Neat to watch little crabs scurrying around as you passed on the boardwalk and watch the birds looking for fish. Also got to watch a gentleman crabbing.

This place is beautiful and very quiet. No fishing from the boardwalk. Not a lot to do but relax here. Very short boardwalk but beautiful.

Nice nature preserve so close to North Myrtle Beach strip. If you are looking for something calm and peaceful to do, this is the place. Was a nice sunny day, and all the little crabs were out and about. Was like watching them perform a symphony waving their claws in the air. Will post pics once I get them off the DSLR. A very nice area for photos as well!

Great crabbing and bank fishing for the family. Go to Walmart, the SCDNR website, a local fish and tackle shop, or IGA and get rules and regulations with your fishing license. Read the rules and dont keep anything you dont know what it is, even in the bucket for observation. This spot is great for photography and bird watching. Help keep it clean and pack out the trash and extra string hanging around so wildlife doesnt become entangled.

NOT SAFE FOR KAYAKS OR PADDLE BOARDS! THERE ARE BULL SHARKS, VERY AGGRESSIVE, IN THE INLET. I KNOW OF TWO LARGE SHARKS, 7 11 and 9 3, caught in the area recently. The larger one was caught and released just 3 days ago, on July 2nd. Great for fishing though!

This is a great public park. Free boat ramp with plenty of parking. Large fishing dock. The perfect place to boat or kayak on the inlet.
