Very peaceful spot! My girlfriend and I came here after visiting the Museum of New York City. What a good decision that was! If you’re looking for a spot to get away from all the city noise, the Conservatory Garden is perfect for you! There are a few fountains and a canopy that is really cool to sit and relax under. The views are actually pretty good in here, too. You’re best bet is to bring a friend, book, newspaper, etc. to get lost in while you’re here! Such a great spot!

Hidden gem for a nature break: come through the tall gates to find one of the most gorgeous gardens in central park. With plenty of seating benches across the garden and plenty or photo ops. I loved spending time here and just rotating my seating area and chasing the sun through mature trees.

Hidden Gem in Central Park. Beautiful to walk around and admire this part of the park. It is maintained and nice for taking photos (wedding or other) or for chilling about and reading a book on one of the benches. It is not like a botanical garden so it is pretty quick to walk around and see the whole garden. There is also a bathroom available here.

Lovely refuge from the hustle and bustle. There are there sections of this formal garden near the northern end of Central Park, just off 5th Avenue. The sections on either end each have gardens with fountains in the middle. The center section has a large open lawn with a tall fountain at one end and the Vanderbilt gate at the other end. On the other side of the fountain is a raised pergola festooned with a dense cover of wisteria, that turn a rich purple when they bloom in late spring.

This review is about the Enchanted Lights show. It is so other worldly and beautiful you will experience true holiday spirit. A light and sound show with lovely, calming music and well thought out interactivity for children. It was so wonderful we had to go back a second time. This will definitely be our new annual holiday tradition. Wish I had known about it sooner! Tip: book in October if you have younger kids because weekends and early time slots go fast.

With three magnificent fountains, my favorite being the boy flutist with girl welcoming birds for a bath and drink. And the mezzanine terrace, behind the central geyser fountain, of interlaced wisteria, invokes a magical mysterious vibe of a secret garden semi-circle nook.A wonderful place to explore and search for the most esoteric of birds, from other dimensions, the red-firey Phoenix and the eternal unicorn. The actual creatures of the attainment of longevity harmonizing with the infinite of the cosmos.

Gorgeous! I would actually recommend entering the park here if you intend to visit this spot. From the road there is a huge iron gate that you walk into where the fountain and a lot of beautiful greenery starts. Entering here will make you feel like youve traveled through time. lots of shaded benches near by, CLEAN BATHROOMS behind the fountain and overall a very peaceful place!

The Conservatory Garden is one of Central Park’s best kept secrets.Conservatory Garden offers a taste of English, French, and Italian botanical design all within the same six-acre area. The garden’s unique style lifts visitors out of the chaos of New York City to an almost fairy-tale like land.Such a relaxing and beautiful place. Especially because bicyclists and runners are not permitted. You really do not feel like you’re in New York City when you’re in the garden. It’s a beautiful escape for tranquillity amongst the bustling city.

If you’re looking for a Central Park wedding, it doesn’t get anymore beautiful than the formal Conservatory Garden. And the best part is this is a paid, permit-only location, so security will keep out the uninvited guests, otherwise likely to bomb your photos. So if you’re not into that sort of thing, check it out. This spot has stunning views in the fall with all the greenery atop the pergola, and in the spring though the pergola is mostly vines all the nearby trees are pink and flowering.
