Circular flying rockets that go up and down with a lever. Great for small kids but boring for everyone else.

Review №2

We always ride this at least once per visit to the Magic Kingdom. We try to wait until the line is less than 30 minutes as it is a short ride. It has spectacular views. The rockets are small for multiple adults, it was a bit of a squeeze with out backpack.

Ch
Review №3

Its like Dumbo, but almost as high as Cinderellas castle! Its a little generic in that it lacks any branding, i.e. association with a specific film. Regardless, the fairly unique perspective it affords the riders makes it very rewarding. The only downsides are lack of AC, even in the elevarors, and tight cars for the tall.

Only waited 5 min right after park opened. Unfortunately lines for this popular ride can be long later in the day or during the holidays. My grandson loved being able to fly his own rocket.

This is one of our favorite rides at The Magic Kingdom. Lines can tend to be long and the ride is short, but once you have lift off, you can see much of the park. You have to rid the Astro Orbiter if you go to Disney!

I love this ride. You need to stand in a queue which is quite long on every occasion that I have been to Magic Kingdom. You then travel up the elevator and stand in the line a little longer before getting on the ride. I think its the highest ride at the park and you get some amazing views of the park. They might try to stuff two people into one ship, but for gods sake dont do this. I could not move my legs for half an hour because they stuffed me in the ship with someone else.

The ride is similar to Dumbo. Good if you have small kids. Would not recommend for adults only.

One of the good rides in the park. There is no fast pass so this is one of the rides where you don’t have a choice but to stand in line. Wait is worth it. As others said you wait in line and then some once you go up the elevators. We always skipped this because it didn’t have fast pass but last trip we decided so stand in line and really enjoyed it.

THIS RIDE IS NOT SIMILAR TO DUMBO OR FLYING CARPETS AT ALL. I love Dumbo and the flying carpets but this SPINS WAY TOO FAST and made me nauscious and dizzy! Felt very unsafe. Hard to move because how fast it spins, you are pinned to the outer side holding on for dear life. Never again!

My youngest kid had been wanting to ride this thrill every time we walked near tomorrowland. We ended up skipping it the first day we were at Magic Kingdom but when we came back a few days later I got in line with my two boys. My oldest (7) was able to ride by himself and I rode with my 3 yr old. Pretty zipping ride for little kids.

Similar to rides like Dumbo but at a higher level and faster spin. Would not recommend 2 adults to one ride vehicle. Very uncomfortable to cram in together and no leg room.

I Thought it was the coolest! is goes fast and you get a scenic view of the magic kingdom. the line might look long but it was only a few minutes before we got on but the wait time said 45 minutes, the staff was friendly and entertaining.

I came on this ride one rainy night since the wait time was only 5 minutes. You get in line down near the entrance to the People Mover and then take an elevator up a floor. On the next level you board your rocket. The ride is a very similar experience to rides like Aladdins Magic Carpet or Dumbo. The ride is very mellow, so it should be fine for most unless you have a major fear of heights.I did like the views from up above, but this isnt a ride Id probably go on again.Good ride for young kids, but I wouldnt recommend waiting more than 20 minutes for this attraction.

Er
Review №19

Good ride, but there could be more. After waiting on what is usually a long line, you take an elevator to the top platform and board a star jet which then lifts you up while your spinning around, creating a scene like your flying in a spaceship. Only worth it if there is no line.

This was an exhilarating merry-go-round ride which is awesome when done at night. I did this ride twice and the nighttime was more exciting. This is a very kid friendly ride.

Classic Disney ride! Usually has a bit of a wait but it’s definitely worth it!

Review №22

This is a fun ride for the entire family to enjoy kids and adults. We had an unfortunate incident with another rider having a selfie stick though. Everybody had to get off the ride go in the exits and a wait for the ride operator to cycle the ride through with no one in it and then we all got back on and rode it. This would have been fine, but there was a storm coming in and we were all just standing there watching it approached wondering if we were going to get to ride the ride.

Woderful place but I do not like paying the price we do for tickets and having to stand in line for as much as 3hrs to ride rides that has been payed for. I do not like fast pass, maybe if it was eliminated the wait time would not be as long. Let 1st come be served 1st. Overall love the time spent there.

Another fun ride for the kids. It was actually neat getting high up in the air to see the park. It moves fairly quickly. A little odd that you need to take an elevator up to get to the ride.

The Astro orbiter is great fun. The line is very confusing, because you queue down below, then take an elevator up to the ride. It has a great view, and is a medium intensity ride. The line is typically 30+ minutes.

Its a short ride, but its a lot of fun. Fair warning, though: if you have a problem with heights, or you get dizzy easily, you may want to give this a pass. Also, it speeds up at the end.

This ride was okay. It was neat that it was up in the air but getting to the ride via elevator was a bit of a pain. Luckily it was at night we we went so the line wasnt that long. Its spins and goes up and down like Dumbo but with better views.

Older ride in the park. Not a lot to keep the kids occupied while you waite and you will waite. Wait to get into an elevators then wait on top. If you have ride the dumbo ride, this is the same concept. Ride goes around and there are two leavers to raise it up and change the pitch of the rocket.

How did I forget about this ride? In fact, I hardly remembering riding it as a kid. My little one pointed up in the air and said, Daddy what is that ride? I looked up and said, Wow I have no idea and we went up to check it out!As I was spinning in the spaceship, it all came back to me...I did fly on this ride, when I was a little kid. It was a fun experience for me to have with my little one. It is moments like this where two generations can enjoy the same ride and maybe one day we will be here with my little ones little ones and we will get three generations on here all at once. Probably the closest thing we will get to someone in our family being an astronaut. The ride goes in a circle just like Dumbo or the Alladin magic carpet rides. The difference with this ride is the height. Yes you are high in the air as you spin and you can see everything from up here...so enjoy the views of the park.I can understand how I have missed this ride for all of these years, even to the point that I forget it even existed. There is so much to take in at Disney and sometimes it takes a child eyes to see the things you are missing. I am so lucky that I had a pair of young eyes with me or else we would have missed this moment. This ride is located near Buzz Lightyears Space Rangers ride. Just look up and you will see the rocket ships going in a circle. Okay stop looking up and get in line for launch! Have a safe fun flight and be a kid again!
