I love coming out here to walk/run/cycle. Nice and open. Plenty of space to social distance during this pandemic .

Great for exercise and walking your pets. But there is the occasional bum. Not a big deal they mostly want to be alone and at peace because thats the type of park it is. Its not the kind of place you host a party more for just some fresh air, peace, and quiet.

We attended the airshow in 2016 & 2018. Be prepared for heat and long lines. Well worth the wait.

This is a fantastic park to run or walk in, with the closed road winding all throughout the park you really have a lot of space to exercise, the shelters can be rented and used for events. Having the other park, right next to the parking lot, with bathrooms and an actual track, field, is also a big bonus.Great to bring the family or puppers.

It basically only covers the bare necessities to call a park a park. Asphalt roads thru a vast area of grass and trees (not even flowers no statues,zero culture). This park has literally nothing for kids except the recent addition of a soccer field hidden deep in the park. I would say its at least good for running however running on hard (and cracked) asphalt would make you prone to shin splints which arent fun. Overall I wouldnt recommend there are far better parks sadly in other areas.

Tranquil, picnick areas, free,giod oarking and its handicapp accessable. Boardwalk is a beautiful walk.

Add a playground, some basketball courts. Otherwise its left to visitors to improvise on their own fun. But other than that it is a nice relaxing spot.

I had a great experience whilst there.

Not your typical Park you go to to hang out with your kids. But if youre willing to go play soccer there expect a large amount of space. Also there is an area where indoor soccer is played. Youll pay about $80 in order to play only for one hour. I recommend going in the nighttime. This is an excellent place to go out for a jog but dont expect a luxurious Park. There is an area where hurricane Irma rubbish was placed so be aware.

Lived on homestead afb as a child when hurricane Andrew hit. Was so grateful that the original sidewalks from the housing area where saved I was able to find my former home. This is a memory still for some of us who lived down there. Thank you and please keep that part of history

I used to work there the guys are beautiful the Colonel whats the best but Im retired now still got that once in awhile to the all ranks club should go out there get a job or grab something to eat first you got to get through the gate

So much space. Amazing place to go running. I’m just mad that they don’t take care of the park. The grass is dead and not cut. But it’s a really big space.

Just moved from Texas and this is the closest disc golf course to my house. Overall, its a descent course and it is huuuuge! The hole designs are fairly interesting, but can be a bit hard to follow (GPS helps). The teeboxes are pretty useless, made of bricks and not very long or stable, but plenty of room to tee off the ground next to them. There are some pretty wonderful trees and even some wildlife.Ive played there twice now and will be back again for sure!

25 years ago it was part of homestead air Force Base now its a sprawling park with a couple pavilions and soccer fields. Jets take off from the reserve base daily. A couple of months ago I spotted a f33 raptor landing damn those jets are quiet.

Great place to work out. I go there 4 times a week. Good place for a barbeque and a picnic too. Right now they are mulching all of the debris from hurricane Irma but everything should be fine.

Huge park. Has multiple soccer fields (lighted). Has a large walking/running track. It has many routes one can take, so you dont feel like a hamster. Usually you see a lot of families there walking, taking their kids to ride their scooters or bikes. No dogs are allowed in this park. They is also a paintball field in the middle.

Its a okay park. Plenty of space for the kids to run around.

#1 BICYCLE PARK TO RIDE.. SAFE NO CARS AND LOTS OPEN SPACE.

The park is an abandoned urbanization/golf camp. Ussually not too many people walking around. The toilets were closed that is why I did not rate it 5 stars. No lights either. No shady characters inspite if being kind if withdrawn and close to a homeless shelter.

Nice park to ride bikes.

I love the park and I wish what happened to me this morning hadnt happen. I go often to that park. Its so peaceful and beautiful. I love watching the jets. The kids enjoy it. I even take great pictures there. But a number of times Ive noticed a guy who I thought worked there (work uniform and hell walk around picking up stuff with a stick). Today, he was in what I thought was tight workout short. I figured he was working out. He stalked me for about half hr. Watched my play with my one yr old. Almost approached me but my dog started barking. I didnt think anything of it. I walked to my car and found him next to my car on the floor legs spread wide open dick and balls in the air masterbating. I obviously called the cops. He got away because the cops took 20 mins to get their.I love the park but theirs a pervert or worse a pedophile who pretends to be a worker stalking women and kids.

I visited for the soccer land part of this park, I recommend going its fun.

The park is huge and the employees are really helpful but I dont like the area that is in, not a so good neighborhood.
