So this place is great.I didnt want to like it, not a park person but my family got season passes so I said why not.The parking is super easy to get from and into the parks, literally 2 min from my car to the entrance.The park is clean and has a fun tropical vibe to it. Music is great, atmosphere is really solid. There are water misters like everywhere so even on the hot day we went, it wasnt that bad out.The rides are all really great and the people working them really understanding and helpful.Pleanty of places to sit under shade if you get there early enough, we didnt have a problem, but can see how I could be tricky later in the day.

I received a head injury in the wave pool. The Disney staff were very accommodating but as soon as I was sent away in the ambulance, I was forgotten about.You would have thought someone from Disney may had wanted to find out what the damage was in the end.I was left with a large medical bill and we had to claim from our travel insurance, this incident certainly spoiled our holiday.Be very careful in the wave pool and avoid during the busy periods.

We came as a large family and rented a Cabana ahead of time. Ashley was our attendant and did an amazing job all day. She stopped by several times to check on us and answer any questions and despite a minor phone snafu she then went to the other side of the park to run an ice cream pail back before it melted for us. She was sweet and extremely thoughtful and made a great day even better.

Its a great water park. The surf pool is so much fun. Slides are fun but not too much of a rush, great for adults and small children. Lifeguards are all around for our safety.

Was a great wknd trip. The kids enjoyed themselves. There are a couple family rides to the right of the lockers, the kiddie section to the left, and the rest are towards the back. The wave pool was awesome . The lazy river was over crowded with empty floats tho. Locker prices are $10 and $15. If anyone is planning to go in the summer, I suggest you wear water shoes. The concrete gets very hot. The wave pool flooring is very gritty tho. The shallow part of it the waves can knock you off your feet and toss you around I got a few scrapes on my back. Be prepared for a lot of steps, lots of climbing up and down. You will definitely feel it if youre not in shape.All in all it was fun. Would definitely go back.

This water park is AWESOME! Youre allowed to bring in your own drinks, food or snacks (we didnt know that) so we ended up eating inside the park! The coconut shrimp is delicious! The fish is also really good! If you dont mind sharing drinks you can buy the refillable mug which is what we did! $11.99 as many refills as you want all day long! Lots of places to sit and lounge! You can rent a cabana for $400 which we thought was a little steep! They also rent their big blue umbrellas that are placed throughout the park for $65 I believe, or you can purchase a Mickey umbrella for the same amount its just not as big. We decided to go with the Mickey umbrella! There was live entertainment directly in front of the bar which was awesome! All of the rides were awesome! We had a blast with our kids here! We cant wait to visit again!!!!

So much fun. Probably one of the most fun and enjoyable day you can spend in all of Disney World. What makes this so much fun is the gigantic Wave pool that has to be seen to be believe. Everyone loves the waves. Also not to be missed is probably the best lazy river in the country maybe the world!! So much fun and so relaxing. Many water slides and tube rides to choose from. Great food selection. A great place and reasonably priced for what you get to do.

Love Typhoon Lagoon. One of the best waterparks we have been too. Something for all ages. The powerful wave pool is the best.

Had a blast. When you visit in early November, you still have some nice warm days, but, nobody is at the water park. I did every ride multiple times in 90 min then a 90 minute wave session. You could easily do a morning at Typhoon and hit an afternoon evening at another park and have a great day! Watch out for body surfers, we chime flying in like missiles.

This water park has it all from plunging water rides, to a relaxing lazy river ride on there rubber floats. And a giant wave pool that is not for the timid at heart. Several eateries throughout the park with several pavilions to accommodate your family or groups of friends and even tours, as well as adult beverages and even live entertainment at one of their bars inside the park. And plenty of beach chairs and lounges. And to top it off they even have showers and they provide the shampoo . All you need is your body. Disney has done it again in outdoing itself. You will definitely have a fantastic time with this water park.

A really fun day out - floor of the wave pool is very tough so be careful - lots of grazes!

Place was lots of fun. I would suggest more spots for shade but you go here for the water slides and fun in the sun. The food we ate was good and the drinks even better. We came on Memorial Day weekend and I thought it would be busier but I was glad it wasnt. They have lockers for your personal items and lounge areas to claim your chairs for the day. Perhaps next heat wave we will be back.

Wave machine is great when the ship start to sound its horn love the place got good memories of this place and the siles are great not long to wait would encourage anyone to go

If you must go to a Disney theme park, go to this one. It was not overly crowded, the slides were fun, and you could easily just sit and chill without being left behind forever. The water is in lazy river, which is so long and lazy, is so warm. Ditto most of the water slides. The wave pool is cool but not cold, and it generates some large size waves. The music was appropriate and not overly irritating. You can stand in lines for hours at Disney proper or come here and do everything. Your call.

So much fun for the entire family! Also I suggest checking out the H20 Glow Nights that they do every summer. Certain nights they re-open the park with awesome neon lights everywhere with DJs and all kinds of fun stuff! We go every summer and it never disappoints. And the cabanas are a must - such an awesome way to do the water parks.

What a fun way to spend a day! The cost of entry to a Disney Water Park is less than a day at one of the 4 major parks, but is still Disney quality fun! You can spend your whole day in the wave pool and the lazy river and be totally happy, but there are a ton of water slides and fun little areas throughout the park. This is a great way to spend a non-park day where you can both relax and enjoy exciting rides!

Love this place and love the atmosphere here. We have only been one time but we can not wait to go back.

While it could definitely bring back swimming with the sea life, this park truly is a lot of fun. The wave pool is unlike anyone else’s that we’ve ever experienced. We loved the ease of the rides. Even our timid kids could ride nearly everything! We really had an excellent day. You could easily spend all day here but you can also get everything done in 3 hrs, like we did, and be just as satisfied. All around great experience.

I went for an after hours event and it was an AMAZING time. We were allowed to enter at 6 and by then the crowd levels were NOTHING. The water slides are fun, the wave pool was the best and it was just a great environment

Its like being at the beach but without the dangerous ocean creatures and rip tides. Good music, fun water slides especially the Crush n Gusher water coasters.

Loved the water park here. Plenty of cool rides and some for adults as well. Definitely kid friendly with family like rides and an awesome lazy river. Highly recommend this spot for all ages. Staff is really friendly. Wave pool is not rough and plenty of seats to soak up the sun!

We went to Typhoon Lagoon (first visit) for the H2O nights event. It was a lot more fun that we expected. We had a blast. Really enjoyed the rides. Low wait times. Weather was beautiful. The DJ was awesome! The signature drinks were deliciousness. It was a well needed quick getaway to decompress. Well be back!

Fantastic water park! Lots of great rides and thoroughly enjoyed the massive wave pool! They provide showers and rental lockers. Also have food and drinks that can be purchased. There where minimal/no wait times on all rides during our visit so that made it nice to be able to ride the same over and over again. Great time!

It only has 4 rides! I start by saying this because I gave it 5 stars anyways & this may be a deal breaker for people that are used to places like volcano bay & aquatica. Each ride has several slides that are pretty similar. I loved it anyway. I went to H2O glow night so there were no crowds. We rode things again & again with 5 min waits or less. The wave pool is super dope! The wave comes every minute & a half as opposed to volcano bay where it comes like every 5-10 min. The drinks were good too, i had a pina colava, definitely worth a try! They had a DJ playing music & if you go, you need to try the sandpail Sunday! It’s literally a bucket of ice cream you eat with a shovel. Totally delicious. Would come back.

Although this lagoon is 25+ years old it is still a good water park with by far the best beach and tidal wave that knocks you off your feet. The rides are not as scary as other water parks but a great place for kids and adults to chill with s book or have a snooze.

Awesome park... Lines arent really long... Family rides tend to be long though, do them first or last... The wave pool is the best I have ever been in, waves are so huge, they then vary with huge mutiple rocking waves!!!... I do not see any aging in the park as some reviews may suggest, especially if you have never been... Remember you can also go to Disney Blizzard Beach same day with your ticket... Great alcoholic frozen drinks, funnel cakes way over priced, huge turkey legs $12! The electronic coded lockers are really convenient and cheap, get one!!! Remember you can use samsung pay, google pay, and apple pay at almost all places so if your phone is water proof load your card and keep it with you in a belly bag or cargo pocket... Cannot use this at Dipping Dots though, bummer!!!!!

Place needs more shaded areas and or more umbrellas for the lounge chairs. The way the lounge chairs are positioned you need to walk a ways to get to the water. Luckily we were there early enough to move a couple chairs so we could walk straight through instead of going 3 to 4 times farther to get to the water.

Great spot to relax! My husband and I wanted to hit up a water park while we were in Orlando and decided a big lazy river sounded great. Yes, its part of Disney, but it didnt feel too overcrowded with kids. There are also lots of different slides and the wait times werent bad at all. The tide pool was a hit with every age group!Maybe we just picked the perfect day, but we definitely felt like we had a chance to recharge after spending the day here.

Very surprised at the great food choices at the water park!! We were glad to know that even if we spent the whole day, we wouldn’t have to pack a lunch (which is hard when you aren’t a local,) or leave and come back.Tons of water rides and attractions that catered to all swim abilities/ages but would highly recommend this location for families with slightly older children.

Typhoon Lagoon has one killer attraction and that is its gigantic WAVE POOl that cycles between a 6-foot wave (which is awesome) and bobbing (which is boring), so definitely check it out during the former period. It also has quite a few slides, a kiddie area, and a large lazy river that goes around the park. I personally prefer Blizzard Beach because of the theming and because it seems to be easier to get around (Typhoon Lagoon is confusing and more complex to maneuver around in).Typhoon Lagoon does seem to be the busier water park, and Im sure its because of the world-class wave pool. You hear the sound the machine makes at the start of the wave and everyone in the pool screams as it makes its way from front to back. Its truly a sight to behold and experience.

Had a fantastic day here, its a little old but you wouldnt know as theres a few new slides and a coaster slide, my little one loves the lazy river and the wave pool, staff are amazing as usual the place is spotlessly clean and the food fantastic, the shark swimming part has gone now for a new family ride but still lots to do and you can go earlier and surf if you have the doe, love it here great water park and free parking is always a winner with me, theres also hundreds of places to sit, sunbeds and umbrellas and lots of shaded areas.

Another great place to spend a non-park day. Over all a great time. Has lots of counter service locations and all of them are a bit different. Food is pretty good too. Park is great for everyone no roller coaster type flumes, so pretty much all age park.

Towel rental is 2$. Bring your own. Theres shampoo in the shower (no conditioner, soap or dryer).

Typhoon Lagoon was my first water park in my life, and I dont think Ill ever go to another. Coming here during peak summer season, I noticed the place was actually not terribly packed. Lines took within 15 minutes, and snack locations are decent for a standard Disney property. The main attraction is their wave pool, which is North Americas largest. You can easily body surf and ride on the waves that are pushed out! I would recommend this place, regardless of whether or not youve ever been to a water park - youll definitely have a blast!If this review was helpful, please consider a thumbs up. I had to give a 4 stars because the area with things to hold kids and adults with a pool floating you around it is always DIRTYY i suggest you clean it 24/7 every time i go there with my family it is always filled with bugs and mostly leafs and the staff ughhh they are mostly rude but sometimes nice the chairs in the beach side is always dirty there are to much sand on the chairs

Incredible place !!! Attended the H2O glow party and it was just amazing .... the MC, the games and dancing at the beach was superb.... great music .... loved the typhoon wave my family could not get enough of it .... the last pool was ok but the family slides were truly awesome !!! You also get to meet buzz and woody from toy story !!!Our daughter loved it soooo much she couldn’t stop thanking us.

That when I went to one of the quick services it was not fast at all and we waited for 45 minutes just to get chicken tenders and Hamburg for mom. The second tip I have is that we waited for a half-hour and Leo was going to be out in ten but she was 20 minutes late. The third tip there was so many bees that I and my mother felt awful and we didnt want to eat anything even getting a drink and I almost throw up. The fourth tip which is a good tip, not bad that I had a lots of fun.

Small but cool, good for kids most rides are geared towards kids.

Looking for something different to do? Rent out this place at night or in the am to surf with you and some friends. Super fun and staff is awesome. Not like surfing in the ocean but still awesome!

Best waterpark ever! So we really like water parks and have been to quite as you however this what is by far our favorite waterpark in the state of Florida. We really like the Lazy river There is plenty to do for both young and old . Although you can have a great day it really is an experience that requires more than one trip in order Appreciate the full experience

I loved the tropical feel about this place, it really gave me the sense of a vacation. There were many fun activities, the wave pool was by far the best. Visually, the park looked very nice and well made. This place is also great for all ages. I do recommend coming here to visit!

The waterpark is a great way to cool off when the weather gets too warm to go the parks. The lazy river is a great way to just float through the park and cool down. Great family fun -its Disney!

Love this place nice water park with huge lazy river. Wave pool ... Wow 6 foot blast waves. Calming to small soft wave. Water rides and food and drink stand every were to suit your every needs. Try the smoked fish dip one of my favorites. Let me know how you like by leaving a thumbs up.

We really enjoyed our time here! We went for an event, H20 Glow Nights. It was definitely fun! We spent most of our time at the wave pool which had waves going at full blast the whole night! The lazy river had fun floats, and we really enjoyed the music they had playing. The other thing we really loved was that there were no lines or very short lines for all of the slides. That was awesome! Great night, highly recommend!

Had a fantastic day here, makesure to apply sunscreen every 80 minutes even if its waterproof as most rides have water spraying onto your body all of the time so the sunscreen is slowly being washed away. Food is generally expensive but cant expect much more with it being on Disney property but you CAN take your own so I HIGHLY advise you prepare in advance and do this. Staff are all friendly and happy to help I reccomend this place over Volcano Bay.

My son and I had an amazing day here today!! All of the staff was very nice as with other Disney parks. The weather was perfect for us Canadians! And the lines were almost non-existent! Some water slides we didn’t wait at all for! The waves here were WAYYYYYY BIGGER than anything I expected! It was amazing! Loved the sand for the feel of the beach!

Our favorite of the two water parks. The slides are great and all, but the wave pool is the best part. When they do the single giant wave, everyone goes crazy. My kids just wanted to wait and swim around until the next big wave. Saves time not waiting in lines elsewhere and theyre having the time of their lives!

If you only visit one water park in Orlando, make it Typhoon Lagoon! Their wave pool is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Brandon was made the Big Kahuna for the day. He rode Miss Adventure Falls 23 times along with his Dad. We were also family of the day at the Leaning Palms Restaurant.Our day was made MAGICAL by Lifeguard Stephanie who picked Brandon to be the Big Kahuna. Stephanie gave us a magical tour and Brandon especially loved changing the waves as he was the only one that could.The chicken nuggets at Leaning Palms were amazing.

My son said the rides sucked & majority was for babies. I thought it was beautiful!

We love water parks and this place was amazing. So many things I had never seen before like water slides built like roller coasters with sections that go UP! They also have the largest wave pool in the world. Super fun!

We visited in early December and had a blast. There were no lines at all, so we could go on rides without having to wait in lines. Weather was still plenty warm and cant wait to do the same next year.

Best water park weve ever been to and we go to Wisconsin Dells often. Went on Thanksgiving, and the water was nice and warm, best wave pool ever, my daughter, age 10, rose the 6ft waves for almost 2 hrs straight! Kids area was perfect for 5 and under, no lines and it was part of our package, the white sand was perfect substitute for going to the beach!

Fantastic Park. Loved it here. Lots of rides to do along with plenty of places to eat etc. I tried the fried prawns and a few of the frozen cocktails which I can recommend.

We had a blast at the waterpark. I love the lazy river and wave pool. Those will always be my favorites at any waterpark. It was our main reason for going to this park in the first place. The rides were nice too, some are way too short but the lines were not horrible so that helped.

It was a beautiful experience! Went on a day the crowd was minimal and it was awesome. The most fun part was the loud clap sound warning that the wave was coming at you!

Great water park the best Ive ever been too. The wave pool is what all other wave pools will be compared to from now on. Bowled me off my feet literally, safest place is further in as you Bob up and down as opposed to being knocked over. For smaller children the shallows can be dangerous as the wave is so big it pushes them back and the floor isnt smooth leading to scraped knees and elbows. Would take them out to where you can stand and keep a tight hold on them as the wave comes by.

Disneys Typhoon Lagoon water park is one of four major water parks in Orlando Florida. However the Typhoon Lagoon was the most attractive to us. We came as a big group which made it all the more fun.

This water park is the stuff of legends.Its just amazing, we went to Volcano Bay a few days after here and it just wasnt the same.The whole layout of the park makes for a fun but relaxing visit.Typhoon lagoon is included in your Disney ticket too (which they dont advertise).

A classic Disney water park. A nice refreshing different thing to do when your looking for something to do thats not one of the theme parks. Lots of great slides and water attractions. Wave pool is phenomenal. A giant surf wave plows itself down every few minutes throughout the day. The brand new Miss Adventure Falls is a great family raft slide and the Humunga Cowabunga still terrifies people just like it did 20 years ago. Also check out Crush n Gusher, 3 different water coaster slides that each have unique twists and turns...

I had wanted to visit Typhoon Lagoon for a very long time, but never committed because I think its very expensive for a water park, and I still believe that to be true. However, I had a wonderful day at the park with my son. We had lots of fun on the lazy river, the titular Typhoon Lagoon wave pool, and several excellent water slides. If you get lunch, I would skip the burgers, mine was pretty dry, chicken fingers would probably have been a better choice. If youre into soft served ice cream, get some, it was delicious. Its pricey, but parking is free, so theres that. Ill definitely be back.

Such an amazing park! It will really bring your family together with its amazing water attractions. The massive wave pool is outstanding as well! When I went it was not too crowded, so the lines werent that long either.

Lagoon is beautiful, but we would buy a One-Day-Ticket, the price is absolutely incredible! Never again! I dont know, what the Disney Company think. Thats not a company for children, like they always want to be.

Don’t go here. Only because I want to keep this place for myself. This is an amazing classic water park with the best wave pool I have ever seen. Small park and rides are ok but the place shines for the wave pool. For rides, blizzard beach is better.

The slides/flumes are alright but mostly aimed at small children which is fine but should be advertised this way. You have to carry your own raft up the stairs to these flumes which for one is a huge 4 seater one... the steps are slippery as it is never mind having to carry an extremely heavy raft with you. The wave pool is good however the bottom surface is now sand blasted and extremely rough. I cut and grazed all my back and when I was in first aid I was told its a regular occurrence. Will not be returning very disappointing for a Disney park...

One of my favorite water parks. The staff is friendly. They have a huge wave pool that everyone loves. Like most waterparks; the lines are a little long for the slides. I always had a great time. But when I used to go. I always got to swim with the Sharks and Rays at Shark Reef. You just paid a little extra to have an experience most people never get to have. Now they have closed Shark Reef. Thats the only reason I am giving it 4 stars.

What a blast! This place is great. Short lines, clean facilities and friendly staff make it a great place to go on a hot summer day.

Our family had the most fun here. It was hot and sunny so this was the best day for us to cool down!
