upwards of six hours getting harassed over their timeshare

Room was ok. Id call it a silver star. Concierge was pushy about going to their sales pitch, even calling us in the room because we turned them down in person. Dont bother going down there they had no deals to offer. the deli was closed for construction when we were there. The tiki bar stupidly closes at 8pm so finish dinner early if you want to sit near the beach with a drink. The average age is silver haired. My husband worked in the hotel industry for many years so he has a lot more to say, but overall its ok if you want a relaxing vacation without frills.

Im a Wyndham for the last 16 years and I was really looking forward to staying at the Royal Vista. My husband and I stayed 2 weeks ago to celebrate his 47th birthday. We stayed on the newly renovated floor with a beautiful view of the ocean. We had some minor problems but everything was pretty much taken care of. Our only real problem was the AC stoped working for a couple days and it was pretty uncomfortable. The house keeping manager and the front desk manager came to our unit to speak with my husband and we were told that we would be refunded 3 days of points to make up for our discomfort. Well we havent received the points yet and Ive called and left a message and still no response. Im pretty disappointed.
