The Launch Bay was a great experience, we didnt have to wait long for the character experiences, and the kids enjoyed being able to meet their favorite characters. I appreciated that castmates took pictures with my phone so we could all stand together. The app made it easy to have all our photos stored in one place.

This is located in Hollywood Studios by the exit to the Little Mermaid show. There are several parts to it. There is a short film, rooms with models, meet-the-actor area and a gift shop (of course). I am a Star Wars fan and have seen the film before but figured I would try this again. Glad that I did. The film had material from the most recent Star Wars film and TV show (Mandalorian) in it and was worth going to see again. The wait time to see the film was < 15 minutes and the film was very well done. Afterward you can walk through the rest of it. You can also bypass the film and see the other parts directly. Either way I definitely recommend this even if you have been to it before.

The museum is the best part with the props and set pieces

These pictures are in the street and it’s called the March of the first order which is not an option to choose from but is literally next to this place and part of the new Star Wars themes they do. They block the Main Street so you can see them walk by you. I asked the workers what it’s called and I was correct but that wasn’t an option to choose from.

I love coming to the Launch Bay when visiting Hollywood studios. It’s immersive and so fun to come to! Star Wars fans and even casual Disney fans alike will find something to do here! Tons of movie memorabilia and shopping to do. There are wonderful character greetings that make you feel like you just stepped off the Millennium Falcon! I thinks there’s a good mixture of casual exploring at the Star Wars Launch Bay. A must do for Star Wars fans!

This attraction is really cool for all of the Star Wars fans out there!! It features a short film and then a walk through where they have many props, costumes and other cool things from the movies!! Here you can meet and take photos with BB8 , Kylo Ren and Chewbacca!! It was really fun!

Pretty quick in and out experience. They have a ton of memorabilia as well as Live character visits. The time I went it was Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, and BB-8. Each visit was line was around 20 minitues. Even if you dont do any of the character visits it is worth a visit.It was a really unique enjoyable place.

My Family & I loved touring the STAR WARS LAUNCH BAY at WALT DISNEYS HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS in FLORIDA. It was ALL STAR WARS & nothing but STAR WARS. There were All Types of Movie Props from the STAR WARS Movie Franchise, Light Sabers, Storm Trooper Helmets, The Rebel Alliances Battle & Flight Helmets, Actors Suited Up as CHEWBACCA, KYLO REN, The EMPIRES STORMTROOPERS, Miniature Replicas of The MILLENNIUM FALCON, The EMPIRES BATTLE CRUISERS & So Many OTHER Movie Props that People were wishing that they OWNED them. There were also Giant Painted Murals of MANY of the STAR WARS GALAXY OF HEROES & VILLAINS. A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY!!

This was really cool if you are a Star Wars fan. We did the meets and we looked at all the incased items which were all so cool.

Star Wars Launch Bay is an interactive walkthrough attraction at Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort, Disneys Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort, and Shanghai Disneyland Park. The attraction for Disneyland Resort and Disneys Hollywood Studios was announced at D23 Expo 2015 on August 15, 2015 at the Disney Parks Presentation along with Star Wars: Galaxys Edge, the Season of the Force events at each park, and an updated scene for Star Tours–The Adventures Continue. The attraction opened at each park at the start of their respective Season of the Force events, which was November 16, 2015 for Disneyland and December 4, 2015 at Disneys Hollywood Studios. The Shanghai Version opened on June 16, 2016 and closed June 2019.

One of the best places for Star Wars Character Meets. Lines are short and you get a few minutes with your favorite characters. The museum is pretty cool with movie props and set pieces.

Simulator Ride! Rides! Rides! Good times, don’t forget your fast-pass. I mean seriously the artwork in the lines at Disney are fun but getting my ride quota is what the parks is all about. Willing to get back in line over and over. The late hours for staying in a park hotel is the best way to get your fill of rides.

A really nice experience. My grandsons were fortunate to be asked to defend against the dark side. Made for a great and memorable experience.

Amazing

Its a great area for Star Wars fans to meet the characters, view memorabilia, shop, and even maybe have an encounter with a Stormtrooper. ;) But its very easy to get lost!

I love visiting the Launch Bay. It is basically a Star Wars museum. They have character meet-n-greet for Chewy, Kylo and BB-8. You can also have custom made phone accessories along with items that you would have trouble locating on your own. Hopefully, they keep it when the new Galaxys Edge opens next year.

Great to meet Chewbacca, Kyle Ren, And BB8. See some costumes, props, and art related related to the Star Wars Universe. Doesnt have anything in terms of rides but there is a 10 minute video with some star wars development folks.

If you are a fan of Star Wars, then you will love Star Wars Launch Bay. It has rooms full of star wars models and art, that come with their own descriptions. Another thing you can do here is to meet some of the most popular star wars characters. For example, Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, and BB-8. They also have a gift shop where you can buy great books, art, etc.

A great shop, with unique merch. You can also meet the characters, and get a close look at prop displays from all the movies.

My husband loved the interactive actors walking around. It made it very immersive. I wish the experiences within the building were better defined in the brochure. We waited in line for 30 minutes only to realize it was to take pictures with a character we didnt know. We were under the impression it was for a film clip about Star Wars.

Interesting exhibit, but I felt a bit let down. Hopefully the detail will be much improved with the addition of Galaxys Edge

My son loves Star Wars so this is a hit for us. I do miss the animation studio that used to be here. They had a drawing class you could take with an artist. My family loved it. Star Wars is taking over the park lol.

We went pretty late and there was almost no wait.

If your a Star Wars buff this is a cool section of the park. I would have like to spend a little more time here but had kids that wanted to see other things.

Really good place for Star wars fans. You can take pictures with chubwaka, kylo Ren and Bb8. Theres also some kind of museum showing light sabers, combat helmets and starship replicas. You can also watch a short movie about the saga in the Bays theater.

If youre a true Star Wars fan launch fate is a must at the entrance during the lines you will find pictures and going from the Star Wars saga movies and cartoons, then you walk into a small movie theater and watch the latest on Star Wars Universe creations and insight you can take pictures please characters like to Chewbaca, Darth Vader Etc and you can also see life scale replicas of Star Wars gadgets at the end there is a store with amazing stuff make sure to bring your credit card
