Gotta lose a star from me because the food is incredibly unhealthy. They offer no food for people with high blood pressure , would be nice if they had popcorn without the salt on it. The food is heavly processed then processed again, they will take your food and throw it away if you are trying to feed yourself with healthy food. But fortunately its easy to sneak in food anyway. The theaters are big great sound, the employees are nice for the most part. I lost my key and security gave it back to me... anyone couldve made off with my key so I am grateful a customer turned it in.

I watched a movie here in mid December 2018 on a Sunday and considered my experience pleasant. The parking was easy in the huge lot. The ticket Kiosk worked easily. The concession attendant was a little slow but Inthink he was new and learning but he was freindly. The theater and bathrooms were clean. My biggest gripe cant be blamed on the theater but rather other theater goers as there were many people talking during the movie and some young kids running in and out of the theater. If I was in the area I would visit this theater again. Please give a thumbs up if this review or photos were helpful

No hassle experience and above-average service service of course like all movie theaters food is expensive (I did not try movie theater food. so I couldnt tell you the quality) and thats pretty much a given Theatres are decently clean and there are no foul orders anywhere.Has an arcade the size of a waiting room.Aesthetics are retro which is nice.1 * off because it doesnt necessarily make it better than other movie theaters it doesnt break the mold in terms of quality and pricing.

Places I love to shop at very nice

The line can get a little long for tickets but usually not super crowded. Theater is clean and the seats are comfortable. My favorite part is being able to get a beer and enjoy a movie.

I hate the fact that theres no box office and you have to wait in the same line at the concession stand! They are definitely going to lose customers that way and will eventually have to close down. I know you can get tickets outside on the machine but for people who already have passes it is an inconvenience! I always loved going to this theatre because of its cleanliness and close proximity to my home but this change is not a positive one! I wish them luck.

Enjoyed spending time with my hubby. Watched Jumanji (Movie was ok) but the quality time is what mattered. Regal Southland Mall theater is a very clean, friendly, large selection of food, snacks, drinks , ice cream and even Wine and beer are available. Temp inside is just right, seats are roomy, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend to all.

One of the African American male employees had a bad attitude, while another one (with long locks) was very personable and helpful. I guess it balanced out. Lol! The seats are NOT as comfortable as Showbiz Cinema

They movie theaters themselves are great. However, the line food snacks is ridiculously slow every single time I come. They need to hire more staff or help to be more efficient.

Really?....., you have to get your tickets at the concession stand?You’ll start loosing customers this way, my guess is that this was somebody’s bright idea on how to save the company some money in personnel and increase sales in concessions.I hope they are already fired.

Last week I was going to see Terminator and arrived 40 mins early to find the ticket counter closed and the outside ticket machines were not operating. I had to wait in line at the concession line to purchase just a ticket no food, for 30 mins. I love this movie theater, Its clean and offer great movies, but there should be one separate line at the concession stand just for movie tickets only along with 2 lines for food only.Please consider your regular customers requests. The manager was very accommodating Thank you, a regular weekly customer.

Southland Cinema, a great movie theater experience. Been here many times never had a complaint.

The movie was great, however, the room wasnt even cleaned before the movie started. Super sticky floors. I got movie tickets for Christmas and upset that I used them at this location.

I like this movie theater. It has a big stadium seating kept clean, and theres not big crowds so theres always a good seat

1 star because the system doesnt allow you to rate lower. I arrived to the regal at Southland to find out the ticket window is closed. I went to the concession and it had long lines 30 min wait. Consider having lines for ticket purchase only.By the way clean the theater.

I come here a few times a week. Theaters clean, plenty of variety in movies, popcorn is usually on point. Only thing lacking is management. Be prepared to wait a long time to buy a ticket. Location is never staffed properly and management is rarely where they need to be. I dont know if its a localized problem or if corporate has unrealistic expectations with staffing. Its friday night at primetime and theres 3 people working the front, including tickets and refreshments. Management is no where to be seen.

The lines at the concession stands are way too long and understaffed. Once you get past that, the theatres are nice and clean and the chairs are comfortable.

I have always had an issue with the place at night. Even though it is quite lite there are not enough security patroling the areas. The mall is huge. The parking lot even bigger. The movie theater closed way after the mall and yet the patroling is minimum

Not bad, cheap tickets early on Tuesdays. Beer and wine available at movie theater prices. Other than that good experience. Update: I can truly appreciate how a company like regal can take all matter seriously no matter how small. Great customer service.

The ticket was shut down, the automatic ticket machine wasnt working properly after standing in line for 25 minutes for one ticket machine to be advised by manager (who was extremely nice and apologetic) that er had to purchase online or at concession stand which we had to wait another 30 minutes. we missed our allotted movie tine and then had to wait for another time (2hrs later). Extremely disappointed. So many upset customers. i hope corporate gets it together. this theater is going to loose lots of people.

Whoever decided that buying tickets and getting food at the same time was a great idea needs to be fired immediately! You wait in long lines just to buy a ticket. You have to come extra early so you dont miss the beginning of your movie. Who wants to do that.

I’ve been to this location before and didn’t have an issue but on Oct 3,2019 I was treated VERY rude. I purchased two tickets to movie few days before for me and my daughter now rewind to October 3 I realize my son was over the age limit and no longer could get into the movies for free so I went into the app “REGAL “ and purchased his “child ticket” we get to the movie theater and this is what I didn’t appreciate and this theater needs to do training on respecting customers at all times. I came up to the lady sitting in the middle that collects the tickets and began to ask if I’m able to go into the theater where our movie was playing 30mins early only because I want my kids to sit down so I could buy the food. The lady started speaking loud to me embarrassing me in front of other customers saying “ you can’t take him into this movie he’s not old enough “ the issue wasn’t what I wasn’t able to do the issue was how I was treated in the Situation. All she had to do was speak to me not everyone that walking in the direction or other directions were looking because she was loud. I felt like a child. I asked for a manager and she sends me down the walk away and say wait down there loudly “ she will be coming from that direction “ as the guy comes over he comes from where she’s sitting and she’s loud then saying she’s down there.I explained to the gentlemen when I purchased my tickets it two separate times and when I did the “child ticket” nothing popped up stating age Restrictions or even asking the age of the child. and if my son is with me why can’t we see the movie. All he said was he can’t see it. No one asked me to see ID to see my age. So I asked for a refund if we couldn’t see the movie. He began to do whatever so I could get the refunds I only received one refund which was for me and my daughter ticket and still haven’t receive the other refund for my sons ticket isn’t that coincidental. I tried calling but once I get on the phone and explain I’m waiting for a refund the young lady says she’s getting the manager and they just leave you on hold. VERY messy customer service skills.It was no need for the lady to try and embarrass me like that it’s ways to talk to people she was loud with me as if we were fighting and we weren’t. She needs training and I still want my refund. Been waiting manager said it should only take 3-4 days from October 3, 2019

This movie theater is like every other one. If you go to watch a movie you wont be disappointed. However if you live down south this one is a better choice then flagship theaters in homestead. You can purchase tickets online, and they have self-ticket booths where you can buy tickets yourself if the line is to long. On big movie release days however I would recommend coming early of you want popcorn and if you want the quickest experience buy your tickets online via the Fandango app is definitely the quickest way. All in all my experience was great, I didnt have to deal with the staff at all unless I wanted to, so cannot comment on their customer service. I will definitely be coming back again.

We went with our two boys on a Sunday at 4:15pm, no lines. It was clean, great sound and have comfortable seat. The staff at the concessions should be more friendly. Great overall experience.

Well my friend whos the movie pass holder convinced me to go to the movies but now I remember why I rather go to AMC in sunset place just because we live in the hood dont mean we have to act ghetto.A mother was on her phone the entire time 2 rows ahead of us while her 3 children jump talked and walked back-and-forth in front of us at least 6 times. When we spoke to the manager on duty whole say Joseph montesino he acted like we were the inconvenience and R man before he got to us 20 minutes later he made it seem like we are the ones who were acting up he said he could not control the people who quit or on a holiday week and he was trying to do the best that he can I told him I was in faulting him but you know its management who should have checked on the movie theater and he flipped his little attitude and here I am revealin

I come here almost every week. Great place nice and cozy. Most of the attendants are very friendly. The seats are very comfortable and the theater is pretty clean (so are the bathrooms).

Horrible!!! They only had concessions available to buy tickets. Four employees behind the counter but only one line open to sale food and tickets...makes no sense!!! The manager Jonathan didn’t do anything about it. This place is horrible!! Don’t waste your time going to this theater. They don’t care if you miss your movie...you are about to spend your time in one line.

Even thought is is a small mall and some of the stores are close, I find this mall nice, clean, and full of energy.

Nice place to watch movies, cheaper price on Tuesdays. Buying drinks and popcorn could be a little over priced. Overall, Regal is a clean place to enjoy a nice movie with family and friends.

So I bought my movie tickets online to save time but when I got there was nobody in the ticket booth there was only 1 manager running around help detouring the people that needed to buy ticket to the machine. theres was few old people complaining because they didnt know how to use the machine to purchase the tickets big line unneccessary of there would of been a person in the ticket booth. And since everyone needed to buy or obtained there tickets thru that machine it was ridiculous!!. Thats the last time I go there. The manager was saying its a cooperate decision not to have a person working the ticket booth.

Very nice movie theater with comfortable seats eith a slight recline. Theater usually has low traffic too due to location with the exception of new releases with a good variety of time showings. Overall great experiences all the years Ive been I highly recommend.

This was the first all-digital movie theatre when built about 10 years ago. It needs an update and looks more like a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant than it should. Speakers in many of the theatres are also worn and need to be either swapped out or retuned.

Games are great for quick entertainment before a movie. Prices are actually pretty good compared to most theatres these days. I have never had a bad experience with any employees here either, they are always friendly and helpful. I always pick this movie theatre over any.

At this place things go as slow as a turtle. This is a friday night, empty theatre and service was soooo slugish. First I got concernes, I have never seen an armed police officer receiving customers, that made think... it is a good precaution specially in this time of the year, but I still felt danger even more with my kids around. Second..... there was ... I repeat empry place there two cahiers when I approached to one this person told me ohg no I am closed then I had to go all the way down to where the other register was opened. At last we made to the movies..... it was extremely cold evenmore with an empty room. I requested twice to have the AC adjusted but still the boy... employee of the place was too entertained darwing so.ething and he told me... that is probably been taken care off. We spent 2 hrs freezing in that room andno o e cared to adjust temperature. This is the closest theater to my house but I am willing to travel couple of miles t moreo t to t a treatment I me and my kids deserve. I would have given 0 star but the fact that a security is there and seats are comfi that makes my 2 stars.

Safest cinema in the whole area. They have police on duty in case anyone gets out of hand. Quick lines at the box office and concession counters. Great deals when your a Regal club member. You can get something to eat at the malls food court before your show. Bathrooms are always clean. Picture quality and sound are perfect. I recommend getting the $50 gift cards, they are a good deal.

Nice layout. Comfortable seats and many spacious auditoriums. The theater was relatively clean. The alcoholic beverages are priced like most local bars. Quite matinee at a long standing theater.

Its ok at times they dont have anyone on front so you have to wait in the concessions line even if you are not buying food to get tickets.

Awful. Everyone there was so rude. We had an issue and my father needed to rush out of theater and we were kicked out because of him leaving. Yes I understand it was rated R and without him my sister couldn’t stay. But they could have been polite but treated us has if we done something horribly wrong. The manager walked in and told us to leave and let us go see lion king but he did not tell us the movie had started. I then asked for a refund but he was arguing with me as if I hadn’t purchased 5 tickets when there were 4 of us. I had receipts that proved my father did enter with us (who was the fifth ticket) he then gave me attitude and said “ok I’ll just give you a ticket refund” in the rudest voice. It took him 45 minutes to give us the refund and when he was done he did not even give us the chance to pack up and asked “is there anything else” again in a RUDE voice. Awful theater. I will never again encourage people to go to southland.

Just a year ago I wrote a starkly different review, I still stand by it because it was obviously a different time. [1 yr ago, 4 stars I wrote: Over priced concessions... But who doesnt know that? Great place to kill time and walk around if you are waiting for a movie. The area also offers other food options that would mean a better bang for your buck. ]The effects of gentrification, corporate buy backs of their own stocks etc. are so eerily visible. This mall used to be such a wonderful lively place to visit. The theater used to be the literal center of it all.The service here has diminished to unrecognizable levels. Please do not misunderstand, I do not for one minute believe it to be the staffs fault at all. Stores are closing left and right. Concession stands are collecting dust in the middle of hallways. I can only imagine the pure dread that the employees must be feeling, so the lack of motivation and drive to serve customers is a given. I am sorry to all them and I hope to see changes for the better soon.#VOTE

I’ve been coming to this movie theater for as long as I remember, almost forever. It is my first choice when I want to go watch a movie with friends/family and the seats are comfortable, the arm rests are adjustable (which I love) and it’s homie. Never a bad time at the theatre.

I love the theater experience! The concession needs lots of work. The workers are slow paced even during the peak times the seem tired and none energetic. Training is needed also runners would help during peak times and days. FOR EXAMPLE Tuesday all day. THURSDAY EVENINGS AND ALL WEEKENDS. THERE NEEDS TO BE A CHANGE! IN THEIR SERVICE! We saw Angel has fallen. It was good. We had churros and a coke icee. The staff were good bit learly werent happy to be there. It was clean bit also pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon.

I usually havent had a problem here, unless it is a premier evening of a major movie.However, the one evening I do not go with my children, one having Austism but technically an adult (18), the worst experience.Storm hit and the movie cut out at the very end and they could not figure out where to go to get a refund, with all the chaos my son with autism began to have a meltdown. (Not having one on months).When it happened in Homestead and a little theater in Missouri, they walked in with vouchers.Do you think anyone helped with concern so maybe the other ones could get their refunds no. Just horrible stares as usual, even from the staff. So they didnt get a refund either. Nearly 3 hours to miss the ending.Do not allow your children to go alone here because they obviously do not care.

Staff is always the best, parking plenty, and honestly probably one of the cleaner places for awhile.Only issue is now and then concessions could not handle demand like EndGame put on them. Everything was out or broken the day after movie released.
