Yassss Beach!! This was the perfect spot for the day. We parked near the Sunset restaurant and walked south on the beach. When we reached the outcropping off rocks, we decided to climb through (wear your shoes!). On the other side was the most unique small stretch of beach that was the ideal place for a quick jump in the water. Then climbed back to the main beach and setup camp for the day. Can’t wait to return!

An easy commute from LA, this Yankee was enthralled with the vistas, previously only seen in the movies! Parking was easy, and the beach was wide and clean (it certainly wasnt littered by sea shells, which this easterner thought was interesting). The water was cool and clean, and small whales swam parallel to the shore. We could hear them exhale as they surfaced! We strolled, scarcely able to believe that we were there. It still could have been, but I have pictures. Go.

Great little stop off point from PCH with a small dirt parking lot and enough shoulder space for additional parking. As a note, at high tide theres really no accessible beach as the water comes right up to the rocks at the edge of the roadway.

Its a nice stop to breathe once and awhile, also a warning to others with loose pockets, be careful cause your things will fall into a hole in the rocks. Bad for you and the environment.

Not much other than a turnout and strip of coastline, but great views of Santa Monica from the Malibu area.

Ch

Its not really a beach you go to for relaxation. Nowhere to bring beach chairs and all of the other things you bring to a beach. Its just one of those beaches you pull over for and stand and or sit on the rocks and just enjoy the sounds of the water.

Like the uncontrolled parking for RVs and close proximity to a small sand beach beyond the boulders but a beach is a beach. Lots of traffic and sounds like youre parked on the freeway but it gets better late night. Summer time this highway 1 is a nightmare from Malibu to Santa Monica. Stay away

Jo
Review №58

They allow dogs, for what its worth, on a very shallow and rocky beach. Watch the weather/tide report so you can show up during low tide and walk on the sand, as high tide wont leave you any available area to enjoy. LA doesnt give dog lovers many options, so take what you can get. There are a number of nice restaurant options in the area, some upscale, but Reel Inn stands out from the crowd for a pet friendly outdoor dining area, amazing food, relaxed decor, and prices that the more well influenced would pay double for the same quality food else where.

Being from Venice Im accustomed to longer, much broader shorelines. It was a really condensed area for picnicking, sunbathing, swimming, those who wanted to set up tents. I felt really crowded, pretty much at every turn. However the one caveat, unlike Venice they have paddle boarding and kayaking for rental, or you could bring your own paddle board. For me, the highlight of my experience was kayaking, it was so much fun! You have options on one to two seaters. The rental was $25 an hour. Trust me you can cover alot of area in an hour. They had accessible restrooms and plenty of trash cans. Overall I did have a good time, a great experience. Although a little too crowded and condensed for me.
