Always nice to go to a park just to get some fresh air. But its even better to go to a park like this one where all my kids have fun. And its always clean

Theres a real nice tree at the bottom of one of the hills in the park I have a Little Rock retaining wall with shape of a half moon kind of surrounding the tree they must be a perfect place to sit in the shade Rockwall but think about things life

Clean with plenty of things to do there. Nice places to walk, long or short distances, safe sidewalks. Something for every age, toddlers to senior citizens. Great place with plenty social distancing.

This place has come a long way in 30 years. Splash park, wheel chair access to the playground equipment!!!!!! Nice baseball field. Now if Independence could only fix those bathroooms..... walking path around playground and park. Its busy and usually there is a birthday celebration going on. Very popular place.

I love coming to McCoy Park!!! My kids always have fun here, even after labor day when the water will no longer be on!!! They love to play on the equipment, upper and lower playgrounds!!! We often grill here and make it a family day!!! We will enjoy coming here for years to come!!! I am sure of it!!!

Nice park. Clean, well groomed. Has a leash off area for dogs with lots of running space as well as equipment for training or just for them to feel as though they have a playground of their own. Decent tennis court, certainly playable. A couple of childrens playgrounds with fun things to climb, swing, or slide on. It also has plenty of picnic tables, most are equipped with a grill, couple of them have a shelter as well. A pair of walking paths, one that barely goes through wooded area, and another that takes you in the woods. Yes, there are restrooms.

Ive meet a lot of great people their. We all met at the park and do anything and everything. Just dont 2- get 2 bring food and games. That helps make the day enjoyable

Great playground for kids. My son loves it. The only problem is there are closing the splash park too early. 8:00. Last year the closing time was 8:30

Great place for both children as well as adults. The splash pad is fun and there are two different parks for the kids to play at. Lots of benches and picnic tables...super place for a Birthday party or just a weekend of fun in the sun!

This park has came a long way. Its a great place to take the kiddos. 3 different play areas for every age. Would recommend for a picnic.

This is a gorgeous park with something for everyone . There are two all inclusive playgrounds so kids of all abilities can play. The park is immaculate with wide paths for long walks. There is a baseball diamond, a spray park, horseshoes, picnic pavilions and lovely old trees everywhere. We adore this park. Even better, there is a public library across the street. Its the perfect place to come spend the afternoon.

Its well taken care of mowed and manicured. I take my god daughter there at least once a week usually twice and we love it all the kids and parents are very polite, and everyone keeps an eye out for everyone. Its exactly what you hope for in a neighborhood park.

Three different park options in the spring and summer: the old new park (from the late 90s), the spray park, and the disabled accessible park (which is awesome).

My son loves to come here to play. Its fun but as a parent I wish there were more trees and natural shade. This area could definitely use more trees.

My granddaughters loved this park. They had a blast playing in the water park and playing at the regular park on the new swings and climbing and slides. I am very impressed with the special needs swings and touchy feely texture things and the musical areas. It is clean and well kept. We will be spending a lot of time there this summer.

Could use the restrooms open on nice days over 35 degrees but rather than that its nice

What a wonderful park the water play area is great. I brought my grandkids here and they had a blast cooling off in the water. And then played on the swings and things to dry off before getting in the car. So much fun.

This is a great family friend park. They recently upgraded the park and kids who have a types of physical challenges will find plenty available for them as well. If you are interested in horseshoes, they have great pits and regular competitions and meetings with the local leagues. Check it out!

Had a great time sledding in the snow there today!

The new kids area they recently added is great for the older kids. I love that they built it closer to the smaller kids park, makes going between the parks so much easier.

They have a good variety of playground equipment for the kids along with a pathway to walk and a sprayground

Great park! We took our youngest and she had a blast playing in the water and on the different playgrounds (theres like 4 of them I think) there is a horseshoe club with a really nice set up AND theres even a little leauge baseball area! All and all it was a really good park. 1330 on a Thursday.

My first experience with an adaptive park. I guess I expected more for my handicapped daughter.

Beautiful park. I would like to see electric outlets and lights installed in the shelters. I had a birthday party there from 3pm to 9pm and clean up was difficult because it got dark around 08:20 pm.

Great for the kiddos! Used to live right by there and it is a nice neighbourhood. Unfortunately, when my birds flew the nest, I had to move out of my house and into a smaller place. I miss it!

Best park in kc. Has 3 different dry playgrounds and a water playground. So much to do the kids never get bored.

This place was clean, a lot to do. I went during the summer and the kids played in the water fountains. This is my favorite place to relax.

My son loves this park and in the summer the splash part is perfect the bridge is out but theres a back way to get there

McCoy park is Always a great place for children to play during the day and maybe Pokemon go if you are into that sort of thing. I thought I had seen a hobo when I drove past the other night.But I would still say its safe during the day. Just dont go at night thats when hobos might be there.

Such an awesome park. Not only is there about 2 or 3 different playground areas but theres also a place to play Horseshoes and a large spray park thats free. My children absolutely love coming here.

This is a fun place to visit. Theres a great gazebo with interpretive signs that tell a little bit about the history of the area. In the summer there are fountains that the children love to play in. Paved walkways crisscross the whole park.

There is so much for the kids to do here this is a wonderful Park and once they finish redoing the other side of the play equipment its going to be perfect I recommend to go to this park to everyone that has kids it has water fountains for them to play in two or three different play equipments its really an awesome park for kids

Good free water fountains to play in. Variety accessible playground and plenty of open space. Parking is convenient.

The park is really nice, the play ground. The spray park is alright too. But alot of people like to throw trash on the ground. Keep your kids feet safe!

It’s a great park. If you want to get wet on hot days they have a nice little splash park. Or if your kids aren’t in the mood to get soaked the have 3 other parks to go to. The one down the hill is never busy. They have a park just for toddlers to enjoy so they don’t get hurt by the big kids and can enjoy them self’s more. The big kid park is enjoyable for 5 to adult. It has a big spinning Christmas tree thing. A flat disc swing that you can swing and relax on sitting, standing or laying. Have swing seats that are like a roller coaster seat and lot of unique slides. They even have a big grassy hill and a tennis courts . It is worth a visit but the biggest downside is because all these attraction the park dose easily get overcrowded on those nice weather days

Decent park. Geared for families with little ones. I would say ages 2-10 maybe 12. Not a lot to do for older kids-- teenagers. You would think maybe a basketball court, skate board rink something. Enjoyed ourselves though. Great for a family picnic!

This is a cute little park thats improved a lot over the years. Lots of shelters & seating areas. Larger splash pad (that is a little on the old side, but kids dont mind) & a newish playground area. The bathrooms are gross, but bathrooms in public parks usually are. There are horseshoe courts which is kinda cool. Its worth checking out!

I take my 3 kids here as often as possible the variety of entertainment for the kids of all ages is amazing! Also the trail they have around it is great also. The only thing I dislike about the park is the restrooms! They need updated badly

I like to bring my kids here. They have plenty of walking paths. They also have a splash pad and bathrooms. I only wish all the equipment had awnings or shade coverings. The park offers the rubber membrane so youre not in sand or wood chips. I love this feature.

Grandson had fun. Out of all the kids that were there 1 gentleman and his 3 year old son spoke. And played with eli. The rest of the kids were older

The park is a great place with a lot of options for children and adults. I personally like to swing on the swings. The only problem is that they are geared for children and therefore I am a little too tall for them but still managed to enjoy myself with my family.

Great little park. Has a few places that are covered for eating. Also has 2 areas for little kids to play and a water area for kids to get wet.
