We had a great time. While it wasnt huge the employees went above and beyond to make our experience fun. Helping out with photos and giving suggestions for photos. I didnt feel rushed at all yet I also didnt feel like I was waiting forever. They even have chicken costumes for your toddlers (and the toddlers in chicken costumes were adorable).

I’m a big fan since egg house first time opened in New York City. This place is a magical egg wonderland. It was so much fun and you can take so many amazing photos. My friends and I really enjoyed the time there. You can purchase egg products also. I would definitely recommend you go!

This place was amazing but I know it could of been as great as they set up in China! Beside that I really enjoyed the theme and I felt like a big kid! It was fun especially if your a big breakfast person. It was a great idea to take my son because he eats eggs like every morning. To become apart of this egghouse experiences was so fun and like bringing the food to life!

I went not knowing what to expect and had a great time. We spent around 30-40 minutes there taking lots of fun pictures. The staff was great helping us take some group photos and the backgrounds were cute! My kids liked the egg lollipops (white chocolate) and it was a fun time for all.

The Egg House is a great place to go thats only in New York City for a very short time! I enjoyed playing in the fantastic home of an egg named Ellis. It was a great break from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It is truly a beautiful experience to be in a place full of smiling faces and watch as people enjoy a magical world around them. Also, there are plenty of photo opportunities! Go to the egg house! Play and explore! Oh and make sure to make reservations, they dont sell tickets at the door.

The best way I can describe this place is that its an instagrammers dream. Its a cute location to take pictures, but theres not really too much substance to it. Theres two floors, and at the end of the first floor you are introduced to Ellis, the egg whose house youre in. The story that they spin about Ellis representing immigration and diverse heritage is wonky at best, but some of the fun displays make up for most of the dysfunction surrounding the theme.

I had a great time with my friend! We spend about 50minutes. The decorations were really cute and colorful! My friend and I took a lot of pictures/videos/boomerangs. The staffs were nice. I was little bit disappointed they did not have Eggloo or have coat checks; I had to carry my stuff around. My overall experience is superb! Totally worth the visit!

Only good for photos, not worth the price at all if you thought this would be a good place for kids. There are altogether 3 main spots, all with long line and limited time just enough to take photos. No wonder they limit 45 minutes for an entry: you won’t even be able to spend that much time, even with the lines.

Was it overpriced? A little. Did it provide me a ton of amusement and some great memories? Absolutely!!! I was there on a weekday evening, and there wasnt a kid to be seen. It was all adults; lots of college kids and couples. There wasnt a ton to do; it was a lot about taking the cute photos. But why not? There were no time limits on playing in the ball pit, or swinging on the swing or taking photos in the egg carton or shell. I thought the complimentary token you got so you could get your prize from the dispenser was a nice touch. My friend took her two daughters later in the week (on a Saturday) and they also enjoyed it. Are other pop-ups different? Sure. But its a pop-up, not a permanent installation. Chill. I guess if you were trying to take a family of 4, I could see how you might balk at the price, but for a couple of friends or a cute part of a date, absolutely! This was lots of fun.

We had a great time. Not too crowded at all. It was a lot of fun to have the ball pit to ourselves. I recommend it you can get tickets.

Great place to take pictures, especially with kids. But its just that. The installations are meant for you to interact with. Its cute. Its not a play house or anything so not sure what people are expecting. Its about 30 to 40 minutes of a visit. They have chicken costumes for babies and kids which was adorable. I think the price was fair for the experience. My only worry is that the place is going to get worn down rather quickly by all the foot traffic. Immersive installations take a beating from constant use, so go now.

Most people would think that it’s not worth the money because it is such a small place. most people would spend 30 mins there. my friend and i stayed for 2 hours and just had a lot of fun taking our sweet time taking pictures. since we stayed for so long i think we got our money’s worth out of it! the staff was nice and ellis the egg is so cute.

Total waste of time and money. This place looked so much cooler and bigger online, when in reality it was one small store front with a few egg themed photo ops. Not to mention to wait to take a photo with each prop was a little ridiculous. And then there was a small, dark, hot, dingy basement with a bunch of dodge balls hanging from the ceiling and a rickety egg swing that multiple people flipped over and fell off of. All around incredibly underwhelming. I was expecting much much more. Paid $20 per person to get one good pic in the giant egg carton.

Cute house with very instagrammable scenes!!! You can take your time in there and play with all the props! There are also protein bars for taking and a very cute free souvenir on your way out! Reserved tickets online the day before and I think they are moving to Shanghai next!

Visiting this place was a waste of my time and money. Literally 4 or 5 props, and only 1 I found worth it. The place is very crowded, so taking pictures is a challenge. I really tried to keep an open mind and give the whole place a fair shot, but I ended up very disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone. With that said, there might be some people who might find it appealing.

This place should not charge more than $5. I thought it’d be an experience similar to Museum of Ice Cream with lots of interactive and unusual experiences, plus maybe some interesting tastings . It took no more than 5 minutes to interact with everything in here—it’s incredibly small. There could have been so many better ideas. Only thing that redeemed it is the free Rx bars they were giving away and the acapella singers (though not relevant).

At first, I was skeptical about going here. I then thought Ill do it for the review for others to see. Sometimes there is a line to enter this interactive exhibit. I was constantly greeted and talked casually with the employees. Its nice to see people having a good time! Everyone is taking pictures of themselves.Though I must say, two gift machines were not functioning correctly and I informed a few employees. Apparently a token should be given to you... So if you want a prize speak to an employee if theres a machine issue.I LATER went to the ballpit and it was surprisingly comfortable while laying down. A kid then started to splash the ball bit balls on me, I was drowning!!! I sure had a good time here.

The place is overhyped and not worth the time or money! The good: nothingThe bad and the ugly: the exhibit is disgusting and border line falling apart! The eggs that you touch are so dark from the dirt and grime that you feel like you need to take a shower immediately after touching them! There’s absolutely 0 organization or care from the staff. The ball pool is not monitored and crowds of people just occupy it for as long as they want (the sign says one minute limit).Invest 20 more dollars and go see a better organized “dream machine” exhibit!

My last comment was deleted for some reason. To call this an “ egg themed exhibition ” is being generous. It is a store front containing several back drops for Instagram pictures. Between these make-shift artworks is blank space, sometimes you can see a ladder or paint bucket in plain view. Between the paintbrush strokes on the walls you call see the pencil parks that were never erased. Camp counselor-style exhibition guides said that the egg exhibit was called “Ellis” after Ellis island and that immigration was the biggest inspiration behind the exhibition, because eggs symbolize immigrants. Of course, how did I not see the connection? This looks like an end of year exhibition by an unfortunate first year student at an art school.

Totally overpriced and not worth the hype. Everything you “need” to see, you can see on their website. There are literally 5 “exhibits”, if you can even call them that. And the passageway to the “garden”, which is the basement was creepy-justlike a nyc apartment basement. The best thing I can say is that the staff was nice and friendly.

Where shell I start. It was and eggstremely diseggpointing eggsperience. It was not all it was cracked up to be. Clearly the message got scrambled; when a pop-up exhibit shows up in New York, we expect it to be high quality fun. This was a waste of money and time. Take a $20, rip it up and throw it in the air - that will be more fun than Egg House. #whyalltheeggswhite
