I love this church and always come here when Im in town. My husband and I got married here!

St Cecilia is my home. I joined the parish in 2007 after I movedand never felt like a stranger. There is a real sense of family and fellowship.

Great church my dad went there when hd was a child and that was over 90 years ago

Was at their annual festival, not necessarily the church. Always super hot at this event held Labor Day weekend each year. Usually a pretty cool event. Always decent live bands. I just cant give a Catholic event 5 stars due to the cover up of sexual abuse by priests.

The Church is beautiful and I feel a sense of peace whenever Im there praying before Mass begins.Father Mario is such a devoted priest and the goodness just radiates from him. His messages are from the heart.Therefore, I feel sad and almost like a traitor but I must be honest. The music person waltzes in many times right at the last minute and Mass begins late. I dont know if thats the only reason Mass starts late but I just cannot continue to abide this. At times I think of going to another Church for this reason alone.Although the music is sung beautifully, and she sings like an Angel, the same old songs are sung over and over again. We really need to liven up the Mass, get the young people interested, and keep the older ones. Bring in outside people if we must and get the word out so people start attending Mass again. It saddens me to see so few attending Mass when not too long ago the pews were full and sometimes standing room only.There are way too many collections at the Mass. I have heard of this being a reason why people are leaving and attending church of other faiths, and does our bishop really need four homes? Many parishioners can barely afford one.I felt compelled to voice my concerns. Something must be done, and done soon, even if we need to allow our priests to marry. There are many devoted to the call of Our Lord and not being permitted to marry is holding them back. How else to better understand the needs of parishioners?

Nice festival good food Sunday has chicken dinner

We went for the festival. What they had for the kids was great except for smaller kids was only 2 rides and a few games. Its more aimed for teens. Plenty of adult things to do. Place was very clean, just wish they had more for younger kids.

Friday night fish fry was great. We attended because of word of friend and will return next year. This was Saint Cecilia last fish fry of the season. Wait in line was about 5 minutes and less than that to get our meal delivered to our table, so service is fast and people are fantastic, courteous, more importantly friendly. High energy, and love what they do.Remember to ask them about their summer festival/concert(s) series another Awsome experience. Truly a must attend festival.

Just a minute down the road , road my bike to the festivities . Saw the original Styx lead singer , they were really good . The vandals were fun . Saw a green alien for the first time, oh and a purple one also . Family atmosphere

St. Cecilias festival is always enjoyable. Lots to eat and drink. Music is always great!

Great parking. Terrific desserts to win at the bake sale. Won $20 on pull tabs. Best of all was Gutheries Chicken and Witts black raspberry custard. Amazing! We will be back to St. Cecilia and Witts.

Its crowded every year but its fun if you like beer and music and gambling!

Its an awesome place to go for the festivals. The live musical acts that they book are amazing. Great food, games, and fun for all to be had.

Trisha Landon there have not been 1000 people attend Mass on any given weekend in the past four years. There are as many people leaving as new ones joining. I have seen the tally sheets from the Mass counts that are done. The numbers do tell a story. It was recently announced that there are 1000 families registered. If you conservatively say 2 people per household that is 2000 members and not even half are coming to Mass. There are many good things happening at St. Cecilia but everything that glitters is not gold.

Great festival. Love the fireworks by Vitos Fireworks. Concerts are great. Big names!

A wonderfully fresh parish in the county seat, Independence, of Kenton County in Northern Kentucky. A newer contemporary constructed church building with many old style traditional appointments St Cecilia Roman Catholic Church is bounding full of the the Spirit. Plenty of parking available for all Masses. Definitely a repeat. Highly recommended.The Fall Labor Day Weekend Festival is a national event. Having just celebrated the 100th year anniversary of the festival this one was no exception to the best in region. Grand prize winner is a California resident. Tribute bands for the Bee Gees, Boston, and The Beach Boys entertained the masses over the long weekend. Exceptional. Dont Miss.

I dont go to this church, and dont think I would want to now, after what Julie Martin said to Lynn Bradford.....certainly not a very nice comment. I am sure she knows how to drive. Isnt very welcoming for someone wanting to check out the Church. I live in Independence now, but I think I will still keep going to St. Agnes Church, in Ft. Wright. They dont make fun of peoples driving. The parking lot messed her car up!you dont sound like a very nice person

Great church, great preacher, great ppl!! Lynn Bradford went in the wrong entrance!! Of course we go in that way every Sunday, bottom lot . Rain washes it out!! Doesnt hurt our car just have to know how to drive!!

Dear Cindy Collins, I would ask you to give St. Cecilia Parish a 2nd look. The community is very welcoming and Christ Centered. Theres over 1000 people that go there, so one persons comment shouldnt be what you base your decision on. I dont think Julie Martin meant harm but could have used a softer approach. I dont work for the church but I would like to apologize to Lynn and you for any offense that you took. This Parish is a great place with great people. I hope you give it another chance.

The church is so soothing, peaceful, Father Mario is such a beautiful person.

Not much to do but eat and listen to the music. Not many adult games to play.
