Love this park. Just wish they included a dog park too. The neighborhood has lots of dog owners and no space for them to go play.

There is an evil squirrel that always wants my food here. He is relentless and scared of nothing. But the tennis courts are nice! Glad they have them :)

With a well-equipped playground and well-kept grounds, the park is an excellent place for an afternoon family picnic. It is within walking distance of several local restaurants and bars, and there is a small covered pavilion with a few picnic tables. The wading pool is also a good option during the summer for families with small children. The one downside to the park is that it is quite frequently busy, especially in summer when the wading pool is open.

Nice park. Huge green spaces that get converted to ice rinks in the winter.

Van Cleve Park really was so much fun to ice skate at. The skates are free and NICE, they have a variety of sizes. The warming room was always clean and open. The front desk staff was SUPER friendly and welcoming, and the other skaters were all nice and amiable also. A super cool feature at a local park that I wish I knew about before!

Well kept park with great options year round! This place has a lot of space for you to play soccer in the summer or hockey in the winter. Each time of year that I go here, I am impressed with how well they keep this place maintained. Definitely will be back again soon!

This is a really nice large spacious park. There are a couple of playgrounds baseball field, soccer fields, basketball courts tennis court and in the winter they even put an ice skating rink down. There are trails, a swimming pool etc... This park also has an indoor gym. There are many services for children and youth as well as a daycare. Theres always kind staff working here I used to go there as a child and I now take my friends children to that park it just gets better and better.

Two large playgrounds, including one oriented toward toddlers, a zero-entry pool, and lots of shade (even on the playground equipment). Bathroom was perfectly clean, bright, and actually smelled good--which I dont think I have ever been able to say about another public restroom at a park.

Solid Park to walk dogs and have recreational fun in. Due to it being so close to college town and student housing however, there is quite a lot of garbage in the surrounding area. There are ample garbages placed around for any dog business you might need to clean up.

Nice park with facilities for all ages. The wading pool is closed with no signs of reopening. The toddler playground and regular playground were great.

Je
Review №71

Field poorly maintained. Left field was essentially a construction zone

La
Review №72

Kinda small poorly run, but the only city park in the neighborhood, was rumored to expand into the Bunge space. Unfortunately the city is now going to let the trashy low income development run by Project for Pride in Living expanding into this space, look for more rental primarily geared for Somali renters. Park isnt maintained well enough already and now going to get hundreds of more park users who throw their trash everywhere a situation exacerbated by park staff who are reluctant to put out trash bins. Additionally the city leases one forth off this park for the exclusive use by a southwest mpls baseball team. So for a few days of use it is fenced off from local kids to use the other 300 days of the year
