I love coming here with my young son as well as niece. She has trouble at other playgrounds with older children not wanting to let her on swings and slides since she is small. It is a smaller secluded playground with a hidden baseball field and the area is always beautiful and well kept. The parking area could be redone though, the potholes are huge in most of the parking spaces leaving only a few spaces safe for smaller 2 wheel drive vehicles to park.

Choplin Hood Park is one of our favorite places to go for walks and exploring. Its a great place for a quit picnic

Nice nestled location. Baseball field can not be seen from park entrance and parking lot. The field is well maintained for practice and scrimmages.

Never found the park just a sign and a parking lot with houses around it. Not sure what was up walked around the lot found a sidewalk and started to walk it but felt like I was walking on to someones property so i left. I like secluded parks but this one is so well hidden you feel like a tresspasser.

This is the worst park in independence maybe the 2nd worst its right next to a low income housing place so its kinda scary at times.

It is quiet
