Its a great place to snap some photos and overall the artwork is beautiful. Hopefully they decide to keep it there for years to come. One thing I didnt like was how theres too many people there who are taking professional photos or trying to film a music video or something.

I photographed a wedding at the Adamson House last summer and I have to say that it is one of my favorite venues! The property is right along the coast so theres automatically a really nice view and the architecture of the home makes it a beautiful place for a wedding. The ceremony was held on a big lawn under an oak tree, the cocktail hour was in the courtyard area at the front of the home, and the reception was in the back yard area. Theres lots of space if you plan to have an event here! Ive heard that they may be a bit strict with some rules, but thats in order to protect the property from damage and keep it nice for other visitors. You can visit the grounds for free anytime the property is open to the public but to see inside you have to schedule a tour. Parking is a bit limited but for events there are lots nearby that are available to rent and you can shuttle guests in from there. I cant wait to photograph another wedding here! Adamson House Museum is a historic home and garden set along the beautiful Malibu coastline owned by the Ringe-Adamson family. This house is rich in history and architecture. The house, all 5,000 square-foot, sits on a 13,000 acres of land with majestic pacific ocean view. We took the guided tour for $7 bucks per person. Our tour guide, Marilyn, was exceptionally knowledgable, professional and fun. We toured the whole house and its outdoor compound. We truly enjoyed and spend 1.5 hours touring this historic house. Free street or paid parking ($6 bucks) is available. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I highly recommend you visit AHM.

Great place to visit and learn about LAs history and in particular Malibu. I would recommend to take the guided tour to the inside of the house (small fee applies). Note that pictures inside the place are not allowed, but the elaborate tile work is impressive.

National landmark. Place with lots of history. Thanks goodness Malibu Historical society won over eminent domain, otherwise this museum with 13 acres beautiful grounds would be parking lot️/ crazy LA officials wanted it!/. Largest exhibits of tile work all throughout the house. House built in Revival and Moorish style and its amazing how 1929 era is so well preserved. You can also see dogs s spa outside where they bathed their pups. Good to have a tour. Always loved this place. Beautiful ocean views too.

I come here often, there is a good reason for that. The little house museum is very inspiring with its design and tile work. Nice gardens include original Mrs. Adamsons roses that seem to bloom year round. The lagoon and birds can be viewed from here as well. I suggest visiting here and another one or two historic places on the same day to get the full scope of historical significance. King Gillette Ranch is about 15 minutes away and Los Olivos Adobe is about 35 minutes drive from here.

Beautiful building love the gardens great view of the beach has a picnic area with one picnic table. Over by the pool another built in seating area. They do give tours if you call and reserve on certain days. Of you just stop by it is still a great place to visit. There is paid parking there. How ever you can also find parking on the street or even park at 3835 Cross Creek and its a nice walk past Malibu lagoon to Adamson house.

The house tour is a must. You start with an introduction about the family - who had a pretty incredible influence on Malibus economy and geography - and then you visit the house room by room. The family had a tile factory and this house was designed to be a catalog showcasing all they could do with their tiles. The result is wild and colorful, and makes the visit extremely interesting. The guide was knowledgeable, fun, and a great speaker.

We drove by this house on the PCH-1 many times when driving to Zuma Beach from the Santa Monica area.I was always intrigued by Adamson House, but the hours of operation are quite limited, so best to call before you go. I got the chance to visit when I had some guests from out of town and Im glad I fit it in.The location of this historic house is amazing, you have a nice view of the Malibu Pier from the property. We did a tour of the property and greatly enjoyed it, both inside and out.I especially liked the architecture and Spanish style architecture. The tile work was amazing. This is worth visiting and wont take TOO long. We all commented on how awesome it would have been to live here by the beach.

I was able to roam around the immaculate grounds of this place without bother or judgment. During this time I executed a series of amazing jumpkicks off the various ledges and terrain points available to me during this time. The entire beach full of onlookers watched in amazement as I must have looked a spitting image to the great J. C. V. D (Jean Claude Vann Damme)

My Chinese fiancée and I just had a horrible experience visiting Adamson House. She came all the way from China and wanted to see it.I am handicapped and told the parking attendant that we came to see the House. He said sorry man we dont honor handicapped on holidays (I had my sign hanging up on the rear view mirror). Fine. I paid the cash. We made it to the house only to find it closed. We returned to the parking attendant within 5 minutes and he said no way you are getting a refund - we only do parking. I pointed out that we were only here for a few minutes and there is no sign saying that the house was closed. He said deal with it sport. There was a line of cars waiting to get in. He could have said heres your money man, sorry about the trouble, I hope you two can make it back again and have a nice Memorial day...but instead he got all pissy and called me an XXX-hole for asking for my money back after 5 minutes.I know hes not working on commission and he could have made someone elses day by turning over that spot immediately but instead he took the bad Karma route. We left.So now my fiancée goes back to China and tells what a great, kind, people us Americans are and how nice we can be to each other on a national holiday. And I really doubt that shell ever want to give Adamson House a second try.
