If you visit Lakeland, definitely visit Lake Mirror right in the heart of the town. This was our second time walking around Lake Mirror and it is one of the most beautiful areas of downtown Lakeland. There are great photo opportunities, restaurants, a beautiful garden area, exotic bird wildlife (at least to those of us from cold climates) and more.

What a wonderful park to walk around and just take in Nature. The wild life know it also because there sure is a diversity of them. Grab a water or a soft drink and Your mask, and take a stroll and enjoy the way GOD intended it to be for you! Its there at this wonderful place.

This place is a great spot for a scenic view. Its quiet but not much spots for shaded sit down. There is a park for kids and a little botanical garden. Plenty of birds to feed also. I recommend giving it a look see during the sunset hours.

This is an amazing lake to walk around, I do at least three times a week. Close enough to downtown that its still urban but well enough inside its own area that it feels private. Beautiful at night.

My fave place to go and de-stress and unwind. So calming and beautiful all the way around and beyond. Have been going there for the last 8 yrs at least 4 days a week n love it. The ducks, geese, swans, birds are so enjoyable to feed and watch and the beauty all around is amazing. They do a fantastic job maintaining the whole area...just stunning beauty

In town for a soccer tournament and found this beautiful lake to walk around. Lots of waterfowl and a pretty garden to view. Make sure to eat at Palace Pizza a block away. Authentic Italian pasta dishes and pizzas.

Great place to walk and talk. Numerous restaurants and places to relax around the lake. Wonderful children play area for the young ones, the gardens for everyone, and the great walkway all the way around. One of my favorite places in Lakeland.

One of the most beautiful parks Ive been to. Always well kept with great sights to see that become breathtaking at night. Perfect for walks or casual events. Wildlife is fun to watch and never a problem. With local spots for bites, its a fine place for any casual or formal moment.

The lake is a beautiful place to take an evening stroll. Plenty of water fowl to watch and feed. Pet friendly. Lot of room to picnic, bicycle, skateboard, etc. Great place for photography as well.

Best park ever if you have a kid theres a baby play ground you can go to or if you have a 10 year old theres a Park they can gobto. If you like garden there is a garden in the park all you have to do is follow the signs and if you want to get in shape you can run because at night or in the morning you can go there

Very nice lake to walk around. It gets pretty hot since it doesnt have lots of shadded areas. It is best if you walk it really early in the morning or when the sun is going down. Great place to take pictures and enjoy a romantic evening or just to have fun with family. Bathrooms are near the Barnett Family playground in the building next to the park. Parking is limited at the Barnett Family Park but they have parking spaces around the lake.

Beautiful and relaxing to visit. Plenty of benches to sit on and relax while you read a book or just stare at the scenery. The lighting is awesome at night!!! Its a great place for walking.Be sure to visit the Texas Cattle Company while there. They have the best steaks in the world!! Then go for a walk around the lake with your better half or just yourself.

A beautiful place to visit nice lake with ducks geese and other wild birds and turtles. The gardens are superbly kept and a nice place to walk with benches for breaks.

Great place to take a walk at night and bring food to eat a lot of grass area to sit down the playground is big with a splash pad and restaurants around there are ducks and doves walking around flower garden restroom theater center plenty of parking in the city area i cant wait for everything to open will be back to this nice place to visit.

What a beautiful park for a 2nd walk within a week! This time took my parents before sunset and watched the lights come on at dusk! Its peaceful and quiet with a handful of people roaming around at that time on a Saturday. The black swan is quite beautiful as is the architecture and grounds of the park!

I love coming here its really nice to come here if you want to go for a walk or even just a picnic you should check it out.

First time Ive walked it. It was a gorgeous day for a walk, nice and cool outside. I would like to go back when its a little bit warmer to see if there is still a nice breeze from the lake.

Excellent place to take the family, go with friends or just walk alone. I enjoy all the events such as the Lakeland Derby (most recent). Lakeland is such a wonderful place to live.

The ducks and swans just add the perfect touch. I wish the catacombs were still open but still a beautiful place to just take a break or a nice stroll. You can literally take stairs to the water. Theres water fountains for you and your animal and several places to take a break and relax

Nice park for walking around Lake Mirror. They also offer a childrens play are with water features. My favorite area is the garden that plays classical music throughout, so once to listen to as you stroll through.There is even a nice restaurant with indoor and outside seating. They offer many events throughout the year.

Lake Mirror is a place where I find peace. They have a water park and playground for children. I mostly like to walk the Lake with my little dogs. Night time its all lit up and very romantic.

Red, White, and Kaboom was a well-planned event. Lake Mirror is the perfect location for such a venue. The area itself is attractive even without seasonal festivities. Kids will thoroughly enjoy the Splash Park and play area. The promenade is beautiful and the walk around the lake is clean and well lighted. A great place for an evening stroll.

The light show for the Christmas tree Christmas night was awesome. Lake Mirror is definitely one of my favorite spots in Lakeland!!During the day you have the parks for the kids, the water park, & the beautiful garden to walk through!!

Plenty to see at this lake. Its small but there is a lovely flower garden along it with hundreds of rose bushes, a kiddie park, more swans and ducks than you could imagine, and cool art and pillars . Only thing I didn like was all the construction around the lake.

The grounds are very well maintained. Its a nice place to have a picnic. No tables, so bring your blanket or chairs. Im disabled, so it was a lot on me going up and down hills, but still enjoyed myself.

Its always a nice walk around the lake and night time is the prettiest.

The place its self is gorgeous. Great restaurants and it is well taken care of. The only draw back is that there are very rude homeless people there who are aggressive on their approach. The same guy on a bike was following us around and kept bothering other people as well.
