Its a great little animal rescue to visit. The staff is super friendly, and knowledgeable. We went with 5 kids ages 11 to 2 and they all had fun feeding the alligators and learning about animals. Great to go instead of zoos because your money goes to caring for theses rescued animals!

I Love taking my kids here. It’s obvious the people who it this truly care about the animals. The place is intimate and there were no one else there when we went. It felt like the animals were the number one priority. It was inexpensive compared to similar places in the area and the person at the entrance was friendly and knowledgeable

A must see if you love animals of Florida. The Outpost is rustic but perfect. We inquired about Casper the gator that enjoys swims with humans. The staff not only kind but also very informative 9n every animal that was rescued. The Outpost runs on donations and volunteers which is highly commendable.

I had a really nice experience!!! I saw this place advertised on Groupon. Very underrated. Its a family-owned-and-operated animal rescue. I really respect what they do and their work with the animals. If I can give this place 10 stars then I would! There were many interesting animals. When I first entered the park I passed a parrot that said hello to me. I got to see many alligators, camels, zebras, tortoises, leapords, lions etc. The highlight of my entire trip to Florida was that I got to hold a baby alligator. I would definitely return!!!

An interesting place to visit, the staff are hard working and passionate about helping mistreated animals. They do very well with the resources they have and the animals seem to be in good care.We did an alligator swim with the guide Chris. He was incredible and got us in the water and up close to the animals. His experience and knowledge enabled this experience to be exhilarating while very safe. Safety was his main concern and we were briefed thorough on the entire encounter. This place is a worth while visit to just check out the animals and gators, or to do a more intimate activity with one of their guides.

We had a blast here !! It is a self guided visit but a lot of info and history !! You can pay and get a actual tour ! It is a non profit and they just do it out of love for the animals !! They do try and rehabilitate and release the animals back to the wild but some they can’t they take on and keep caring for them by donations. You should check this out if you are in the area !! My kids had a blast and my husband thought it was so cool to see the tiger that close up !!!

It doesnt take long to see the miserable animals in these cages so dont plan on spending much time here... Way too expensive for what it is. I wanted to see the gator show but no one knew when it would be. They told me to look for, a tall man, that was supposed to be working there and ask him... I asked for a refund after my supreme disappointment and they directed me to a manager whom also could not be found.

What an amazing time. We took our mom who is 89 years old to Everglades Outpost She had the time of her life. She was so excited, she was face to face with the white tiger. The alligator show was also so amazing to her. She had never seen anything like it. The staff was exceptional and interacted with my mom and our family. This was well worth it and cannot wait to return. Our family got a chance to meet Boband Quinton and both were amazing. Just want to give a great shout out to the staff also. Thanks to all that was involved and made our visit a great success. We are from Alabama.

This is Non- Profit. Everyone who works there, does so as Volunteers, except for one Gal. I am so sorry I dont remember her name, but she may as well be called a Volunteer, because she is in charge of the Whole place. Her tires efforts have Saved the lives of countless animals. A Camel is being brought into good health & safety there. Multiple types and ages of Tortoise live there now after being saved from abusive homes and situations. A whole pack of Wolves live there now. You can find Lion, Tiger, Bear, and ANY OTHER mammal you can imagine, at the Outpost in any certain time. We were told people even drop animals off outside of the Outpost at night for her to find next morning!! Do you know that in Florida, you are allowed to Legally own animals we find Only at zoos in other states! ! THIS IS THE PROBLEM. Folks tire of these pets as they grow up. The so called Petting Zoos should Not be attended. They only keep those animals while young! ! What do they do with the even slightly older ones? You Dont Want to Know. The Lucky (ha! ) ones end up here or at other, the few other, places around the Eastern US. Help the Outpost by donating time(desperately needed! ) money, & by spreading the word about the Everglades Outpost. ALSO, Support ️ changing the laws concerning ownership of certain animals as pets, like -Zebra( one is at the Outpost), Lemurs(kin to Monkeys), Sloths, Lions, Alligators, etc They are there after being Rescued. Thanks for any help you can offer. (if helpful, please like) Thanks! ️

I dont think this a good experience at all, wolves, panthers, zebra, tiger and other poor animals confined in very small jails. They look dirty, miserable and so unhappy. I think this place should give those animals to places where they have space to be free and be able to run and do excersice. I left crying. So sad and heartbreaking to watch. Its amazing they are trying to help but I think they should do it differently.

Ive visited the Everglades Outpost twice and both times enjoyed it. My wifes family is visiting from China so today we decided to go to the Outpost to see the animals and to Robert is Here for shakes and to try the different honeys. The reptile show with Quinton and his assistant was excellent. Ive been to Zoo Miami several times and Lion Country Safari and have never been so close and personal with the animals as at the Outpost. Yes, there are are less animals than the zoo and the place is not huge, but if you stay for a while are able to attend the reptile or alligator show and speak to the volunteers, youll learn a lot and have an awesome time. Its well worth it for the price and for a good cause.
