Unfortunately due to the windy condition (because of tropical storm Marco & Laura), fish, turtles and gators are hiding away today. Yet we enjoyed the trial, it is very family friendly with all paved or elevated walks. We still spot a few birds and fish, and whole group of crickets. I also like the views. I believe you would see abundant creatures here in dry season or even a slightly more calm day.

I wish I had seen the sign earlier, not once I was done. They have signs warning the vultures like to eat the rubber molding on your car. Came back from the hike to find several vultures ontop of my car picking at the molding. They recommend bringing tarps and bungee cords to cover it. Even standing next to my car loading up one still flew back ontop they like the stuff so much.Very nice trail though. The water was super clear. Could look over the railing and see plants and fish. Saw lots of lizards, birds, and a couple gators.

This place was awesome! We saw two crocodiles, 10 or so turtles, and a lot of fish. You have to look closely to spot anything, but it was well worth our 2 hour drive from the Florida Keys to check this place out. Plan an hour or two for this place.

Great place for a walk around the Everglades. We saw various birds, turtles, vegetation and of course tons of alligators. Staff was great and very friendly and gave us information on the animals. My kids love the trails. We were there for about an hour. It was a drive to get out there but worth it for the cool weather.

Probably the best trail in the park to see wildlife. The trail is mostly a boardwalk and accessible easily. The fall and winter times are not great for wildlife viewing, but if you are persistent, you may get lucky and spot an alligator here and there. Come for the sunrise or sunset for the best light.

Plenty of Gators, tons of fish, a few turtles, and some birds. The trail is partially paved, partially elevated and an easy walk. Youre pretty close to the Gators but it feels safe enough. Definitely worth the price of admission even if you only stop here. The side path away from the water wasnt very exciting, though.

We love this boardwalk trail. Perfect for people who cannot wall on gravel or dirt paths, but interesting for everyone. I suggest this trail to people with young children because the side railings keep children close and safe. We have been here on multiple occasions over different seasons and have always seen wildlife of all kinds. I have never had any problems with mosquitoes in any season. If you have a US National Park Annual pass, it lets you in without payment.

A good place to visit if you want to get a quick feel of what the Everglades park is all about. Park rangers provide good information and show people around the place. You get to see a lot of wildlife including alligators. The best time to visit in order to see more wildlife is the dry season during my the winter. Normally, at that time water is not so much and wildlife concentrates around the few remaining bodies of water. It can be quite a show!

Very beautiful trail and must visit if you visit Everglades. If you have limited time and get a good view of Everglades then just do this one trail and you should be good. Saw 5 alligators and ton of anhinga birds and turtles and gars in the water. Saw one anhinga try to eat a fish which was too big for him. It was funny to watch this bird trying to gulp a big fish. Lose lose situation for both because there was no way this fish would fit this birds throat but it won’t let the fish go. This place has very scenic views and you can literally see most of the wild species found in Everglades. I would recommend spending more time on south side of Everglades park than the north side.

This place is AMAZING! It has restrooms and a nice little gift shop right by the parking lot. The trails are some sidewalk and mostly board walk allowing you to get so close to wildlife. Alligators, turtles, birds, and giant colorful grass hoppers are just the highlights! This place is perfect for families and wildlife lovers! Depending on the time/season make sure you’re equipped with bug spray. Everglades is by far my favorite National Park you could spend many days here and still have more to explore and more wildlife to see!

This is one of the most beautiful trails inside the Everglades National Park. Its just a few miles from the Ernest Co Entry point. You can spot a lot of crocodiles and alligators along the trail.
