I was hesitant about going to this place because it was at least after 9pm after we finished exploring Madame Tussauds as I really wanted to go back to my hotel room and rest but mother and the rest of my family urged to go anyway. Im glad they did. This was a really enjoyable experience. Since it was after 9pm and on a weekday, there werent many people, which was completely fine by me. This museum was so cool with all its wacky stuff and cool facts. It was so amazing to explore all the crazy things and you will really learn a lot from this place. Definitely a must place to visit if youre a tourist in New York whos probably living on the other side of the globe.

Ive been here two times thus far, and its always a quality experience. Everything they have is almost strange, unbelievable or even, out-of-this-world! But their price is so damn high compared to the experience. The thing I found most interesting was the tsantsas from the Jivaro tribe in Ecuador -some peculiar history indeed!

I was expecting a crowd on a Sunday, but that was not the case. Lots of interesting things to see and do. The exhibits varied quite a bit from funny to scary. There was a laser room, but it appeared to not be working that day. The was also a game to test your speed in turning lights off, really fun. Lots of photo opportunities. The tunnel at the end is amazing in trucking your mind into thinking you are spinning.

Tons of fun! I have been to the Ripley’s in many cities and since many years. It didn’t change a bit, but still very amusing and love seeing how the kids are captivated by each and everything. What a fun way to spend an afternoon with the kids. There was an incidence this day which threw me off a little. The lady overcharged us an extra ticket, which I didn’t realized until after we got in. It took a while to get reimbursed. She didn’t even seem remotely sorry or surprised? Which made me question, “is she is doing this often and intentionally?” Another thing that bothered me was that it didn’t seem very clean and many of the props felt a bit sticky. All in all, very entertaining for the kids and they loved it.

There was so many displays you will have to go and experience yourself. We were both in awe, curious and shocked at the many unique exhibits in this museum. It was a joyride visiting the Ripleys museum and the overall experience was quite fulfilling.Price - Usually the tickets cost about 25 bucks but if you buy deal from Groupon you can get it fir just 15. Plus there are combo deals for Madame Tussauds and Ripleys.Location - Situated on the famous theater or the showbiz street which is 34th street. AMC is also nearby.Accessibility - If coming from NJ then taking the path train to 33rd street would be best and then walking. If taking subway then you can get down at 34th street station.Fun element - I would give it a 5 on 5 as it was a wall down the memories of childhood and it will bring the kid out of you. ( Rest you can judge from the pics I added ;) )Learning - You would get to know significant astonishing things about the world wonders.Time needed - Even if you stop by each item of display and do some fun along with it, you should still be done in 3 hours at the maximum. At last I would say, it was a great one time experience and is a must visit for kids and refresher for adults.

Today was the first Christmas eve that I have been able to have with my wife after 10 years of being together. I planned a full day with her so, after our awesome dinner, the last plan of the day was going to Ripleys Times Square, the place where we first met each other.I called several times to the business, checked online, and everywhere else. Everybody told me that today the closing time was 11pm. We arrived at 9.50pm, so they told us that they have closed already and we could not go inside. That was totally unbelievable. How could that be possible? You have ruined all my night. I know that tonight the schedule could be different but, if you say everywhere that you close at 11pm, you should be able to stick to that.We are so disappointed. We usually go to Ripleys in other cities and evertime has been great. We cannot beliveve this could happen to us. What a terrible management team is running the TS location...Thank you for ruining our first Christmas eve together, you did an extraordinary amazing job.Happy Holidays!!
