This is a national guard armory for the fighting 69th. Also known as the 69th infantry. I go here for drill one weekend a month. It’s a nice historic building that’s going through a lot of renovations due to bad infrastructure and asbestos, but that’s expected of any old building. This armory has a huge drill floor used for parking our vehicles, and has a museum of sorts regarding the history and origins of the fighting 69th. I don’t know if civilians are allowed in to explore the museum, but it’s worth a shot to look at if your into military stuff.

The armory is a really interesting, unique event space. I attended the New York Craft beer festival there and found the space fascinating. The festival was awesome with an incredible selection of beer to try, though the hired out bartenders knew surprisingly little about the beer they were serving for the most part. Event staff was even nice and let us in early to wait in the heat on a frigid day. The space itself is really cool, it feels like the inside of an airplane hangar decorated with decorations from the regiment that is based here. There are even some cool display cases with missiles and stuff by the bathroom. Awesome place for an event.

I am only giving this a one star to grab everyone’s attention. I went there yesterday. It has been closed for asbestos abation for a year! The very nice guard told me they expect it to be closed for another year. The reviews that, timewise fir pisting suggest that it is open are incorrect.

I recently visited the 69th Regiment Armory for the Village Voice Choice Eats event. The venue is huge and offers plenty of space for all types of events. There was adequate space for people to cool off in the front, as well as a coat check and restroom. I definitely hope to go to more events here - if theyre anything like Choice Eats, then theyre out of this world!

I like the vaste amount of space this place offers. I have been to this venue many times for festivals (NYC Craft Beer Fest, which is seasonal and Wine Riot). The staff who maintain this place are usually pretty cordial especially with the number of people who attend these events (over 200). What I despise is that they only have 4 stalls in the womens bathrooms, 6 stalls in the men as well as 6 urinals. With hundreds of people drinking mass amounts of liquids it can get messy.

Love this events that are hosted here, easy to get to and plenty to do in the area (as in bars or restaurants) after your event is over.

The 69th Regent Armory is a great event space. It’s a huge area ideal for tradeshows, art exhibits, large scale events. But really your imagination with it is limitless. I have seen the space used poorly and I have seen it turned into a wonderland. The building itself is filled with history so if you ever have a chance to check out the artifacts in the front room before you enter your event, please do so.

The 69th Regiment Armory sticks out like a sore thumb. But, not in a negative way. Its a active National Guard armory that can also used as an event space. One of the biggest event spaces you can get in NYC and they hosts various events year round. Theres also tons of history here that can be found on the walls of the armory from the 69th Infantry regiment.

The history in this Hall is amazing. Fun to come here for an event but must stop to reflect on the amazing service of the active 69th Fighting Irish Regiment.

The 69th Regiment Armory is a suitable venue for tradeshows and art installations, but it is also possible to purchase Armory membership. There are various options, including Associate Membership. Associate Membership is open to individuals approved by the Directors of the Club who are affiliated with the regiment, military, or local community. This type of membership costs $25 per year, and includes utilization of facilities.
