The Bombay Club has an intimate, tucked-away feel to it, with its out-of-the-way setting, low lights, and jazz trio. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Their extensive, widely varied cocktail and spirits pair well with the menu items. Mood, music, atmosphere, flavor, service—it’s all done well here. I have a new NOLA favorite!

Was recommended by a family member. They will definitely be receiving a Christmas gift this year. Had a large group, so we were able to try a good portion of the menu. The food was amazing and varied. The drinks were deliciousness ( I recommend Meet your Maker) and strong. And the atmosphere is very perfect for a relaxed night out. Loved the place the first night I tried it, hated it the second night when I brought a group it was a complete disaster. I had the cheeseburger the first night and the beef rib ends the second night. The food was very good. The service was excellent on the first night, absolutely horrible the second night. The waitresses apologized for the delay of over an hour to get our food, she said that there was a mix up in the kitchen and would bring us some bread to help while they recooked our meal...and said the manager would be over to apologize...Neither happened. I was both disappointed and very embarrassed as I convinced our group to change reservations from another place to The Bombay Club. Not only do I not recommend them, I encourage you to go elsewhere.

Searching for late night bites and live music? Look no further. A hidden gem just off the main entrance of the Prince Conti Hotel. We were lucky enough to be seated near the jazz pianist with an outstanding view of the courtyard. Wanting to keep a birthday celebration going, we opted for the chocolate gateau with a surprising scoop of vanilla, apple pie a la mode, an Irish Coffee and chocolate martini. The drink menu is well versed and learned a thing or two about original barware shapes. Highly recommended.

What a lovely, out of the way place to spend happy hour! Just a few steps off Bourbon Street, it felt like we walked into a calm, cool oasis. We both enjoyed old-style whiskey sours garnished with luxardo cherries.

Spent NYE here. The Music was so good they had a live Jazz band so it was more low key. The drinks were all great and not too expensive for the more price conscious. The food was also really good we got almost all the different bites this place had and enjoyed them all. Portions where a little small but we had a large group and nobody left hungry.If you are looking for a more low key place near all the night life I would Highly suggest this place.

They took food off the happy hour menu.To the AGM,Please make these necessary amendments to your website so patrons are aware. I showed up at 6:30pm on a Wednesday night expecting to be served food and drink during the happy hour as currently advertised. However, I was only offered the drinks happy hour menu. I requested the food happy hour menu and was told it wasnt on offer.P.S. You dont have enough options for small bites on your regular menu. Please take this feedback under advisement. :)

It was our first time in NOLA, so we went to this place to get couple drinks at the happy hour. We sat at the bar and waited to order. The bar tender passed us many times without even watching at us. Next chair (fancy looking business man with wife or whatever) was attended by two bar tenders.. Finally after 15 minutes someone came to take our order. But other 15 minutes passed and we still didnt get our drinks. Of course we left. It was and is a shame! We had normal dresses on. I think, they simply do NOT attend people who are not fancy looking!

Best, cozy bar in New Orleans. Its like stepping back in time. No TVs. Great upscale food, great classic drinks, with an emphasis on martinis. Dark wood paneling and great decor. A slightly older more sophisticated crowd, which is what we feel at home with. Great music. Great happy hour specials on appetizers. Quiet, cozy and classy.

In previous years Ive given this place a glowing review. However, they seemed to have reduced their menu size and food quality in lock step. The staff and overall dining experience is still above average but no where near what I would expect from the price or previous years Ive been here.

Low-key one of the best bars in the French quarter. Excellent cocktails, excellent food, great space. Tucked away in a quiet corner away from the craziness surrounding it.

If youre staying at the Prince Conti you have no excuse not to go here; if youre staying elsewhere you still have no excuse. This place feels like the psychic equivalent of a lambswool glove. Tip top happy hour, occasional live piano music (of the sultry cocktail bar genre) and a great spirits selection.

I come to New Orleans a few times a year and would always visit the Bombay Club specifically to hear the great jazz bands they had there and to enjoy a cocktail. On my last trip I was disappointed to find on their website that none of the musicians that I used to see were there anymore and later found out the company that now owns the bar changed the music. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and still went to check it out. The entertainment was awful. There are plenty of better cocktails bars in New Orleans that I will now be going to instead.

Expensive and full of tourists. Booths with curtains make it good for more private times.

Came here on a Monday night. The bar was fairly empty. We ordered two drinks from the bartender. I didnt like my drink, so I just sipped from my husbands. The bartender pressed me to order something else, insisting if I didnt like the drink, he could make me anything else. At first I said no, since I hadnt planned on even finishing a whole cocktail, wanting more to just try the place. But I finally agreed to another cocktail. When we asked for the bill from the bartender, it was for the price of three cocktails! We had not even finished one of the cocktails, and now paid for three.

Such a great happy hour! Everyday from 4-7! $4 amazing appetizers and great drink specials. Ryan S made our experience so lovely, he had great suggestions and couldnt have been sweeter! Classy quiet place just off bourbon street that was a lovely escape from the outdoors! Will recommend to all of my friends coming here

Where to begin with this hidden gem. The service was great, the food was excellent, and the drinks were impeccable. I had the short rib grilled cheese and it was divine. The Bombay Club martini and the vieux carre were two of the best drinks Ive yet had in New Orleans. My friend ordered a veggie flat bread which we loved. The atmosphere was cozy and warm with book shelf lined walls and an ivy covered courtyard. When I come back to New Orleans, this is a place I know I will visit again.

Great atmosphere here in this bar just off of Bourbon. Jazz music and an excellent selection of adult beverages. They have a small courtyard as well. Food is delicious. We highly recommend.

The music has changed drastically which isnt a good thing. BRING BACK JAZZ. The staff are still amazing though and they make amazing drinks. Food is great as well.

One of the best cocktail bars I have ever been to. Upscale, Cocktails are amazing here! Live music performance is sooo good. Go there! it will get you in the mood to drink and sing!Also, its a very good alternative to Bourbon St bars for the ones who do not want to deal with the crowd and chaos of it.

We came with a group of 5, the place looked good nice and comfortable seats. There was live music I enjoyed that. I ordered a pasta with shrimps but it wasnt seasoned. Not enough pasta sauce so very dry. My man and brothers chosen the lamb, and it was also very dry and overcooked. The staff was nice but she forgot alot. We were disappointed and didnt wanted to try the cocktails no more.

Awesome spot just off of Bourbon st.We had a birthday party there and the staff and management went well above and beyond in making sure our party went off without a hitch.We were given a private room with champagne and drinks already at the table awaiting our arrival.The drinks were never empty but the plates were! Both the food and the drinks are top notch!Highly highly recommend The Bombay Club for anything from a quick drink to a full out party.11/10.

We loved this place! We discovered it just strolling down Conti, only a couple of blocks from our own hotel and sauntered in. Very pretty, sedate-looking room, beautifully appointed, friendly and very professional staff, gorgeous glassware, superbly crafted cocktails, excellent prices, a terrific experience all the way around!

At 7:30 on a Friday you shouldnt be out of your signature gnocchi or lamb. Excellent fish and chips. Excellent cocktails. Im afraid the oh so common lots of attention then Hello? Anyone? Hello? Can I get some water please? Please dont avoid eye contact, I know your not my waiter, but I havent seen mine in ages.Also please get some new china, your clunky whiteware is the same found in every greasyspoon in the world. Something like Ralph Lauren Club porcelain, but more economical, would elevate the whole dining experience AND go perfectly with your great cocktail glasses.

Great spot for music and cocktails. The drinks are unbeatable. I had the rattlesnake and it’s like a really tasty whisky sour. Service is fantastic too. We had Nate as our server and boy did he give good recommendations. Food was good too. Great hidden gem.

Fantastic cocktails! You wont regret visiting this place. I had: French 75, 73 and sunny, Mint Julep, and the Absinthe. All had top notch presentations; very classy. The food selections limited but everything is good and high quality. Dont miss out; add this to your itinerary :-).

Enjoyed our time at the Bombay Club last night. Had the the crab beignets and the bread pudding for dessert. Both delicious! Enjoyed my first Vieux Carré. The music was great as was our server Ashlee. We will be back!

This place was outstanding the food was superb me and my girlfriend had waited a long to get out food but it was worth the wait. They even had a live band performance playing some jazz music which was very nice. Very nice setting and culinary plating when we have gotten our food.

My husband and I came here on a Friday night to have drinks and listen to the pianist. Loved it! Friendly and chill service, reasonable wine and cocktail selection/price. Sophisticated vibe. We went back on Saturday for more and have verbally recommended it as well.

Good food and good drink prices at Happy hour. Dinner portions not large, but delicious! Shrimp with Grits was outstanding! Good service and an upscale setting. On a side street off of Bourbon, and that was a good thing. Sometimes the noise and drama of Bourbon street is too much.

Oh dear, we tried to escape the tourist center. Super nice atmosphere, good drinks and literally terrible food. The chef seems to have been given a fryolator for his birthday and obviously loves it too much. Some of the food was under cook, the rest cooked to death. The famous fish&chips turned out to be a game of hunt the fish amount the quarter inch thick batter that was cooked to a dark brown dust dry state. Sad!

Beautiful classic old world bar. Live jazz was wonderful. Bartenders were working like crazy. Unfortunately, they were short handed and service suffered.

Refined civility. Folks were very attentive, and it was a very laid-back atmosphere.The bourbon selection was very impressive. Youre also able to smoke a cigar in the courtyard. Cigars came from the local cigar factory and were very good.This is a very classy place in quite location. They make it easy to relax.It was a great way to start the afternoon.

Highly recommend the brunch. We went for Easter knowing it would probably be a less crowded option since it is mostly known as a martini bar. The food was excellent and we very much enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and rose. The ambience is very cool, and, although I have not been in the evening, I imagine it is an excellent place for cocktails.

I had dinner reservations for 7pm on a Friday. I was seated and greeted promptly. This place was Great. The atmosphere was relaxing and calming... like a cozy den. The lights are dimmed down for a regal-sophisticated-romantic mood. This place would be great for getting together for hors doeuvres and lots of stiff drinks!!

Some food was good, like the scotch egg. And dinner service was really good from a very nice server (bar service not so good, asked for lemon twists in our martinis and got olives). But since ⅔ of us got the fish and chips it was the big disappointment of the evening. Batter was chewy and oily and slipped off the fish -- not a good experience, especially for a restaurant in a city thats known for its ability to fry seafood. Also, the croutons on our Caesar salads were stale. This place is NOT inexpensive and can get very expensive, so these things matter a lot. Come to think of it, never had an experience like this at Bombay Club before the Creole Cuisine Concepts restaurant chain took it over.

Such a nice getaway from the madness of Bourbon!My boyfriend and i went to Arnaud’s and were recommended this after dinner. We didn’t know what it would be like, but loved our bus boy so we trusted him. We ended up at Bombay and it was amazing. The ambiance was great with refined jazz playing in the background and our bartender basically nailed our drinks on the head by simply telling him what we liked (his name is Austin). Jeremy and Kyle were great as well. Austin was not only friendly, but helped us find another bar.Would definitely come again - such a nice place away from the craziness that can be Bourbon.

Great food and staff, Mathew took good care of our Cendien staff. He was very attentive and made everyone feel right at home. Would reccomend 10/10. Really liked the food, and was hidden away from the beaten path so was not crowded (like everything else around here). A hidden gem.

Swanky spot. Visited on Dec 30th. Hostess was not very helpful in finding a table for 6...despite there being a ton of seats. I have a feeling about why that happened but, moving on. Luckily we walked in anyway and easily found a table for ourselves. Waiter was amazing and very attentive. He had great recommendations! Live Music was awesome. Drinks were insane. A very intimate atmosphere with a professional and extremely courteous staff. The rabbit was sober if the best Ive had, and the cocktails were topnotch. Be sure to ask about the history of hauntings!

Fantastically cozy little spot. Great live musicians. Friendly and attentive staff. During the right whether the small courtyard on the back is a nice intimate private setting for conversations. Vernis centrally-located to anywhere else in the French quarter. Nice selections of bourbon whiskeys and scotches. Very proficient bartenders at making mixed drinks.

Found this quaint jazz bar with tremendous cocktails! Ordered the Pisco Sour and a Ramos Gin Fizz. Fantastic! The showmanship to prepare the Ramos was great and worth ordering this delicious cocktail.

Great brunch specials.

Super disappointed after friends had been talking this place up for months (they’d visited many times in years past). Zero vegetarian options aside from the Caesar salad, which I ordered, then promptly had to send back as there was so little in the bowl, I could see the bottom of it. The server brought it back with a bit more salad in it, but after two bites I couldn’t continue to eat it. The croutons were stale, lettuce was wilted, and almost no dressing on it. To be fair, they did have a Vegetable Flatbread on the menu, but were apparently out of flatbread. Our service was extremely slow, we were there for 2.5 hours, with only having received one round of drinks and our meals (desserts were in the plans, but we decided not get any because we had been there so long already). My cocktail was also disappointing, not at all what I expected in a Sazerac. Last but not least, the women’s restroom was out of toilet paper.

This was hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in while. On a packed night, we were greeted multiple times, got seated and had an amazing dinner. We’ve got Crab Beignets, Mussels and Brussel Sprouts to share. Everything tasted perfect, and the server checked on us multiple time. Very romantic place with live jazz and a great customer

What we ordered was delicious, cool atmosphere, everyone was super nice!

The restaurant is beautiful and there was a very skilled jazz band. The bartender was funny, charming and knowledgeable, she was just incredible. We ordered food and waited for about 40 to fifty minutes. This wait went unaddressed until we mentioned it. The bartender sent a server back to the kitchen then when they didnt return with an update she went back to get an update for herself.Once they realized how long the wait actually was the manager came out and informed us that the kitchen staff was distracted. During this time the soda gun also malfunctioned and sprayed me with water.About fifteen to twenty more minutes went by and the manager came back with one of the two plates we ordered saying they over cooked the chicken and had to remake it. That first dish was salty but we were starving at this point so we accepted the apology and ate it. They compd us 2 free cocktails which was cool but only one of us was drinking. By the time the chicken, that was previously over cooked, came out I was ready to eat. Unfortunately, the chicken had ingredients, that were not mentioned on the menu, that I could not eat and I had to send it back.Twenty more minutes later they apologized that remaking the food was taking so long. I asked them to cancel the plate because I couldnt give them any more of my time and we parted ways, forever, hopefully.

The Bombay club was very class. The inside was very clean and well kept. It had a large wrap around bar with room for plenty of people as well as numerous tables for people to sit. They have an excellent drink menu with a large selection of cocktails. This place also offers cigars and has a nice patio to sit and smoke your cigar and drink your drink of choice. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to any cigar and whiskey connoisseur.

Classy joint - happy hour is a hidden gem of New Orleans. I’m glad I was a little dressed up since I would have felt out of place in jeans.Drinks were awesome, even more so considering price for a martini during happy hour. Bartender was a true bartender and didn’t just mix well drinks.We also ordered some $5 small bites - pretzel was delicious and melted in your mouth, beer cheese with it was a little runny but still good. Pork Rangoon was very flavorful - highly recommend.Great ambiance and vibe, great cocktails. I was very surprised that it wasn’t completely packed.
