Nice place great to be outside and take in the nature scape
Lots of animals to see and take pictures of. The boat rides are the best to see all that there is to see in this wonderful place.
We rented a canoe from the park. Didnt have enough time to do the whole trail. Some parts werent well marked, and some parts were really shallow and hard to paddle through. We did see a croc (or gator?) which was cool! I think overall it was also a little inconvenient to drive all the way to flamingo visitor center to get the gear for the canoe rental.
Amazing boating experience with the mangrove. Follow the pvc trail mark to not get lost
Easy boat access. Not very crowded but some crocodiles/ Gators in the area.
Awesome place to visit, although, the mosquitoes at the flamingo part were unbearable. The park is huge and can easily take a whole day to explore.
Very beautiful full of wildlife I recommend either early in the morning or at sundown in the evening check out a nice looking sunset and different animals
Had a great time kayaking
Could use better markers
One of the best ways to explore, enjoy and get to understand the Everglades. We took a guided ranger canoe tour - due to very windy weather did the short tour only - but very worthwhile. See the Everglades up close, get insightful knowledge through the ranger. We did not get to see many animals - but learned a lot about the importance of mangrove trees and the Everglades habitat.Bring sunscreen, water and mosquito spray..
Great 5 mile (or 3 miles if you take the shortcut) canoe loop. Took us about 4 hours across beautiful terrain. Lots of sunscreen needed, as well as bug spray - although the wind kept them off us today. Didnt see any alligators but supposedly frequented by both alligators and a 15foot crocodile.
The everglades is a beautiful national park located here in South Florida. Along with a multitude of trails and sites to see there is also canoeing and airboat rides. You can get up close and personal with the animals (no touching) but you can get within 5 feet of large alligators and crocodiles. They have birds and manatees. Everything you can think of. Beautiful park. We visit multiple times per year.
Beautiful, saw a lot of birds and wildlife
Peaceful. Lots of wildlife: vultures, osprey,...
We took the 3.5 mile canoe trip with JP and had a great time. You really get up in the mangroves, and we saw about 10 alligators. Sadly, Crockzilla did not emerge.
Great place to paddle. Clear water and few bugs. Well marked.
A wonderful place to get away from all the city stress and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Took the kayaks out. Nice trail lots of wildlife. Last marker a little confusing but good times either way.
Nice place for a picnic even if there are no so much benches
If youre into kayaking, this should be a place for you.
Not much wildlife, just a paved parking area off the main road
Nice view
Great kayaking trail.
Hickers
Good place for a kayak.
Enjoy
Great stargazing spot.
Good paddle
Saw many alligators and a crocodile as well as many birds and fish while canoeing here.
