Honestly one of my favorite parks for the crazy river and the cabanas alone. Rented a cabana for $350 and I will never come back without renting one again. the service was incredible, no long waits for rides or food. I love the convenience of everything and the fact that souvenirs arent crazy expensive. Will definitely be coning back.

Nice place but no measurements whatsoever to keep peoples distance. They are selling this park to as many people as they can and the park was completely full by noon. They only care about their workers wearing the masks.

Best water park (for rides) in the Orlando area... But to be honest... I probably wont be returning... $26 for parking is outrageous... Plus you have to pay for a locker all day... Not to mention the prices of the food... They nickel and dime you to death on everything... I understand its a tourist attraction but Im a local and still enjoy going out every couple weekends... To be honest Ill be going to Discovery Cove from now on... Ive gone there a few times and its great... At least theyre up front with the costs... And its all inclusive

I love, love this place! From the first moment you enter, you feel like you’re in Hawaii far away from civilization in a luxurious resort. There’s everything for everyone; if you want to relax, if you want thrills and for kiddos! The food and drinks are really good, pricey but worth it.

Patiently waiting on the all clear to get back in the pools after a pop up storm. It hasnt been crowded at all. I wish we would have arrived a little earlier but there have been practically no wait times. We only had one issue of our daughter being told she could ride a ride at the bottom and then told no once we climbed nearly 200 stairs to only be told she couldnt go. :/ Their cleaning standards and safety protocols have been spot on.

My favorite water park. I cant wait to go back again ! Its definitely a paradise getaway. Great food and drinks! I didnt find it over priced. The rides are awesome, the rapid lazy river is super fun! A must do for all.

Went here a couple years ago, it was a nice experience. It was mostly a water roller coaster theme park in my opinion. The rapid river was amazing! They do require you to wear life vest, and its with good reason. I did feel that it was a let down, I loved Wet N Wild, but I went with an open mind. I absolutely loved going under the Volcano and the ride through it! Its a nice place to have fun for sure!

This was the best day ever! Volcano Bay is not your average water park. We LOVED the tropical atmosphere, the music, the rides, the overall theme of the park and literally everything else about this day. The TapuTapu is amazing so you don’t have to wait in long lines for anything. We had tacos for lunch and they were exceptional. I CANNOT WAIT to go back!!!

News flash: this virus is here and it ain’t going away, you can choose to stay home, but 1/2 the country wants to take risks and live life. We are open to new studies and info, and we don’t live in fear. The park is doing its best to take precautions. Fresh air, fun, eating healthy and exercise is what we need to build healthy immune systems. Living in a sterile bubble is what you can do, but not I.)

One of the best water parks Ive been lucky enough to visit. We rented a cabana, which was nice when the afternoon rain started. It also made a nice place for our family to meet up, after going on separate rides.The river was awesome, you can float around as long as youd like. Be prepared for an adrenaline rush, if you climb the volcano, the feeling you get when the floor drops out from underneath you is unlike any other ride youve ever been on.I would definitely consider getting a season pass here.

Great water park! Not really the universal studios theme but its pretty awesome. Would definitely recommend for Kids around 8 and up though. I didnt really notice much except one little play area for younger kids.

Volcano bay was a total surprise! Our first time visiting and the low crowd levels were truly a blessing. We managed to do all of the slides and rides multiple times and the services was fantastic. The cabana we rented was well below the prices that would be found this time of year. I can imagine that a busy park would not be quite as fun and the wave pool could quickly fill up, but based on our experiences on the day, volcano bay beat our expectations!

This amusement park is a really fun place when it is functioning safely and less busy. The last time I visited, I was really impressed by the overall theme. If I visit Orlando in the future this park is my absolutely favourite place in Florida. I appreciate the planning that goes into the design of this park because water rides give me the excitement I need if I cannot take a visit to Hawaii. Hope that I can go there in the future, post a COVID.

Excellent experience. Short lines if you arrive early. Dont wear watershoes; just go barefoot. Everyone does. The small lockers are $9. I had plenty of room for a collapsible beach bag and several items. The drop slide in the volcano is scary but worth it. Only 6 seconds of terror! Every employee was pleasant except the bartender who waited on a woman with her mask down but wouldnt wait on me because I left mine at my seat. The rules are illogical. My advice is, if you are afraid of COVID, hide under your covers for a few years until the next pandemic. Dont annoy the rest of us who are enjoying our lives.

We had sooo much fun at Volcano Bay!!! Can’t wait til it opens again!!!! We must have rode the ragin river 25 times!!!

Better than the studios, it was relaxing and only got busy in the afternoon. stayed in the volcano bay cabana and it was great being able to walk directly to the waterpark and see the volcano from our hotel room. would 110% go again.

The slides are awesome I loved the water coaster very cool and 1 of a kind I stayed for 10 hours would 100 % go back

The park is nice, a bit on the pricy side considering other water parks And not as big. I do like the line system they have. They give you a watch which you can scan and come back at a later time. That way the lines are more manageable.

Amazing place very kid friendly. Make sure to wear shoes sidewalks get super hot. So many awesome memories were made here!

Volcano Bay is a Great Water Park for both Adults & Kids, its beautiful & well thought out with plenty to do for all age groups. Food & Service is better than most of the other parks. Use the virtual line wisely so that you can enjoy the best rides before the wait times get too long! Highly recommend

This place is awesome! Me and my family visited on 8/13/2020 and Im guessing due to covid, it wasnt packed at all! And the employees were great at disaffecting everything. The cabana we rented was great and worth every penny. Our server Ariel was AMAZING and did a wonderful job serving us. She had a great attitude and was very quick and attentive! Our cabana attendant Carla on the other hand was a bit rude and a little too assertive for my taste. She needs a real good attitude adjustment! But overall my experience with Volcano Bay was wonderful! I cant wait to visit again.

This is our favorite of all the Orlando water parks. A perfect mix of relaxation, thrills, and theming make us feel like weve truly gotten away from it all. The staff are friendly and helpful, even though we know many of them are going through a very trying time right now.

I highly recommend renting a private cabana for the day! Simply Awesome! Bring a waterproof mask that dries quick so you can use it in the common areas after a ride. A lot of folks not wearing masks. Protect yourself.

What a great place thats well themed, has plenty of staff, has amazing safety measures and is absolutely gorgeous! I felt very safe with allowing my kids to go off in small groups to ride rides and do different experiences. There are lifeguards on staff located ALL OVER the park. There are many in the swimming areas like the wave pool and the two rivers.

Went for the first time today and we loved it!!! We got there a little before 10, no wait time for the shuttle and no wait times for any of the slides!! We stayed there until closing time. I will definitely be back!!! You won’t be disappointed

I haven’t been to a whole lot of water parks in my life to compare this place to but it was awesome! There are tons of unique slides to ride on. Some are free fall rides without tubes, some involve tubes, and there are two rivers you can relax in as well. We went here as part of our 4 day park hopper that included all of the parks. Everything is island themed and the food was some of the best we had in any amusement parks. We didn’t have time to ride all of the rides in one day because it’s pretty crowded on a weekend. They also don’t require people to wear masks right now once you enter this park because they would get wet. Social distancing isn’t strictly observed there so if you are worried about the risk maybe skip this park for now.

Volcano Bay is like being on a tropical island getaway. The slides are so fun and I love the pool by the drop slide. The rapid lazy river is so fun, cant wait to go back!

This place is amazing, you cant get bored if you try. We rented a cabana as we traveled with 2 small children. STITCH was our host and kept our cabana full of dry towels, waters, and kept on top of things. The cabanas are a nice way to relax out of the sun with no one bothering you. The host will bring you lunch when your ready and lunch came out faster than if we went to order it ourselves. Drinks came just as fast. Everything was amazing. The park is huge and so much to find and do and see. Amazing.. keep up all the hard work!!!

GREAT DAY! Awesome Family Weekend, Better Than Expected. Worth the price.

I love Volcano Bay and wanted to give it a shot during the pandemic unfortunately there needs to be improvements regarding precautionary measures. Such as unnecessary long wait times for temperature checks. They need to enforce social distancing and masks! Team members didn’t seem to know where any of the attractions were or the names of them. Every sanitizing station was empty someone must be refilling them consistently.

Such a fun water park! I love how you can check into a ride’s line with the Tapu Tapu bracelet and you can go ride other ride now rides, or do the wave pool, lazy river, or if you’re feeling adventurous, the rapids river. The bracelet notifies you when you’re ready to ride which is so convenient!

Its fun and has a good variety of food and rides but, unless you get a certain band you have to wait hours to go on rides. Its busy on the weekend so, its better to go during the week. Overall its a great place for anyone really.

Amazing water park! Fun slides and lazy river. The volcano is pretty cool and realistic and there’s also a huge wave pool under it. It’s a cool tropical atmosphere and is one of the best theme parks I’ve been to!

We love this place but the bad thing is today is suppose to be appreciation day for pass holders. We have passes and can’t get in to volcano bay. We have a pass so that holds our spot. So we shouldn’t have to pay for a single day pass. That is our ticket! I’m just not happy with this at all when we pay monthly payment. Should show pass holders appreciation for paying each month. We already went to the other parks yesterday and rode only 4 rides all day. Our passes is what helped them during the pandemic time!! Our pass is our ticket!!

Nice day at Volcano Bay. Appreciated the safety measures they took. 3 stars because we expected more rides etc. Maybe worth the original price when they 1st opened, definitely not $85. Aquatica set a high bar.

They handled reopening during COVID-19 as gracefully as possible. Social distancing was put into place in lines and public areas and they still attempted to make sure “theme park magic” was part of each guests’ experience. Was very impressed.

Its so big! Everyone loved it there,so many things to do. Wear plenty of sun block and water shoes because it is hot!

Had a great time plenty of things to do, just wished I could reserve to ride more than 1 ride at a time. The aqua coaster is the best. Get there early and reserve

My family has been to other water parks and this one has been the best. It’s spotless. The staff are well-trained, friendly and attentive. As expected, it’s resort pricing, but you feel like you’re at least getting your money’s worth.Plenty of shaded seating/sun combo places to sit in lots of areas around the park.We went first thing in the morning when the park opened (9:00 am, one hour earlier than general admission, because we were staying at the attached Universal Cabana Bay hotel.) It’s worth it to go early. No lines on all the popular rides. Three teenagers (17, 15 and 14) all had a great day. Definitely recommend!

We were there last weekend. The park was wonderful and they did a great job keeping everyone social distant and safe while in the park. I was impressed at the quality of their management until it began to rain and they did not have enough staff in place or a good plan in place for a mass exit of people. They need to have plenty of staff at the exit as people are leaving. People should not be allow to cram up together while waiting for the Volcano Bay buses to take them back to the parking lot. That part was scary. If they would manage that better I would highly recommend them.

While I love your park, I find unhealthy, unsafe and disrespectful the system you guys implemented yo give some kind of priority to your hotel guest while your park pass holders wait without any kind of social distancing. In the meantime they see a lot of people just coming through, because some kind of preference(hotel stay and who knows). All people waiting here also purchased your fun packages and do not deserve to wait standing up for an hour just 25 meters in front of your pool. If youre allowing people in already, Covid-19 cannot become a reason for all wrong doings as frequent hour and system changes like this.

Volcano Bay my first time visiting and it won’t be my last it’s a blast hand sanitizer everywhere, diferente location to visit it has lost of rides options and the lockers are a great option, love the smart watch that they provide you to keep in mind the time for the next ride and you also have access to the locker you rent for the day. You get to refresh your self and get a little sun as well. If you’re planning a vacation with your family and friends this is a great option.

We spent the day at Volcano Bay. Having our room at Cabana Bay made getting in very easy. Just a short walk. I didn’t find the early access to be useful since it took the extra half hour to get the tapu tapu bands, get our private cabana we rented set up, get over to the cabana and go through all the details of the cabana. It was easily 10:30 before we started doing anything. There was only 2 staff checking in cabanas and private chair rentals. Which meant the process took forever. Wes brought us to our cabana with our welcome basket which was amazing. From there Vee our cabana attendant took over. He was super great and attentive. We really enjoyed his service and attention to details. Super great guy. My only complaint about the menu for the cabana is there’s 1 kids food item really, pizza. A variety for kids would be nice. We felt having the private cabana was totally worth the price. The kids area is set up great and my 6 year old could go explore while I sat in near by chairs. My 9 year old and his dad went off to do the big slides. There’s something for everyone in my opinion. We enjoyed our time at Volcano Bay and would return.

All three parks were great. I feel they did it right with the distancing make sanitizer. All the employees are very nice. One in particular was Carla at volcano bay. Said this in another review but she was very helpful to my daughter and I with tips and helped us take a picture. We were there on 8/21

We loved it. Took my daughter and family for graduation. Its very fun and its very relaxing. Whatever you desire. Rent a private cabana for a birthday or any celebration. Or just to sleep while the rest go crazy on rides? What you make it. They offer all of it. Must do!

Drove from Miamito be turned away.. Today we finally got in after being turned away and my son crying for his birthday ....we waited a long time but it was worth it. My son is happy.

Be transported to a tropical island without leaving the comfort of your backyard. You can play all day or relax and get lunch and a drink. Love love love it here!!!

Volcano Bay is one of the best water parks down in Orlando, Florida. They got amazing thrilling rides. The tapu tapu watch line check-in system is genius. Highly recommend this water park.

I know its a pricey entry fee for a water park and lets face it, for a days ticket you could get a whole year at Island H2O, and yet... This is the best water park that I have ever been to.Not only is this the best park for kids and I do mean little ones, the kid zone is bigger and more exciting since the slides are bigger, more fun and not allowing adults. What this means is helping them get to the slide and then running back to see their precious little faces come out on the other end unable to contain their excitement and a rush back up to do it again.If you are like me and you want to get a pass that would allow you to keep coming back then unfortunately the only way is to get a 3-park annual or seasonal pass that has different tiers with different price points. They differ in block-out dates for the parks and perks that come with the passes.The most fun in a water park you will ever have, all at a steep price no doubt, kids 100℅ enjoying it.

First time in that water park and we sure loved it. Despite the pandemic we had a really good time and I could see that they went the extra mile to care for the patrons.Hand sanitizers all over the place which it was great! They closed their food options at 3 pm when the park closed at 5 pm.

Volcano bay is so much fun! Ive gone a few times as a USO pass holder and it doesnt get old! Krakatoa is a must! Its my favorite! There are lots of food options and there is no shortage of water carts here and there! There are lots of slides all of which are so much fun! There is also a long winding lazy river which I could spend an entire day! There is also something they call a rapid river which is so much fun! The atmosphere is so cute and tropical! I could go day after day and it still wont get old! They allow you to bring water in, so bring some because in a hot day it can fell like 100+ degrees so its important! Also whilst they have sunscreen to purchase, bring your own! Its $20 a bottle!

My family and I where there 8/15/20 we loved the park, food , services the whole package. The only thing that was scary for my family was the amount of people no social distancing and no mask. Should be mandate to where mask except in rides, water or siting in you’re party. There was a lot of people walking without face covering and in line no social distancing due to the amount of people there was. Exceptional job just please try to in force that. For the safety of all especially you’re staff even do they do a great job with there mask on always.Thank You!

This park is amazing. It has a lot of fun games that can be enjoyed by the whole family. There are lockers available if you want to leave your stuff there (but you have to pay for those).The best thing is that smart watch they give you at the entrance that allows you to wander around the park (and enjoy some of the games) while waiting in a virtual line for another game.The water slides feel really safe.There are some artificial beaches with chairs and umbrellas for you to sit or leave your things (they are free)

I have been to universal many times but not the water park ever until yesterday. Me and my friends have passes for all 3 parks and we all had a blast, the must ride would be the aquacoaster, their is always line but it goes by quick and so worth it! The park was so fun and different from any other parks I been to. It was also very beautiful everywhere and felt like we was in Hawaii. We will be coming here a lot!

Its really fun! Make sure you get here at opening if you want to ride Krakattau and the trap door slide. Also heads up lockers cost a minimum of 9 bucks so maybe bring a waterproof case for your phone or something instead

Volcano Bay is more than amazing. but Im still worried. they did a temperature check on us and a scan, then let us in with our masks...Im. ot sure if a temperature scan can check is one has covid or not (since Im not too well educated on the virus). when I got in- so many people werent wearing their masks. Im being cautious, not staying near people and covering my drinks when someone gets near..its just a worry of mine that I will go home and end up sick.

The most fun you will have without wearing a mask! Staff is prepared for everything, dining was clean and very organized. I felt safe and had lots of fun

Went to this park for the first time today and have no interest in returning. We got there early only to be turned away because we didnt have ID. No where was it said that we were required to have an ID in order to get into the park. Spent 45 minutes returning to our car in order to get into the park. We complained and the person at Guest services was extremely unhelpful. He said hed let people know what happened but he never wrote anything down! We literally had to tell him how to do his job. Then he just dismissed us, like it was our fault that they neglected to inform us we needed ID to get into the park. We even showed him our confirmation and tickets and asked where it said it was required? He responded that the website says that, even though we just showed him what we had did not say ID required. He shrugged and said we should have researched more. But what should I believe if they have different rules in different places? Such horrible communication and customer service. It didnt get better. The signage in the park is atrocious. It relies on the guest knowing how things work ahead of time. Use a tapu tapu to go on rides. Whats a tapu tapu? Guess you should have known before you got there? We walked down one path with no signs that told us that it led to water slides. We thought it was a pathway. Ended up having to turn around and waste even more time. Walked to the locker station and it was closed. Again, no indication it was closed until we got to the locker room. It was just a frustrating experience. Most of the team members treated us like we were idiots because we didnt know how to get around. Most team members were too busy leaning and talking to their friends to be helpful and had huge attitudes. Only about half of the team members we met were nice. I gave this place two stars because of these rare people and for the general rides. Theyre fine. Krakatoa was a lot of fun. But if I had the choice, Id skip Volcano Bay and go to SeaWorlds Aquatica. Its cheaper, a lot more fun, and the team members are much more helpful.

This place is a blast, just remember you need to have water shoes that stay on your feet the whole time because of concrete inside is way too hot. They dont allow flip flops or anything on your feet for the rides. Only water shoes

This is the first time we visited since the first summer they opened. The first time was not a good experience but this time was awesome. We rented a cabana which made the day much easier. When the grandkids needed a nap we just laid them down in the cabana and ordered some drinks. The park was not crazy busy. We were able to ride everything we wanted and the ability to pick a ride and get in line from the cabana was very convenient. The team members were amazing. I recommend getting there early as it did get a little busier later in the day and some of the rides had longer wait times.

Great fun and wonderful slides and wave pool. Be sure to take water shoes. I burned my feet on the pavement even though they try to keep it cool by spraying water on the walkways.

Volcano Bay is gorgeous! I absolutely love the staff and the views are amazing. Ive had a cabana and they are great for the big parties that have a few people who dont like the sun or if it may rain, its a good keep away spot.

I have never been to a water park like this and dont honestly know how it can be topped. Wow! Its past incredible. They have rides for all ages. The last river goes on forever, the wave pool is huge, great job keep guards all around, massive young kids play area - tons of umbrellas. The whole thing - top notch. Note: you CAN bring food and towels in. Yes to goggles but cannot bring in a snorkel. Simply incredible facility. Wish we had one in NC!!

It was an excellent trip to this park. First of the watch concept is very nice which helps with managing ride times. The rides are very awesome and there is a lot of thrill in it especially the freefall slide was something i never experienced before. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The flowing river thing was a very unique thing for me and it was fun. The tube rides were also not like the usual tube rides we expect. The only thing i was disappointed with was the food availability. You have to wait hours in line just to get food and if you wait towards the end of the day like 4 to 5 pm then they take too much time to bring you the food. The food selection choice is not diverse which it should be as a lot of different kinds of individuals come here. The shower area were less as well like on a average day there was a 30 min for showers what would happen on a busy day. In all it was a 4 star place. Just an advice do the main attractions first if you wait towards the end then the wait time is in hours.

This place is SO MUCH fun. Almost all of the rides were exciting and the TapuTapu queue system really helps keep the time spent standing in lines to a minimum.Pro tip: be warned that after lunch there is a rush of people who have a ready on whatever ride they queued for, this can result in long wait even though your TapuTapu said there wouldnt be.

Kinda disappointing honestly. This park hyped up their digital wait in line watches (that dont even tell time), but then it took FOREVER to get in the gate. Why spend so much time and effort in lines for the side, but lines to get in the park are horrifically not efficient? Took almost and hour to actually get in the park. The sides are fun and its a beautiful park, but they kinda just put all their eggs in one basket. Oh, and Covid prep was a joke. They did good on the Tram and while waiting to get in the park, but once youre in, everyone packs next to each other to scan their watch to get in line. Like 20 plus people in a 10 sqft space. Were good on coming back for a while.

We had a great time at Volcano Bay and will definitely return! We rented a cabana and our server Val was amazing. She went above and beyond to make our experience great. Unfortunately, due to what seems a lack of staffing we waited for over an hour for food and drinks. We arrived at the park at 9 and expected water and “snacks” to be there waiting for us both which were not. Other than the slow service (from lack of staff, not our server) we enjoyed the day and loved having a private area for our things and a safe haven from multiple lightning delays. Val deserves 5 stars she was professional and personable. She did her best to make up for our waiting, even stepping up to help other cabanas that were not hers.Thank you Val , you were a delight to have on our quick family getaway and we cannot thank you enough!

Hands down the best water park weve ever been to. So much to do! We were there all day and didnt even get to try everything. This is a good thing. You never get bored and there is something for everyone. Next time were back in Orlando, we will be back!

Great Waterpark! Their TapuTapu wrist bands are free for everyone and keep you from ever having to wait in line. The food there is delicious. Try the jerk shrimp mac n cheese and the watermelon icee!

So I went when it first opened and half the rides were broke. This time everything was working and with less visitors we were able to experience the whole park. The food still over priced and nasty at $16.49 for a hotdog with pineapple on it (yuk). Be we enjoyed the experience.

Amazing water park!Probably the best water park I’ve ever been to, to be honest. They really stick to the theme of a Hawaiian island, with all decor being under this as well as a lot of the drinks, food and rides.There’s a mixture of rides for an adult visitor (that are a bit more adrenaline releasing) and ones for children (that they’d probably consider more fun).I used a cabana while there and thought it was definitely worth the money as we could get food delivered there, got free towels, and a complimentary hamper full of fruit and pastry. Plus the shade was much appreciated.Massively recommended!!

The perfect place to chill out, relax, make some memories and have some fun when you are in the lazy river with your partner after grabbing a pina colada drink. My husband and I really enjoyed this park especially the 200 ft body plunge one. We had to do that separately but man, that was one hell of an experience!

Volcano Bay is a Great Water Park for both Adults & Kids, its beautiful & well thought out with plenty to do for all age groups. Food & Service is better than most of the other parks. Use the virtual line wisely so that you can enjoy the best rides before the wait times get too long! Highly recommend

Wave pool was gentle and active. Kids, 8 and 9, had a blast. They rise every ride. Ran solid from 10am to 5:15 pm. Pizza for lunch was lricy but delish. Suggest getting a hotel for the night after the park. Great day!.

Me and my family loved this place! I wish we had one In Pennsylvania!!

All of us had a blast in all the three parks of Universal.

The best of the parks.Would recommend premium seating because then you have a server and dont have to fight the lines for food and drinks.

Crowded, very few food places open. Its cool but not best time to come. Plus it was closed Tuesday and Thursday and they dont make that very obvious so beware if u r buying a 3 park pass

OM....... If i could i would go here every weekend. Fun place and family oriented. The bands are a plus so you never lose your place in line.

Best water park in Florida. The bars, the scenery, the rapids rice all make it unique and incredible.
