The park is really really nice but needs to be maintained more frequently. Its not that its dirty or anything like that, its just the grass and gardens are overgrown. The landscapers need to use there edger as the sidewalks and streets are overgrown with grass. Also the volleyball court sand needs attention. Apparently the playground tarp as been taken off without replacement but from prior review picture the park equipment has been updated . The pavilions need a good pressure washing. Im a new resident to the area and Im comparing it to the maintenance work dade county and city of doral does to there parks. I do visit and enjoy the park weekly with my little one and will update this review accordingly

This park is clean and well maintained! Theres alot of fun stuff to do here. Theres pathways through the entire park which is great for exercising, a doggie playground with really cool obstacle courses, A number of l picnic/BBQ facilities are placed throughout the park and i think they can be reserved for special occasions, a variety of sports can also be played like volleyball, soccer, basketball etc. My favorite part because i have a toddler is the kiddies playground, its a small play area but still its good enough for younger kids.

It was raining buckets when I visited. But this park has a primo playground and quite a few sports courts/fields.

Nice dog park! Actually had some good equipment for agility. New well made equipment and met some very nice people. The yards looked well maintained. I did spot some missed poop not picked up but it looked like the poop bags werent refilled so make sure to bring your own.

Park was in great condition, it is quite ample. Great for jogging, running, and has some bars for dips and pull ups. Few other training stations. Volleyball pit, as we as doggie park and kid playground. Lots of seating access and parking. About 3 different bathroom locations. Good park.

A spacious park with a foot trail long enough for jogging. There are benches and basic workout equipment scattered throughout. There are also several pavilions for rent and plenty of parking.My main gripe is that a good portion of the grass was in desperate need of trimming and was not at all suitable for laying down a blanket or lawn chairs.The kids playground is also tucked away in a corner of the park which is a bit strange and maybe one reason why the workout stations were filled with children using them as makeshift playgrounds.

Awesome dog park with friendly people. Always has disposable doggy bags and a dog level water fountain. Mini obstacle course with 3 places to sit, 2 of them shaded. Could use another bench or two though.

Beautiful park! Has dog park section. Dog park is also seperated for big dogs and a separate section for little dogs, but both sections are the same size. :)

This is my four year olds favorite park, and mine to... It has a gate around the playground to keep kids from running out into the parking lot, a huge walking path outside the playground area, grills, pavilions, and the restroom is close to the playground!

Nice clean family and dog friendly park. It has 7 pavilions that can be used to host events. No reservations needed its first come first serve basis. Each pavilions has a BBQ grill, but they are tiny in my opinion. Park rules prohibit people from bringing their own grill. The park has 2 dog parks; one for dogs over 35 pounds and another for dogs under 35 pounds. Park has beach volley, basketball courts, jogging track with outdoor exercise machines and a large field for soccer and football. The park had movable soccer goal posts but they are not longer there. I dont know why they were removed. Finally the park has two restroom buildings.

Great open-air Park for the family to play basketball or baseball or fly drones for that matter, and good fishing in the canal behind it.

New obstacles has been installed made from plastic/wood composite decking. Very slick. One is very steep on the top of being slick. Small slats have been added to help with this but they are made of the same materials so are not effective. **NOT safe for your dog**. When a dog tries to climb and finds himself halfway with no traction and sliding backwards, he will try to turn to face the direction he is going instead of falling backwards. This places your dog in a situation of falling sideways off of the obstacle. The higher the dog manages to climb the farther the fall. Several of these new obstacles have the same danger for falling. Again NOT SAFE FOR DOGS.

Love bringing my boys to play here. It’s great when they had the cover on the playground.

This park is an underrated oasis in Homestead. The walking trails are long and distant for a good cardio exercise. The park is open with a variety of activity areas from a basketball court to a dog park. The park is always staffed and the staff will drive around the park to ensure safety for its patrons. This place is worth a recreational visit for those who seek a little exercise.

Great spot for running, either in the sun or the shade. Also plenty of activities for kiddos and families. Several Pokemon GO! Stops and 2 Gyms.

Park need pest control a lot of ants all over my son got bite and have his hand hurt really bad

Theres lots to do: family friendly, theres a dog park and nice large open spaces for exercising.

Excellent to exercise

Playground has a good size and is covered which is very important during hot season. Nice walk so my kids can also ride their bike, not the most beautiful one but nice to have it not too far from home.

The park is in need of a water fountain which has been not working for a year I know because I have pictures and dates of when I reported it the sprinklers have been covered by grass cause they r no being used the fences need to be repaired there was trees in which Alex said they were going to replace and never did the only time the grass gets water is when GOD sends it the park really needs help I go there 3 to 4 times a week lets see what happens now the park was nice when I first started coming I was even there on opening day

This is the park where I do my walking, its beautiful, well kept, family friendly and safe.My kiddos Love going to this park, the kids playground is big and has a huge tent over it so the heat during the summer months is not that bad. It has the dog area, volleyball court, basketball court, soccer field, fitness area and walking and fitness area....Love this park.

Basketball courts, sand volleyball , playground, and nice to walk around. Theres a nice dog park with separation between under and over around 35lbs I believe. I gave it a 3 star because you can only have a dog in the dog park. I was stopped by a worker because I was walking my dog on leash around the park. I had pick up bags and hadnt let him off the leash once. I want to get some exercise too. Would go back without my dog I guess.

They should have security. Cars speeding inside the park. Not bring my kids here again. Kids driving in and out speeding, a child in a bicycle almost get hit cause they dont stop on the stop signs either. Bad place to bring children!!

Great place to take your dog and go for a run

I have been running with my dog on the track for months, instances where I see cops and many other civilians. Ive always taken my dog to the dog park so he can do his business then I clean up the waste and throw it away because I do know kids play on the field.we then head to the track.today I was rudely interrupted by an older couple. Saying dogs arent allowed up there. I didnt realize the sign didnt allow dogs. Ill no longer be coming here. My dog is always on a leash and does exactly what is told. My dog is a service dog and I personally dont feel its fair.

It a nice local park, I offend visit the dog run. The park has 2, one for small the other for large dogs. Around 5:30 pm is the best time, thats when it gets busy with dogs and have lots of fun. Its clean. Also has a drinking water fountain to keep the dogs hydrogenated.The also has a full size running/ jogging track, volleyball court, walk ways and benches. Clean restrooms and a park worker keeping things in order. Plenty of free parking. Safe and quiet...enjoy your visit.

Trails.. benches.. fenced in dog areas.. no money needed.. lots of parking .. we went one day in November.. people were everywhere outside enjoying the weather.. while we where there the dog areas where out of order.. because of hurricane.. please make sure you check to see if they have been fixed before taking dog.. still a very nice free place

A nice and clean place to spend time with family

I am always amazed, negatively, when I observe staff drive the City vehicles on the walk/run/bike/exercise pathways and on the fields. Ive seen tire ruts on the soccer fields.

I think this is one of the better parks in Homestead, they have a soccer areas, basketball courts, huge playground for kids and dog park. Playground is closed in which is perfect for kids.

Very nice park comparing it to Leisure park but be careful when taking your kids with bikes, had a guy looking at my sons bike while my mom took him to the bathroom, people are fast to snatch something that isnt theirs. Other than that, nice place to walk and enjoy sunsets!

Nice park with a playground, track and dog park. Noticed today the dog park has water fountains for the dogs but only one fountain for humans next to the bathrooms. So I recommend bringing lots of water for yourself and kiddos if you go here.

The park is great! theres a lot of places to being kids along with soccer fields and a basketball court. the only reason Im giving a 2 star review is because the dog park filthy. Poop EVERYWHERE people here dont even bother picking up after their dogs.

Very clean park. The kids playground needs some work though. They have broken parts that are rusting and my son almost got hurt with it.

My girls love this park! I enjoy it because the playground area is mostly covered, it has an area for walking, pavillions for cookouts and parties, and it is clean.

Running trail, basketball courts, soccer fields, volley ball courts and fenced in dog park. Multiple bathrooms and beautiful butterfly garden located in the center.

Great, great great park: Has paved walking trails (skating and rollerblading allowed) , outdoor exercise trail, soccer and volleyball fields, tennis court etc, bathrooms, covered pavilions with piknik tables which have running water and electric outlets and lights. There are also two areas for dogs. Awesome place to spend a day with family or come over to jog and workout.Open sunrise to sunset.I only gave it four stars because for some reason they dont allow grills out here and there is no lake or pond in the park.

There is always kids playing at this park. My kids love to go here, they beg me every day. If you have dogs, they have an awesome park for dogs as well. Great place for exercise, and they have restrooms.

Great place to exercise lost 30 pounds on their track. All while letting the kids play in the kids playground then getting them used to running the track. They love to work out with me.

Great park has a tarp over the playground so the equipment doesnt get so hot. Take my kids here all the time. Dog friendly as well and plenty of water fountains and bathrooms.
