Beautiful scenery. You really feel like you are stepping into the series in a very real way. The attention to detail is overwhelming. This is a definite must see for Harry Potter fans of all Ages!!

I really liked Hogsmeades station! It is beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing! Remember that you will need a park-to-park ticket to go on the train. The line is generally about 15 minutes but can go down to 10 and even 5 depending of the time of the day, which is really not that bad and I would say that it is very worth taking, not just for the experience, but to get to Universal Studios Florida faster. There is a lot of queue space but the line goes pretty quickly because there is a train about every 10 minutes, maybe even less. As decoration, there are tons of luggages, packages and carts everywhere. Sadly, the station does not look like the movies at all. In the movies, when they get out of the train in Hogsmeade the station is outside, which is not the case here: it is a whole (partially) indoor building. It looks amazing though and is kind of similar to Kings Cross Station. Plus, there is a place outside of the line where you can go to take pictures with the front of the train. The thing that threw me off the most is that, when the train leaves the station, it goes backwards... I guess it was easier to do this way, but yikes... :/ The inside of the train looks a little smaller than the one in the movie, but is pretty similar. You will be 6 in your cabin. A video plays in the window as well as in the door window during the trip, which is a fun experience, you get to see characters from the franchise and cool things happening. The experience is a little different on the way back so you should try both. Oh and the outside of the train looks amazing, just like the movies, it even has steam coming out of it. I also loved the employees uniforms, they look so authentic. Definitely a must do for Harry Potter fans and anyone who is going to visit both parks in 1 day. There is also another area in Hogsmeade, not far from the station (but not in the station), with the front of the train on display, where there will sometimes be the train engineer in front of, whom you can talk to and take pictures with. Overall, I thought Hogsmeade Station was beautifully done and very practical, but not accurate to the movies.

Very fun way to travel from Universal to Islands of Adventure. They sure outdid themselves with the way this is all set up. The visual experience inside the train is pretty cool too.

Very cool train and station, love that! Its worth it to take the train both ways as you get different experiences each timeFor me personally the trip is a little boring, as I dont find staring at a screen full of CG not that creative. But kids into the HP story should love the interaction, especially through the doorway (shadows) of Harry and the gang.

Very well thought out, kudos Universal. Very creative and both my wife and I enjoyed the show and the ride. The line of course was ridiculous, but thats par for the course I found in Universal. They need a new recording for the line, I found myself annoyed by the repetition and lack of variety over the intercom.

I think the train ride between parks is a stroke of genius. Its nice and cool and gives your feet a break. There is a video presentation to entertain you for the duration of the ride, definitely makes it feel a lot shorter. We even got to meet some nice people on the train ride every time. Not a major ride, but a big part of the Harry Potter world, go ride the train.

Enjoy a nice train ride from park to park going from this station to Platform 9 3/4. You get a different scene out your cabin window as opposed to traveling to Hogsmeade, so you definitely want to ride it both ways. Fun little ride instead of having to walk park to park.

Everybody’s experience could be different and this one is mine. I enjoy every moment i was walking around, it felt like I was part of the movie. The people get so into character and they make you feel the real experience. I like the fact that they try to recreate every moment from the movies that takes part in the Alley.

It seems to be a shorter wait for the Hogwarts Express if you are traveling FROM islands of adventure TO universal studios. Pretty well organized to get everyone in and situated. Exiting is not designed well. It is congested with everyone crowding down a small staircase. There is also a lift available and the ride is accessible for scooters/wheel chairs.

Love taking the hogswart express between both lands.. the station is just so incredibly themed. It really makes you believe that your right on the middle of it all. If you have a chance, check out the station and take a ride... it won’t disappoint.

I think that there is alwazy a shorter line from Hogsmeade to the Diagon Alley than the other way around. I never waited more than 15minutes!

When i first came to ride on this train, having heard what it did, i figured they would just have planted a few trees by the rides tracks and called it a day, but instead they have a curved screen on the outside of the train window for you to watch a little film, helping to set the mood.the train ride consists of boarding in a carriage and going to a booth. over the journey you see things out of the booths window and shadows on the shaded window to the trains corridor. its quite nice to ride on but there are a few downsides because of the design. the train always goes backwards into the station in the main studios park as the tracks are one way, its show wheels on the front dont turn and the train is a little stuffy, but i guess that just adds to the feel of it. ;-)overall worth a try. you get a different video either way from my experience so theres that going for it. worth a look. ;-)

Prefer kings cross to this station personally. Its a fun ride for the kids without having to walk to the other park. Prepare for the long wait.

Me
Review №34

Kings Cross station has more to see, but you need to ride the train in both directions - there are difference scenes that you see outside the train based on the direction youre going! Dont wait more then 20 minutes - the line will die down. Check the Universal App for wait times.

Hogsmeade Station is the station that holds, The Hogwarts Express! If you have purchased a park to park ticket or annual pass you can ride the Hogwarts Express from one park to the next without having to walk. The train ride is short and gentle and gives you an opportunity to see some of the sights and sounds of what its like to travel between London and Hogwarts! You may even be able to see Harry and friends along the way!

The wait is very long and the ride itself is nothing special. You can look out the windows as it travels to Hogwarts, but its really just screens with silhouettes of characters.More fun going the other way too: Kings Cross to Hogwarts, like in the movies.

Like the rest of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, this station is incredibly well done. The steam locomotive isnt real (its pulled my a steel cable between the rails) but it is otherwise quite realistic. There is a short video on the ride that is pretty cool (if nothing spectacular). Listen for Hermiones voice though, they clearly just used some random person voice instead of Emma Watsons and its quite hilarious sounding

Whilst it saves the walk from one Harry Potter area to another, it involves a ridiculously long wait queuing.Whilst the station looks nice, once youve had to look at it for 30 minutes, you realise its not worth the bother. The train carriage has a scene outside the window and to the carriage door which unfolds as you travel which is quite impressive
