Some stunningly beautiful homes on a tree line street. Take the free walking tour and learn about the history of the block and who has lived there.

I have walked down this block in this area many times and didnt know it even had a name to it the things you know by just looking at your history in Google maps based on places you have been in and didnt even know there was a history behind it or any historical references or purposes.

I highly recommend the walking tour. The townhouses, in this historic area, are beautiful. The only negative is that you have to pass through a few less than desirable streets to get to Strivers Row, especially if youre coming by subway. However, do not let that dissuade you from visiting. I suggest that you come on a Sunday and attend a church service as well. The best choice is the Sunday Gospel Tour with brunch at Sylvias.

Absolutely beautiful homes - unfortunate name and history though. But it looks like gentrification will be displacing a lot of good people once again. I love Harlem!
