I thought the building was located in a busy area but to my surprise it was in a nice quiet area. Very cool seeing in person. Definitely worth visiting for any Friends fan.

What a beautiful are the Village is , and this iconic corner is perfect for taking pictures . Just across and beside the three story house is Ross aparment’s building ( with a picture too )

Amazing experience, for someone like me that have been highly influenced by this tv show the experience of been in this location that is as iconic. I went in a lovely day, and I was able to to have a fantastic experience. Also the whole neighborhood is beautiful I recommend wondering around you won’t regret it!PS: Washington Square Park is really nearby

Whos a fan will understand what it means to be there , especially if you are from another country! I cried when I found myself in front of this building because this sitcom is just a big part of my teenage years; the show helped while I was learning English, then once I grew older, I started to actually relate to the characters... So it was amazing being there. - theres this coffee house/restaurant below, but its not central perk okay? Lol. I tried to have a glass of wine there but they were actually closed. Bummer. And to be honest, the property owner of that coffee place is missing out on a great opportunity. If he decided to turn that place into a central perk he would attract so many people!!!!! Loved it

Located in west village the iconic apartment of the tv show Friends is one of the most visited places in the area. There is a person That offers you take pictures with the figures of Chandler and Rachel for $3 but is very respectfull.

The Friends apartment. If you loved the TV series then it will definitely be a good idea to come to see it. However this apartment was only used for the outside shots, as the series was filmed in the NBC studios so bear that in mind. The neighborhood is very nice and there are several places to go eat around so it would be a good idea to come before lunch as the lighting is also pretty good around that time.

I am a big fan of the show Friends so wanted to see the place. It was really exciting to see the exterior of the apartment building and the central perk coffee house look. Thats all you get to see and the place is crowded.IF you are in the city and are done with other places on your list sure can stop by if you are just going for this one dont expect much from the building, its a bit far from major attractions so take that in to consideration.I was a bit lost after reaching the place so I walked around a bit and ended up going to a beautiful Pier 45 park on Hudson river which was in a walkable distance. If you have pier as well on your list visiting this place wouldnt be a waste.

One of most visited places in NYC. Visit and take a picture in front one of most recognized apartment in a world. And definitely visit little owl cafe house underneath Friends apartment. Two girls which have been working there that day were super friendly and polite. Go there drink a coffee and enjoy being underneath one of most recognized apartment in a world.

Its a tourist attraction but it gives you the opportunity to visit the neighbourhood which is lovely

This was a bit of a let down to be honest, we got the subway from times square and travelled down town to view the apartment.It was cool because its where the exterior of the friends apartment building was filmed but thats it, its just a regular apartment block with a small random cafe at the bottom (shocked this wasnt a central perk as that could have been one hell of a money maker and made the experience a lot better).My advice is if youre in that neighbourhood then pop over and have a quick look but other than that its nothing special.

If you love the TV show its exciting but I dont know why I was expecting something more like a small place dedicated to them at least.. by the way... basically its the building and some writings on the walls. I love the TV show but for me was exciting and disappointed.

If you are a Friends series fun, its a must see place. When you be on site, there isnt any sign that its a right place. However if you are a huge fun, you will easily recognize the proper building. There is always a plenty of people doing photo session. If you are not a big fun, its still worth to visit this area because of interesting architecture and tasty food spots like Bleecker Street Pizza.

For all Friends Fans - must visit once more . In fact the entire area has a charm , which taljs of a different way of life

We stopped by Bedford and Grove to view the Friends apartment. It will bring any FRIENDS fans a warm feeling just standing by and viewing the apartment. A nice tourist spot.

As expected! Cool corner/intersection in Greenwich village. Not all that hard to find and I imagine there’s always a little - large crowd of people on the opposing corner so you can just flock to them.Surrounding area is pretty residential but just a block or two away is Bleecker which was full of shops and restaurants if you want to make a full afternoon around visiting the area.

Not a fan of the show myself, but my wife loves it, but like other reviews you can easily miss it and it’s just a building!

I grew up watching this TV show and seeing this appartment in person was a very special moment for me.

Its a building. Its cool. Once you see it, youre done. Youll probably get more value from the restaurant on the first floor. If youre a fan still go. But, do more.

I love the show so this was totally worth it for me. Id say the only negative was there was some dude trying to sell pictures with a Rachel and Chandler cardboard cutouts here. He should have had at least Rachel and Ross.....come on dude! But awesome touristy thing to do, plus folks in this neighborhood are super awesome, we got lost heading for the sight and two friendly New Yorkers came to our rescue!!!!

Outside of building used on the sitcom Friends. Good to see, lots of crowds around but easy to get individual photos.

Its very recognizable, you really cant miss it. If youre not sure, check around, look toward the building that everybody is looking at. Its amazing that people are here so late in the evening.

Its cool to say Ive seen Friends apartment in real life. If you are already in the Greenwhich village area, you can drop there. Not sure its worth taking a detour just to see the building if youre not a Friends fan.

FRIENDS fans will enjoy this place. Its in a nice neighborhood too, do try spending more time there and explore the area.

So fun to stumble on this spot! I’m a big Friends fan, but even if you aren’t, it’s fun to see the iconic building. I also love this whole area of the Village. If you have the time, I recommend walking along Hudson Street from Tribeca through SoHo all the way up here to the Village and up to 14th St. You just take a short right on Grove Street and you’ll spot the famous apartment (see photo). It’s such a beautiful walk and a great way to see so many NYC neighborhoods. I love taking friends on that walk on a nice day (or strolling it myself)!Also fun fact – they filmed a scene in the new rom com “Isn’t it Romantic” with Rebel Wilson and Liam Hemsworth on this street right from this shot. It’s a charming street!

Not only a great building but it’s on a Cute street in a cute neighbourhood! Worth spending a morning here.

Another destination to check off your list when visiting NYC. Its very close to the Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City house. There are also walking tours that you can join which will offer you more history of the landmarks around NYC.Unfortunately, the restaurant on the bottom is not where central perks was located.

This place is everything for FRIENDS fans and just a building for others. I enjoyed this building as mush as I enjoyed friends. Only if I could find Monica and Rachel in apartment 20. Well a must go place if you are crazy about friends.

Very worth it I’m not from New York but I was in Manhattan so we decided to go see the apartment building because we are huge fans of the show ... No it’s not the real apartments it’s just the building used in the outside shots of friends (said to take place in New York but didn’t actually shoot it in New York) ! Yes ppl live here there was a ups guy delivering packages to the building when I was there I walked to the door to try and get a look inside just was curious ! Don’t try to go in you have to be buzzed in ! Very cool experience if your a huge fan of the show ! There is a shop under it it is not central perk . It was a made up shop also .

I’ve been watching friends since I was a teenager. It was great to see the building in person. There was just something good about taking a picture there.

“mind it.. all shooting did not happen here”this is for fans for sure. but locality where this building is, that hold historic importance. It’s just building which they show in web episodes... central park is far away from here.

Friends was filmed on the WB lot in Los Angeles, if you really want to see the NYC depicted in friends, it’s still there to tour... including central perk. Marked here on the map is just a regular street, it’s ridiculous to travel to see if you’re a fan, nothing in Friends ever happened here.

A must see for friends fans but also a beautiful and quiet neighborhood!

This spot is fun to geek out and snap photos if you are a friends fan. Best photos are angled from across the street and I was surprised at how many people crowded the corners to admire. The surrounding blocks are also Instagram worthy for a quick photo shoot with cobble stone streets and brownstone backdrops.

Its always busy down here. Easy to find, no need to take a tour. Dont forget Ross apartment across the road too. Also near Greenwich Village is the Ghostbusters Fire House although its a bit of a walk. The architecture around the village is very beautiful. Take a walk around the areas paying particular attention to the gardens and yards between the buildings. I guess when you are paying premium to love in the area you want to maximize your space so its amazing what people do make space to sit and relax. Enjoy!

I wouldnt have realized that this was the friends apartment building even though Ive seen this TV show tons of times. However the amount of Tourist pictures especially the one that had a friends t-shirt on I should have took me off.

As a friend fanatic, going to their virtual apartment and taking a shot is a lifetime experience. I never felt happier during the whole trip to New York till I got there. I got there by Uber but the place is easily accessible by bus. When I got there, I found a sort of a local tour guide with a group of foreigners and the surprise was a lady, saying that she is the owner of FRIENDS apartment, offering one of them to go up there and see it from the inside. However, you need to bear in mind that the apartment from the inside is not like the one in the series; the one in the series is a studio in LA.

One of the iconic place. If u are a friends series fan you should visit this place. It is little far from newyork but a life time experience.

If you come just for this you be disappointed. Make it a stop on a walk around Greenwich Village - theres plenty of downloadable audio tours. On this street alone theres a lot of interesting landmarks and buildings with some fascinating history.

After being raised on episodes and series her whole life, it brings my girlfriend to tears to see the building after all this time. Oddly magical!

Wonderful place gets you back to nostalgia just dont forget to go there in daytime the street light is positioned exactly at the intersection making it impossible to get a photograph.

There is nothing more then a building and I didn’t like it very much, it’s a place that a lot of friends shots have been filmed but it’s only a building already.! Otherwise it’s a great neighborhood, you can feel the magic passing though a lot of spots.!

Nice place to take photos if you are a die gard fan of Friend’s. The area with its trees and roads is itself picturesque. Also walkable from Christopher St.

My wife really wanted to visit so i had to follow her here. Had a good time. But when u go there, make sure to not go during peak time. It can get very busy.

The kitchen is well equipped. There is a full bath and a half bath which really helps. Great location. A 5 star on walkability. Follow the very detailed instructions the host shares and you are good to go. (Rooms have no a/c and tend to get warm in summer.) I recommend, you spend time in the hall which has an a/c, piano, guitar and books!

Like it’s the outside of the apartment. Nothing else but I still had the best time living my F.R.I.E.N.D.S moment.

I passed by and there were a bunch of people taking pictures of the building so I asked someone and she told me this was the apartment in Friends. I wouldn’t really go out of my way just for a picture of this building - but still pretty cool to see and a cute little neighborhood! If you like Friends then it’s worth a walk by if you’re in the area.

An epic view for all the friends fan, but this is a residential and quiet neighborhood. I would request anyone visiting to take a pic and keep the visit short, do not want to disturb the people living there! Another place marked visited on the checklist. I would definitely recommend walk till there since its such an amazing area in general, lot of local pubs and food joints as soon as you hit the main road. Absolutely loved visiting there.

Can you imagine being a fan of a great TV show and wishing that one day you will meet your favorite actors in real life?? Well that didnt happen.. at least not yet, but i hope it does! But on the other hand, i was able to visit friends apartment, a place that i used to see all the times on TV, and now i saw it in front of me for real! Thats a great feeling honestly.

Bit of a walk to get there from the subway. Personally I would t make a trip specially to get there, but good to look at if you happen to be in the area.
