The place for movie dates was this movie theater in this town. They had an audible sound and very nice and comfortable seats. The screen was wide and very clear. Highly recommended!

Old but cool movie theatre, take advantage of the lower prices while they’re renovating the Cocowalk.

Visiting the cinepolis, Cinépolis Coconut Grove makes you feel like youve stepped back in time right into Hollywoods golden age. The architectural style of the theater is beautiful and the acoustics are perfect. We saw the musical, On Your Feet and it looked and sounded wonderful.

Very clean. Nice to be able to pick your own seat when you buy your ticket. God bar and food available in theatre. Be aware that Cocowalk is under major construction and almost every thing is gone!

As a movie lover, visiting a movie house to watch foreign movies is a to-do list especially, if you are with your family or girlfriend/wife. Last week, My wife and I went to this movie house 50 miles away from home to relax and spend time together after a long weekend. I was impressed with the staff, and the food was great! We will be back again.

I hadnt been to the theatre in Coco walk in over a decade. Crazy to see the remains. There were at most 5 people in the theatre including us. Sounds was very loud and clear. Go here for a nostalgic stroll

My favorite local theater. Very nice respectful crowd comes here so you get to enjoy the movies with integrity if that makes any sense to you. Lots of demolitions & renovations going on around the whole area so lots of confusion for newbies to get around but once you find the parking lot and get inside the theater youll be just fine. If youre looking for a super upscale up to date everything brand spanking new kind of theater then this is not your place for the time being but they still have all the up to date technology. Cool thing is since their revenue has gone down considerably due to all the construction going around, their ticket prices are fairly cheap atm so Im taking advantage for the time being!

Brilliant screen, seats and layout. The sound quality was absolutely amazing and felt like subwoofer were in the ceiling.. if only UK cinemas were like this..

Very quiet with a very premium and exclusive vibe and feel to the place. Priced are also very reasonable. May not have many choices of movies at times but they have the big popular ones. Parking may be an issue at times.

Never fails to draw an audience I despise. They talk or use their phone through the whole movie, kick your seat, or loudly eat a picnic-sized meal. Sometimes it smells bad. But--its convenient to walk to from anywhere in the Grove and is more affordable than others. Needless to say, if I dont care about the movie or the person Im with, this is where date night will be.

Cocowalk is under major construction, but the movie theater is still up, and the prices to the tickets are cheaper than average. Theater itself was good, reserved seating is great. There is a bar for drinks and bar food which isnt bad.

The gem in the jungle. A first class cinema, no big brand or mkt. This is my new favorite in town. Reasonable prices, the food at the bar was excellent. They bring us everything to the seat. Loved it!

The place is all under construction all around.. you find yourself going thru a maze of empty corridors to get to the elevators and back. I used to love coconut grove and the old Coco walk area...now is all destroyed and under construction.

Matinee price was reasonable but the line to get food was slow. I ordered an entree and it was delivered to me in the theater, which was nice. The chicken was a bit overcooked but the fries were really good. The seats were not very comfortable compared to other theaters I have been to. The elevator from the parking garage was acting up but you can just walk from the garage around the corner to the theater stairs. The construction made it a little confusing.

For such a wonderful company that carries with it a strong reputation, a very disappointing experience. I was trying to buy tickets at the door, only to be greeted by a very rude employee who asked me to just wait outside, or “get lost.” Wonderful. I was truly stunned, especially given the weather was freezing. I tried to plead with him, and he just responded “tough luck, you’re suppose to make movies on time.” If they’re looking to OFFEND their clientele, then kudos-they’re doing an excellent job. If you’re looking to fail in the U.S. market, Cinépolis is a great place to look for pointers.

I thought the ticket prices were fine but to market as a luxury cinema is misleading. There was nothing luxury about the place. Carpet with a funky smell, cloth seats that dont recline, nor waiters to come to you, nor anything else. I bought the tickets online only to realize that I mis clicked, the theater doesnt offer returns or exchanges over the phone.

Horrible seating. The seats are old and people can recline completely. So much so that I couldnt sit in my reserved seat. The person in front was laying completely against my seat and refused to move.

Pleasant movie theater. You can guess that its seen better days but the staff is friendly and the seats are good enough (with some exceptions of course). This is my go-to place for movie night.

Movie was great. I think they were having some issues with the ac system was kind of warm in the theater but not in the libby

Cinepolis is located in Coconut Grove at the top of Coco Walk on the upper third level. There is an elevator or you can walk up flights of steps. As of January 20, Coco Walk complex is under total renovation. This means that all the interesting shops and charming eateries are GONE. It seems that the only thing left intact is the movie theater. There are at least 6 movies playing in different theaters. The seats recline (perhaps a bit too much), but they are nevertheless comfortable.

I will have put 5 stars. But 3 stars is to wake them up from beeing the only one in the grove and not taking care of little things. Like when you are in looking for your room, this smell of restroom spread in the corridor. Then coming inside the Room. Lucky if you find a seat not broken or place where to put your drink not spilled because you accenditaly put your arm on the side seat. Some screen need to be cleaned or replaced.Beside of those little inconveniences the Theater work well sound is beautiful.

Great prices. Buying a ticket at the theater is fast. They have a validation machine for your parking ticket and it drops the price to only $2 for 4 hours.

What a disappointment that a chain of cinemas so well known in Mexico does not offer the same quality or customer service. You have for sure that is the first and the last time I visit this cinema. All of the seats are broken from the backrest and so that no one realize it they put the trays that serve as transport for the popcorn (photo attached). Also my icee just falls down because the rest arms are also broken. I talked to the manager of the place and his solution was to give me another tray so that the backrest did not go “further back than normal”. The AC was too low, it’s summer, and this is Miami, come on! the parking lot is a whole disaster, there are not enough spaces I had go seeking a place for over 20 minutes. The entire plaza is under remodeling and it seems like you are in a maze because there are a lot of doors closed and no signs of where to go or how to get to the cinemas.

I’ve been to most movie theatres in Miami (Sunset, Landmark, Falls etc). Cinépolis is a blend of Landmark and Brickell City Centre. It’s very easy to get tickets whether it’s online or at the theater. I ordered online for the movie I went too and it took me less than a minute to get my tickets at Cinépolis.I went in the afternoon since it gets busy at night and for a smaller line for snacks. I will say this about concessions, you’re always gonna want popcorn at the movies and price shouldn’t be factored when it comes to popcorn, just get it because you are going to want something to munch on during your movie. There’s also a bar for drinks if you want to come for happy hour before your movie starts or if you’re craving some alcohol to get through a movie with your kids.Anyways, the theater I went to has the normal recliner chairs that’s paired with a small mini table to put stuff on and the classic cup holder for drinks which is convenient. I think that the theaters in general need to better cleaned before a next showing especially the floor and the chairs. Like the many theaters I have been to, my movie experience was alright and I’ll be probably be back in a few months.

This place is falling appart. We had to switch seats twice because the seats wouldnt stay in place, the back doesnt stay vertical. Good if you are sleepy though.

I love coming to this movie theater! We come here often and one of the reasons why we choice to come to this place is because of the caramel popcorn. But lately the caramel popcorn has very little caramel. We are extremely disappointed!!!!

This is a great place to watch movies. Great seats that recline, and they have a nice bar and restaurant area - so one can order food prior to the movie. I love that it is reserved seating - so you can just show up to the theatre when the movie starts.

We always enjoy movie night at Cinepolis. Its nice to be able to order menu items and have them delivered to us in the theater. Although Cocowalk is under construction, the theater continues to offer friendly service & clean surroundings. Easy & inexpensive garage parking. Looking forward to our next family night out.

Last year my family and I watched Jumanji and it was by far the best experience there could be to watch a movie. I would definitely recommend this movie theatre for anyone who is looking to watch a movie during a rainy day or even if they just want to relax in their very comfortable chairs and watch a relaxing movie.

Went to go see a movie and eat at the restaurant. Service was great BUT to have to pay $12.95 for a burger and fries where the meat was small... ordered a mojito and it had maybe one mint in it. I was disappointed. Not eating there again. Popcorn wasn’t that great either. What saved this review with three stars was honestly the service. They were nice.

Had a horrible time there tonight. Went there after dinner to enjoy a movie and the entire time there was like pounding and pipes rattling. We were on the back wall and it was so loud I could even hear/focus on the movie. Very disappointing!

Reservations are required for most shows. “Luxury” premium seat theaters are not as nice as some. Chairs rock but do not recline. Movie sound was also more loud than clear. Overall, reservation process and theater amenities were typical, and theater was better than some, not as good as others. Location is good, near many restaurants.

Nice cinema in The Grove, with a bar/restaurant on site. Its great to be able to reserve your seats online if you purchase through Fandango. Seats are a bit worn, but comfortable, and the restrooms were clean, and the staff very pleasant.

This movie theater is pretty nice. The theaters are smaller, the popcorn was great, friendly staff, and lots of food-snack choices. Parking lots are great(close to shops and movies). Remember to take your parking ticket into the theater and stamp it for the discount. The ticket validator is near the main entrance. Good time for the entire family. I will definitely go there again.

Once was a great place to see a movie and have dinner and drinks. Now its crappy food, crappy chairs and arguing with people that for some reason missed the fact that you purchase assigned seating. Management did try to fix my chair, but I gave up and told them Id rather spend the time watching the movie.

I used to love coming to this theater. The commodity the cinema used to bring was spectacular, from the customer service to the variety of food they offered. However the theater is now run down. Most of the seats are now broken, with black tape running across the seat and arm rest. Even though management have been told multiple times, nothing has been done. The prices are fair enough to consider watching, but all the while trying to adjust yourself comfortably throughout the whole time youre trying to watch the movie. The staff is decent depending on the time of day you are going to watch the movie. The night staff seem like they do not want to work there, and thus providing horrible customer service.

I enjoy Coco Walk every time I go, but they are under major renovation right now so thats probably why the movie tickets are a better price.

Great place to watch movies at its pretty empty on the week days so its nice. Also if you go to the bar they bring the food to you in the movie theater so if youre running late go to the bar tell them what you want and give them your screen and seat number and run so you dont miss the movie.

This is a review for the bar of Cinépolis, and lemme just say HOLY ****! what great service. Deborah was such a dear, my heart would just melt hearing her comfortable welcome. Food was great, beers werent flat. Loved the Experience. Love Deborahs service. Will definitely return for another flick again soon just to experience the great bar service i had today. Great Job

This theater is old but I liked it. The people who work there are nice and attentive and the theater is small and cozy. They have this deeeelicious zebra popcorn. I will keep coming back. I like that seats are assigned.

I went there with my son after his graduation last Friday. When I was buying the tickets, the computer screen showed the best seats taken. There wasnt such thing, the truth is those seats were broken (the he backs of the chairs do not stay vertical, they go all the way backwards). All seats smell terrible. However, picture and sound quality were ok, thats why I gave them 2 stars. That place needs an upgrade.

One of my favorite movie theaters in Miami. The premium seating is very lush, you pick your seats before hand so you always get the perfect spot and you can grab a bucket of beers to split among friends on the way in. Look out for special movie prices on Tuesdays!

Quality of the picture and sound was very good (standard 2D showing). Seats are quite comfortable (regular screen, not the VIP). Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Cinepolis restaurant had excellent food, comparably priced to a casual restaurant.

Terrible. There theater we sat in smelled like a well and recently used locker room. The seats were broken and the concessions expensive. Parking is a mess due to all the construction. Really it is not a nice experience currently. You can skip this theater with 0 regrets. I dont like too give negative reviews but I feel I must if it will help others about a disappointing experience and save a good amount of their hard earned money.

New name, same great movie theater. Still a great place to catch a movie where youll more than likely find a more mature audience in comparison to some other movie theaters in Miami. As always, you have a choice of premium food items and alcoholic beverages, and thats if you didnt take advantage of their in-house restaurant. Comfy seats, tons of screens, and great sound. Always a great experience.

Very affordable prices for reserved seats. Its stadium seating, however, the seats are not as comfortable as other reserve seating theaters such as Landmark or Cinebistro. However, the prices cant be beat-two matinee tickets are $15. The theater is low-key and quiet, and construction within cocowalk/Mayfair is to fault for that. Parking is validated at around $2 for 3-4 hours. Concessions are decent. All in all a good value!

Very disappointed the construction makes the place looks very filthy and ugly, I wasnt aware of the place being under construction and my grandkids are allergic to dust, to top it off we went inside theather #12....20 minutes before the screen time and we had to let the employee know the place was very dirty with the trash of the previous screened movie it seemed they forgot to clean it after the ending of previous show...i rate the place a 0 it doesnt look or feel safe to meet Coco walk standards.

American standard cinema. One of the best in the Caribbean. Since cocowalk was ripped down this place is behind some very heavy reconstruction and smells damp and mouldy

I like this theater because they have a wide range of selections and often play movies that I cant find at other theaters. That being said, of the 4 most recent times Ive been I think my chair was broken 2-3 times. Assigned seats so its a little hard to change. The assigned seats are pretty cool though. Im disappointed they left moviepass (or no longer have screenings according to my app anyway).

Pretty much what everyone else said. Place has gone downhill. Prices are somewhat competitive, but Id rather go elsewhere. The armrest on my chair had 6 inches of horizontal play in each direction and my girlfriends chair rocked in such a manner that youd think it wasnt even bolted to the floor. Additionally, some inconsiderate patron left a soiled pair of underwear next to the sink. Disgusting.

Food is great, good comfortable seats and a nice theatre overall from a technical standpoint. They have everything a theatre needs to be great but if you come in at the wrong time the staff can be unwilling to help you and downright rude at times. But overall a great place to catch a flick especially in the premium theaters.
