Its a nice church local to the area, however they could seriously use a redesign of their sanctuary. Seats are very uncomfortable and it gets really hot in there. The church goers are some of the kindest people you will ever meet.

My mother and her mother were members of Stone Church. As were others in the family. Most of all whom have passed away and are good memories now. I went to Stone Church when I was a child. At the time I didnt know how historical the Church was until I was an adult. I have been to many churchs around the country to call my church. Nothing to date has measured up to Stone Church! I want to be Baptist and a Catholic and among others. Then I think of my grandmother and mother and see how kind and happy that they were and so giving and loving they both were! I think I have found my Church! God Bless all!

This historic building is where my cousin was married. The church means a lot to the community and the history of Independence. The preschool has been open for quite a while. There is a parking lot. Children and families are welcome.

They feed the homeless here, but, do not go for the Mormon religion. They help a lot of people but they are most definatly a CULT. I should know, Im an x - Mormon myself.
