The place has an apple amount of benches to sit on there are many locations where you can take the city bike or talk them back and The crossings are there everywhere so that you can easily go around places on foot. the thing is that it doesnt have sign boards to tell you that what where are all the attractions placed and what all places can you roam around. but it does have a bunch of places where you can sit and enjoy the view from there are more than art pieces placed and scattered everywhere.

This park is open... Near Statue of Liberty... Its having a fare for entrance... It will be better to take separate rides to this area rather than choosing TopView downtown tour as you will not be getting time to go and visit these by single tickets.... Awesome park escape right at the end of the city. During the late afternoon hours on a weekday, its best to visit. Less crowds and with the pandemic era, much less. People keeping their distance, masks are worn around closer circles, dogs playing amicably and great views of the water and Lady Liberty! Many New Yorkers have yet to see the WWII memorial Statue and Walls facing Lady Liberty.

Great park, marred by the long queue for Liberty Island.Liberty Island: what a badly handled event. So many people visiting with their New York city pass and whatnot, not releasing their pass only lets them queue with everyone else. Fast track doesnt exist.1. Queue for your ticket. Everyone has to.2. Queue to get on the ferry. Not everyone has to.If youre in a group of 2 or more. Split up and visit each of the above. When the ticket holder gets the tickets make their way to the FRONT of the queue, no questions asked. Heres the best bit. The second person who was in the queue for the ferry, when they reach the front of the queue, WAIT (theres a holding area for everyone who doesnt have a ticket yet). All meet up at this area (3 blue umbrellas) and then go in. Theres refreshments and toilets on the ferry. Limited seating. The best views are not on the Islands, but on the ferry arriving and leaving each island.

Battery Park is a very beautiful park where the Staten island ferry lands after you come from the statue of liberty and Staten island. Its very close to Wall Street and the architecture of the buildings and the statuary surrounding the area is a great opportunity for photography. Ive added a few photos of the charging pool which is just outside of battery Park.

Its a beautiful park that would otherwise earn four or five stars. Unfortunately the park has been overrun by scam artists selling fake tickets to the Statue of Liberty (Warning to tourists / only the US Federal Government sells tickets to the Statue of Liberty at Castle Clinton at the ticket booth/ do not buy tickets from runners - they usually are wearing red vests/shirts and roaming around and will approach you trying to sell you a ticket - the government does not sell tickets with runners). Unfortunately you now cannot take a nice walk without being faced with marijuana smoke.

Fortunately what is true for god is true for GOD no matter what name is carved on what stone. Battery Park City park stands as a memorial to fallen solders as much as it provides a safe space to sit and chit chat in alcoves framed by nature. Some people actually sleep here. There is something beautiful about a conversation at the water front off lady liberty. Weather youd like to sit alone and Cry while reading the names title and date of Birth of fallen solders and remember what you miss about them. Or just enjoy the night during the ending of the Corona Virus but whether there is a place for you in New York is a matter of option not a matter of Fact.

A walk into history here. It is a 5 star, I have it 4 because it was so freaking cold. (Not the parks fault). The old fort still stands, amazing discoveries here. Think back 2 to 300 years. Amazing. They discovered the wall in 2005. Yes, THAT wall referenced in the movie, national treasure. An interesting thing to find in this age of political agitation. A beautiful memorial to WWII lost souls. Powerful. I want to go back and spend more time exploring when its warmer, like spring/ early summer.

Battery Park at the South end of Manhattan is a must see while in New York. Here you get a nice view to the sea, and in the distance youll see the famed Statue of Liberty. Here is the East Coast Memorial, erected in the memory of all the fallen soldiers of the World War II. From here you can take the boats to Staten Island, to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Its easy to get here by the No 1 Subway. If you are located in upper Manhattan, you might consider to take the express trains No 2 or 3 to Chamber Street and change to 1 there
