Soooo!Pros: Super cute activity for couples or parents with kid(s). The staff were very helpful, the activities are fun and you can do them multiple times.Cons: So there are roughly 5 individual immersion VR activities there with multiple games on them. However, one of them was sort of buggy and another one was broken during our visit. So $30 seems like a lot for that to be the case. However, the activities that were functional were lots of fun. If youre big (like me) you wont be able to do each one, maybe 2 of the 5, just a heads up.Although my cons side seems longer I went for the kids aged 9, 10, and 9 respectively, and they had a blast. I would definitely suggest this place to a friend for a quick outing. I wouldnt say plan your whole day around it because if it isnt too crowded then you can go on each experience twice and still roughly only hit two hours. But if it is crowded, expect a wait.

Yes its amazing, staff is wonderful. But the racing game is too sensitive. Needs to be modified or fixed. Yes there are many fun games. I do recommend this place as there are many places you can eat at in the area. But with the technology, small management and upkeep needs to be done more often. Speakers in the set didnt work in one ear........ Otherwise a solid fun place to experience VR

The place is a disaster. The equipment is literally being held together by tape! Seriously, the head phone piece of the headset I used was dangling off, held together by electrical tape. Additionally, one of the hand controllers didn’t work and I was simply told to just use one. What?!? For $1 per minute, or $10 for one ten minute session, I expect to have a fully working setup.Which brings me to the people running this place. I assume they were hired because they’re gamers or really love this tech. However, they are the stereotype of young people who have spent the majority of their adult lives in mom’s basement playing make believe. They have absolutely no people, let alone sales or management skills. It makes for a chaotic and anxious experience where everyone is awkwardly fumbling about with broken tech and there’s no operational order. If this place in still in business in three months I would be surprised. They desperately need some people with basic business skills.

Great place, perfect to go with small groups. Good customer service, Im not tech savvy, received feedback through the whole gaming experience and game suggestions custom to my preferences. You can buy a day pass and leave and return as you want through the day, or if you want to just try the virtual reality experience buy 10 minutes of gaming. Will definitely come back!

Be prepared for the initial shock if you’ve never tried anything in virtual reality, but with the friendly staff to help you out, you could literally spend hours at this place. Love this place! They have a vast array of virtual reality games that are so fun to play! My favorite game that they have is beat saber. In terms of the space, the place itself is located in such a nice area where there are bars and lots of restaurants. Its such an awesome place to go to after youve eaten out with your family or friends. They also have green screens you can rent out for things like music videos and you can also rent out the whole space itself for birthday parties or corporate events! As for the staff, they are very kind and highly informed in all of the games. They are very willing to help you out especially if you are new to VR.All in all, I highly recommend people to visit because it is great for both adults and kids!

I had so much fun at this place!!! I was actually curious to see what it would be like since I’ve never actually experienced virtual reality before. I was kind of nervous coming in but the staff was so helpful and nice and even though I came alone I had a great time. Staff helps you with setting up the VR goggles and other equipment. They really made the effort of making the experience so worth it. Everything worked the way it was supposed to and the games they had for you to play were so much fun! I found myself laughing during each game I played. It really feels like a different world. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking to get away for a while! This would make for the perfect date, fun time with friends or just go by yourself like I did and have fun! I would seriously go again! I wish I had known about this place sooner!!! So much fun.

There is so MUCH about this space that a tiny revuew cant do it justice. Ill try. First, customer service is amazing. Everyone is helpful, courteous and just wants to make sure yiubhave an amazing time. Also, there is a wide variety of games. You want to paint, sure...go ahead! Want to skydive, go ahead! Roller coasters, car races, even Archery! All in 3D. And this is just a tip of the iceberg. Then there is an upstairs where you can host private events and there is usually a holiday themed exhibit. I choose this spot over others for the sky diving, but the image of the ground was completely still, unshaking, while you really slowly and almost imperceptibly zoomed in, with the option to move left or right. Just looked like zooming in on a map. If there was some simulated motion or if it was faster, I dont know... So the simulation wasnt worth it at all. I knocked off a star mostly because 3/4 of the motion seats that rock were broken and the movie graphics were really old and blurry. We just got nauseous from the blurriness. We also had too much trouble getting the game controls to work right in the main room, even when staff stepped in. We went right after 1pm on a weekday, it was quiet and only a couple of people.

This place is the testing ground for the future. The owners, Michael, Sky, and Mehow are extremely knowledgable in the VR industry and across many technological platforms that influence and advance the current state of VR. The space is a great lab with tons of equipment to try out the cutting edge of VR tech. Great place to show up after the bar (heard theres a discount if you present the Mr. Purple entrance stamp) or a date spot.Lastly, the store offers a bunch of workshops in many VR and adjacent platforms. A great place for someone to further their tech knowledge and break into the industry.tl:dr -Place is sick, show up after the bar and hang with an oculus rift. Me and my girlfriend came in out of interest walking by, we spoke to an awesome guy (whos name escaped both of us) who was nice enough to explain to us how everything worked and what they were all about, even though they were booked out for an event. We told him that it was our last night in new york and next time and wed have to return next time were in town. It was then incredibly heartwarming of him to still manage to squeeze us in for 10-20 mins to let us into the vr of Google maps and VR drawing which was an experience out of this world (literally could draw rainbows in space).I would highly recommend this place to the people passing by or even the local that wants to have a fun and unique experience. Like most VR places this shop is plagued by computer issues and staff that doesnt really care to thoroughly troubleshoot errors when they happen. They dont fully train new users on how to use the controlls and play the music way too loud so its difficult to get immersed in a game youre playing because you can hardly hear it. Controllers dont work half the time and lots of games on the steam store arent purchased. Great potential but its just so badly run I probably wouldnt come back.

Went for my birthday and honestly would never go back. This place would have been good if not for horrible employees. My girlfriend and I paid for an hour each, however, it was more like 20 minutes. they had us sharing one headset but did not give us more time. We paid for two but were treated as if we paid for one. We had little to no instruction and were generally ignored as an employee spent the whole time flirting with another customer. She got much more time than she should have while we were kept waiting and sharing a headset. I knew enough about VR that I did romeos job for him and walked my girlfriend through it all. (he was clearly preoccupied) Essentially, the second slot we paid for went to a random stranger that the staff member got to flirt with the entire time. Asked her and she told me she bought an hour. When we had gotten there she was already over 20 minutes in as she was done with the first station. When we left she was still going, we got the boot AT the hour mark (I figured they would at least give us extra time considering we got half the experience.) At least somebody had a good time. Never again.
