Lovely park along the lake, complete with a playground for the kids, tables & chairs for relaxing, eating, even grilling. Also a public bathroom, beach area, grassy area, and the paved path for walking/biking/skating. Lots of ducks and geese, watching people on the water, and amazing spot for sunsets on/over the water.

Great park for family outing. Playground is brand new with amazing long slide. Plenty of seating areas and lovely beach. Sunset watching at this place is a must!

Small neighborhood park thats just right for a quick picnic or a dip in the lake. Recently updated and offers some really cool features including built in lounge chairs, a sea serpent, and a large picnic shelter.

Really nice facilities and playground. Large swimming area but it only goes out to 3 at most without lots of weeds. Great for smaller kids or chilling in shallow water. Has an outdoor shower at 3 heights perfect for just washing your feet if you need to or even taller people. Lots of seating thats really nice.

Cool little park right on the lake! Fun playset and slides and a great covered area with picnic tables to get out of the sun. Definitely a great family place.

The park is fun. The beach area is nice but the swimming spot is very weedy. My kids werent really loving that part of it. I liked the fact that there was a ton of seating around. It made it easy for me to work while my kids played and still be able to keep an eye on them. Parking was very close which was perfect for hauling kids and swimming gear. We would return for the park but probably not choose it for a beach to swim at.

Take the big walk - all the way around the lake. Fantastic.The playground is pretty awesome for kids.N or NW breeze on a warm day East Medicine is the best.

Went there to see the Neowise comet. It was visible, but it was harder to see because of all the light pollution from the parking lot lights. Still, it seemed like a nice park at 9:45pm. I could actually see it better from me friends back yard in a maple Grove neighborhood since the lights werent as dominant... Oh wait, this isnt a comet review. The geese were friendly and didnt ask for bread.

We had my best friends wedding here. It was absolutely gorgeous and perfect to have the park right there

Nice, relaxing park by the lake. Its on the Luce Line Trail, which makes for an easy 1+ mile walk in either direction before the trail narrows or goes up hill.

Walking trail around the lake, beach, park and parking lot. Trails lead to neighborhood but able to get most of the lake walked. With multiple other beaches and parks along the way.

Nice updates for the kids, good sand, shallow for a long ways out, but the weeds washing to shore are not getting cleaned off. What a lake! Great spot for a sunset.

We love to come and sit at the tables along the beach and relax looking out at the water. Nice playground and facilities, too.

This is a favorite place to enjoy the lake and scenery, have some lunch or just pass some time, check it out i m sure youll come back !

The park is under renovation, with s snack bar changing rooms picnic area, and ne playground equipment. The walking paths along the lake are well kept and smooth.

Went early in the morning to avoid people. Playground looks like it will be fun when there are no covid concerns. Water is great, child enjoyed it.

I love this park it goes back many years for me and it’s very enjoyable to walk there and see the lake! I highly recommend it for a walk or biking or the beach water area.

Pretty small park with clean beach. From this park you can go on long Lucy Line trail, which is great for biking, running walking (train is about 50 miles long)

Its very nice and peaceful the park is really fun they have showers to rinse off in and a bathroom its a clam park but dont forget the bug spray

Cute like park that was quiet. My daughter had fun at the park climbing on the new play structures. The beach was small and quaint, perfect for a quiet picnic. The park grounds were well maintained. There was plenty of shape spots to sit and ample tables for enjoying a meal or relaxing.

Pretty park area, on beautiful Medicine Lake. You can normally find a place to park, and there are good pathways for miles.

Clean, great park for kids of all ages!!! Open beach as well. New playground is awesome! Something for everyone. I especially like how the little kids can climb the tower and it is safe for them. Indoor bathrooms as well as porta-potties drinking fountain. Cute ambiance.

Playground is great for small children and it is a great place to launch paddle boards ,kayaks,canoes things such as that. Free parking too, but, the beach is NOT great for swimming. Its very minimally maintained by the city so there is lots of sea weed and goose poop, etc. The bathrooms are never open but there are porta-potties. The bike trail runs next to the lake and through the park so there is good bike racks to lock up your bike and have a picnic, let the kids play or what ev.

Great location and nexus for 3 bike trails

The all new and improved East Medicine Lake Park is definitely one to check out. Excellent play ground and updated beach. Good shelter to host parties with chairs and a grill. The park is still not complete and I cant wait to see the completed park. Most of the fun slides on the play ground is for older kids 5-12.

I love this place ! I love to walk along the walking trail. It will be awesome in the spring and summer.

The city just renovated the entire park and it is amazing! The shelter is big with plenty of picnic tables including a big stationary charcoal grill and a room that could be used for concessions or to host an event. The playground area is full of interesting interactive pieces (that even I may or may not have tried out) which some are wheelchair friendly. A side area with another grill and a few more tables adds more seating with a view of the lake and the very well maintained beach.

Good spot for older kids to play, not too much to do for toddlers though. The beach area was pretty and the dragon is cool, but it didnt look like the cleanest beach for swimming. They have big grills for grilling and a covered picnic area though!

This park has recently had a new playground picnic area with bathrooms, as well as exterior showers to wash off after getting out of the lake. The beach is nice, as you walk into the water the ground transitions from sand to mud, which some people to not like. Plenty of parking on site, and the bike trail runs right by the beach too.

East Medicing Lake Park has been redone since our last visit and it is very nice! The playground is awesome and there is now a nice shelter for holding parties.

This park has brand new buildings. Restrooms in one and catering service in the other. Restrooms were open May 24, 2019. Rental of other building is projected in June. Plenty of picnic tables, a kids play area or sit on the huge adrinrodack... spelling? Chairs and watch the action on the lake! On the walking/bicycle path which goes around the lake.

They have a great little beach with a swimming area and a playground. There is also a little outdoor shower to rinse sand off. There are picnic tables under a covered area next to the playground

You can finally access it which is nice. But the entire playground is gone. They must be redoing it yet again. Seems this park is always under construction. lots of people out ice fishing wet and sloppy. But really nice to be able to walk on the paths and down the boardwalk today. Lots of people out enjoying the warm weather.

Went here looking for a dog park. Didnt find it. Dont think there is one there. Seemed like a cool place though

Love this quiet beach park.

The beach was nice and not crowded. There were porta pottys and a playground. The only negative part was the quality of the water. There was a lot of seaweed near shore, and when we came back in, I saw two dead fish on the shoreline. The water was also pretty shallow and not the best for adult swimming.

Great for little kids. It will be even better when they finish building it.
