What a great experience! Beautiful and easy for families with strollers. The fairy doors are so creative. My two girls loved finding them and and the stories for each one. We were able to eat a packed picnic next to entrance where they had out door tables. The gift store a really nice selection of garden inspired gifts as well as the most beautiful smelling orange blossom candle. I enjoyed the historical house tour. Excellent antique furniture and knowledgeable staff. We were unable to go upstairs due to covid restrictions, but definitely plan to return. Many events are held here throughout the year, outdoor concerts and art events. Membership prices are very reasonable. The butterfly garden was my girls favorite.

Upon arrival walking in, staff did not have mask on and were lounging in a chair behind the desk. They rang me up for tickets and were very short and not professional at all. I did not feel welcome at all. They pointed to the garden door and I was on my way. Very cold experience.Loved the gardens though. Paths were very wandering all over so make sure to have a map with you if you dont have all day to get lost. The butterfly monarch way station was awesome to see a monarch there. We saw some cardinals which was awesome. The tropical garden was very impressive to me.I did like the idea garden and its different options for various garden needs. Some areas seemed to be lacking in landscaping overall. Came in November so we didnt get to see the fairy doors. I didnt feel like this was a must see on the list.

Discount for members of other Florida arboretums and gardens, check for their full list! even if you dont have a discount or membership, it was not expensive when I visited. There is a small museum house on grounds that was beautifully quaint and a great spot to cool down. clean bathrooms too.

Beautiful and serene garden, with many different areas. Highlights include a rose garden, butterfly garden, and tropical garden. The yearly membership is quite reasonable and if youre local, I definitely recommend springing for that. They also put on events like movie in the garden and educational seminars. The yearly plant sale is an absolute smorgasbord of all things plants.

HPL Gardens are beautiful. Even in this heat, was a great day. Will definitely go back in cooler weather and after Covid slows down. People need to wear masks even outside when under 6. Many people were not wearing masks in the gardens nor were they social distancing. HPL should either require masks or setup one way walkways in the gardens. We live in paradise, lets all work to protect it!

I was very surprised by how much my kids and I enjoyed this garden! Ive been eyeing it for awhile and we finally went for a trip. Staff wasnt very professional. One lady in the gift shop didnt have her mask on a few times and only placed it on when another co-worker came by. She was nice, but definitely not following the guidelines. The young lady at the front desk where we bought our tickets seemed like she could care less about things and was very short. Not rude, just very short and ready to head home. We got there just after 3:30pm and there was barely anyone there. The garden is absolutely beautiful and very well kept up. There is plenty of space to social distance and still enjoy all the sights. We were surprised by how gorgeous the gardens were and all the bright colors and variety of flowers/plants. Even my toddler enjoyed the trip! Plenty of room for her to run freely and not be in anyones way. We will definitely be going back! We were able to see the fairy doors and my kids enjoyed all the info on the map that was given on each fairy. Very cute and creative. All in all, it was a great time. Very clean and beautiful.

This place is best at certain times for the flowers. So not everything will be flowering. The oaks are huge and really cool. I do with the walking paths were marked better with the map you are provided. It was hard to figure out where we were at times because the paths break off so much with out signs saying whats down that way. A mask is required to enter the entrance building. Its 10.00 a person. The museum is closed during covid. I suggest to bring water!

So much to see! Everything is beautiful. I love that there are benches everywhere - super helpful to take breaks during Florida summer. Theres plenty of shade available and the grounds are well maintained. The entrance price is reasonable and there was plenty parking available. My only concern would be the front desk person who was not very personable and there were water fountains spread around, but a couple more of them would be helpful. Otherwise, wonderful experience!

What can I say- Im a garden lover. Leu is beautiful and surprisingly large given its location right in the middle of a neighborhood. Our family purchased their annual pass and it is WORTH IT! For double the daily admission fee, we have a year to visit as often as we want, two pairs of single-use guest passes, and reciprocal admission at dozens of other gardens throughout the state. The only thing I think Leu could do better is having more clear/readable signage to help identify the plants. Their current signs are small and hard to read because their handwritten and faded. In spite of that minor shortcoming, Id recommend this garden to everyone. Its kid-friendly and just so peaceful.

As a native of Orlando, I am over the theme parks and more into nature. Harry P. Leu Gardens is by far one of the best places to visit while youre in Orlando. Here, you can lose yourself wandering peacefully through 50 acres of beautiful gardens. For the best experience, visit on a weekday in the spring. Admission is just $10.00. Make sure you have a few hours to spare to enjoy it all. I usually spend about 2-3 hours wandering the different gardens. Also bring a bottle of water, a snack or picnic basket, and make sure to wear comfortable shoes to maximize your experience.

Excellent place to relax and enjoy nature. As a VERY amateur photographer and drone pilot, I am always looking for areas around town to take pics and videos. I happened across Leu Gardens when doing a google search for things to do around me. The Gardens popped up and after a little research, a saw that the gardens are free 1st Monday of every other month, so the spouse and I took the day off and headed there.Something to know: free Mondays are PACKED, like ridiculously so. We got there fairly early and had to park on the roadway in the park. When we left, the entire property was full and you could not gain entry.Even though there were a lot of people, the Gardens are so large, you dont really feel crowded. We walked and took pics for a few hours and it was a great time. There are a few places to sit and areas where you can even have picnic lunches. All in all, it was a decent day of photos and very peaceful and beautiful locale.

Out in the gardens are perhaps miles of trails leading to many beautiful areas, many with a particular plant focus, such as Palms or Camillas. The property sits beside picturesque Lake Rowena, home to much wildlife such as turtles, snakes, alligators, and many birds.Currently, the garden features a number of game installations that kids will love both hunting for and playing.
