I went here to go see what this place was all about. Only one person in the family didnt want to to go in and see inside. They missed out on how this place was built and how it became. It was through an individual that turned everything in a direction that I wont say. But honestly my opinions dont matter right here anyway. The sculpture is very cool. Although it was different how I saw they ran the church. Its enough to probably... Well its was different from my church entirely. But it was fun to learn about another building from another faith. I give my respect to the building and how it looks. Other than that I probably wont be back to see it again. I will stick with what I believe.

Here for the architecture only and its really stunning to see in person. It feels very out of place in Independence. You can see the inside during service all year round but they only give tours during the summer months.

Dedicated to Peace, a worthy place for pilgrims for peace of any inclination to come and reflect, recollect and rededicate to the common goal of Shalom for all.

Experience has been great ! However Temple NEEDS to be open Longer during the day into the evening. And also for minimum of 4 hours each Saturday and Sunday. I know of people that have gone to visit and they have been turned away! this is WRONG for an open church Even the Mormons stay open until 9 pm each day! and on Sat & Sunday!

Wonderful and spiritual experience. I have been twice and both times lived up to what the church teaches and encourages.

Baa master was impressed with this temple and often tried to convince the prostitutes to leave here with him. Very christian of him.

They should be taxed and the homeless in the area should be allowed to sleep in this ridiculous building.

When I went there with some friends we felt really lost and confused. There was no guide to help us, so we just did what ever and saw some weird art with no one for explanation, weird. Very weird.

Magnificent French Casavant organ with a beautiful facade. The chamade (horizontal) trumpets speak declaratively out into the room. The mutation stops (numbers with fractions like nazard 2 2/3rds) on this organ are quite piquant. Lovely set of strings too. I was privileged to play a toccata and fugue by Buxtehude on this organ. It was a dream come true! I invite everyone to attend the weekly organ recitals given at 2:30 pm every Sunday afternoon. Its a delight to both the eye and ear.
