Great time! Completed the Prison Break room with three people. Staff was phenomenal. Game master monitored the situation well, giving us clues when we needed them/asked for them. The puzzles were varied enough to stay interesting for the full hour, yet intuitive enough that we never felt we hit a dead end. Caution about Prison Break: youre in jail, so you start the game handcuffed and have to find a way to get then off. If youre not comfortable with that, youve been warned. Hope to go back soon, maybe try the creepy cabin room next!

Played the gold rush room because of The quiet place spin it was supposed to have and was throughly disappointed that it wasnt actually integrated into the game. Staff was nice enough, but had us read a sign on the door instead of explaining the game to us. Good set design, but many of the puzzles are fairly generic or lock based.

Prison break was really nice ! , pay attention to detail and without giving out much , if youre sure something should open and it doesnt ASK for help. We made it out with 1sec to spare , was thrilling for sure ! I would recommend atleast 3-4 people to make sure you can solve this . We were 3 and couldve used one additional person.

We did the Alice in wonderland room and man that was a Clever one. Birthday party for fourteen mostly 8 and 9 year old girls. The Zero Hour crew gave us a great room for some pre escape pizza and was absolutely awesome at getting the team through the puzzle with just enough help. Super fun for all of them and I suspect most of the kids will be back. My family will for sure. Highly recommended.

Ive done all but one room and the rooms I did do were fun. The staff is typically helpful when you ask for clues. The last two rooms I did the staff had to come into the room during the middle of the escape to provide us with equipment (flashlight and a set of keys) because the staff forgot to replace/put the room back together properly prior. Another thing I found annoying was booking online. We had 4 people out of the 8 available spots book online and then the room sold out. We found out right before we entered the escape room that staff purposely limited the room to just us. There were others in my group that couldnt go because of this....guess its the businesss loss $$$.

We went here with a group of 7 (6 adults and one child) and had a blast. The Prison Break room involved wearing costumes, solving a variety of puzzles, and included some funny and surprising elements! We were able to finish the room in time, but it was more difficult than I had anticipated - teamwork was definitely required.

Andrew did a great job accommodating our Groupon that was for 8 people but we had 9 who wanted to go together. This was also a great turnaround as we bought the Groupon and called on a Sunday then did the Escape Room a day later. We all had fun at the escape room we did - very authentic with prison jumpsuits for all sizes and handcuffs to start. There were a lot of challenges inside which were a little difficult. We had to rely on quite a few clues. It was challenging and interesting!

This place was comically bad. My fiancé and I came to Minneapolis for an escape room weekend and this was the only company out of the 8 we played that we didn’t enjoy. We play a lot of escape rooms as well as design them, so we are aware of how difficult it is to operate an escape room and give a lot of slack to rooms when playing. However, this place was on a whole new level of terrible. It started as soon as we walked in the door and not a single employee was to be found. At first, we assumed that they were just busy, but when a game master came to get another group for their room and refused to acknowledge us or any of the other players waiting for their room, it became clear it was just poor management. We waited for 25 minutes, 10 minutes past our scheduled time, before someone finally came and asked if we were there for a game. My fiancé and I plus another group of 3 said we were there for Gold Rush and proceeded to the room. When we got to the room there was a door that looked like an actual cabin door and made it seem like the room’s set design would be amazing, so we decided to give the company a chance, as they obviously had worked very hard to make this room nice… Right? No. The door was not even real and was only there as some sort of a vague gesture to the room’s theme. About the time the game master asked us to read a poster on the wall so we could know the beginning of the plot, it was obvious that this company had no idea what it was doing and then we were led to another door and the game began. The set was so lazily done, wires and cords showing everywhere, poor paint job, skewed and for some reason patchy window tint, that it looked like it was slapped together as fast and sloppy as physically possible. The puzzles were very simple, tons of logic leaps, and many items barely worked. The storyline however, was my personal favorite part of the room. About halfway through it just suddenly and sharply just went a completely different direction that made no sense, but just about the time you kind of try to accept this new and out of place story it completely changed again. It was like they had parts of three different stories with three different themes that had nothing to do with one another and decided it would be best to just throw them together and see what happened. When the game was over, the game master asked if we had any questions about the game. I had MANY, but managed to limit myself to one… why make such a nice door to fit the game and not even use it? It was the nicest part of this whole company and it WASN’T USED FOR ANYTHING AT ALL! I was given a clearly made up on the spot answer about it being for pictures, even though he proceeded to immediately walk right past it without even mentioning pictures until we got to the front. Don’t waste your money at this place. There are so many beautifully designed games and companies all over Minneapolis. Just not this joke of an establishment.

Friendly and accommodating staff. We had a room that fit 3 adults and 14 kids between the ages of 11 and 14 for a birthday party before entering our escape rooms (Prison and Kraken). 7 per rooms. Ideally I think 4 max for our room. My team did the Kraken and made it out with 5 minutes to spare. Very enjoyable. The clues were challenging but not too difficult. The room was really well setup in terms of decor. I don’t write too many reviews on things but this definitely deserved a write up. Overall we had a wonderful time!

Review №32

Production/Set design was pretty good. Price wasnt too bad if youre using a discount from Groupon or something. The rooms had some logic jumps that didnt make a ton of sense and required a decent amount of trial and error. Had some cool elements that other rooms dont have (like computers to bring a digital aspect to it). They turn rooms around very fast so even if youre just a couple of minutes away from solving it you dont get to get out. Because the staff needed to turn the room over do quickly they didnt really engage with us too much about the room and questions people had. We could hear the group in front of us yelling numbers out as they were trying to figure out the last few clues as they were trying to figure it out. They claimed two rooms were the same level of difficulty, but one we did not escape only had a 40% escape rate, and the other we escaped with 30 minutes left.

Nicholas Sutton (c. 1440 – 1478) was an Irish judge of the fifteenth century, who held the offices of Attorney General for Ireland and Baron of the Court of Exchequer (Ireland). His career demonstrates how small the Irish legal world was at the time: his father held the same two offices, while his widow married his successor as Baron of the Court of Exchequer.[1] His will, which no longer exists, has been described as being full of curious details.[2]He was born in Dublin, probably at Werburgh Street, where his family had a town house, and where he was buried. His father was William Sutton, who was Attorney General in about 1444 and then served on the Bench for many years a Baron of the Exchequer; his mother was Alison Darby.[3]He was appointed Attorney General in 1473, and is recorded as holding office as a Baron of the Exchequer in 1478: most likely he replaced his father who had retired from the same office the previous year. Nicholas however died almost at once, two years before his father, and was buried in St. Werburghs Church, Dublin.[4]Elrington Ball states that Nicholass will, of which Ball had seen a copy which no longer survives,[5] was a curious document, which showed evidence of extraordinary religious fervour, even by the standards of the age. Nicholas called himself a clerk, which was the normal contemporary term for a celibate clergyman, but an unusual way for a married man to describe himself.[6] Should he have no other heirs, his lands were to be divided between St Werburghs and St. Marys Abbey, Dublin.[7] He left a legacy to his father, William, in return for his blessing, and numerous legacies to religious houses.[8]He had children by his marriage to Anne Cusacke;[9] in his will he commended his family to the care of Philip Bermingham, the Lord Chief Justice of Ireland.[10] A year after his death, Anne remarried his successor on the Court of Exchequer, Patrick Burnell, a member of the well-known Burnell family which produced a number of leading judges and politicians.[11]

We went as a family of six and were joined by one other couple. Most of us had never done an escape room before. We found that only one or two people at a time could fit around most of the props and clues to see what was going on and be involved, and primarily youre working on one thing at a time, so the rest of you are just standing around feeling not very useful. Eight seemed like too many people for this room. The props and clues were very clever. It was a lot of fun and we are likely to do it again. We used a Groupon, which made it affordable. I would not have done it at the full price of $30 a person. I noticed a sign in the lobby that said photos would be available for 24 hours afterwards on the website. No one mentioned anything about photos to us and no one took our photos, so I assumed this meant that there are cameras in the rooms and they would take pictures of us all as we worked on escaping the room and post those. So I was a little disappointed when I looked at the website photos and saw that all it was is people in orange jumpsuits standing in front of the height scale in the lobby.

Incredibly poorly laid out room. The puzzles and riddles weren’t innovative or thought provoking. Little involvement from the staff who was incredibly rude when we asked for batteries when our black light was dead. Their rooms are more in depth, well thought out, and rewarding with incredible engineering and movement throughout their games.

The escape room was super thematic, one of the funner ones Ive done in town. We did the gold rush and we were very surprised in the quality of the room. But we were even more impressed by the genuine passion the owners had for their rooms. Super nice and passionate guys made the experience very enjoyable. Will definitely be coming backUPDATE 12/1We went back to this company after having a great experience doing gold rush to do their newest room, changes in latitude and we had a very disappointing experience. In almost all escape rooms we have done in the twin cities the host have always been very accommodating, if sometimes people are late its not a big issue they have no problems waiting. But the host we had here did not wait at all for our friends even though we were the last group and no one was after us , but thats fair I can get past that. The room itself we honestly didnt enjoy. We didnt feel it was up to par with their other gold rush room or really most of the rooms we have done in the twin cities. This room started with a cool theme and awesome decoration but not to spoil anything it ended up being super generic. We didnt find the puzzles to be very inspiring or thematic which is disappointing because of how much we loved the gold rush puzzles. Also at a certain point we got stuck and kept asking for a hint as we were told to do and no one was responding for about 15 minutes. No idea what happened there. Also at the end of the experience they were giving 10% off coupons for leaving 5 star reviews and mentioning the host name so interpret that as you will. If this was your first ever escape room I think its fine, Im sure you will enjoy it. But for people who have done a few I would say avoid this one, mostly because it cost more and their other rooms are better.Overall if I had to rate the rooms separately I would still give gold rush a 5 star but this changes in latitude experience I would give a 2.
