One of the best event I have ever been apart of. My husband & I went on the steak & Shimp dinner cruise on O8/29/2020 the Captain Bob Bendfield was awesome & so was the staff. We very much enjoyed our trip. The food was great, it wasnt brought too fast it was just right spaced. We had a very relaxing evening.Thank you all. The Carpenter Couple

Had a wonderful time this evening cruising around Lake Hickory. Super friendly staff, good food, and lovely live music to complement the evening. An enjoyable and relaxing way to spend the evening. Very easy to find and free parking available.I highly recommend them!

Great night out on the water. The owner sat beside us on this little adventure. He was great to talk to and made sure everyone was enjoying the experience. Music was very nice by the two young ladies. The food was very good as was the desert. I wasnt sure what to expect but it really turned out to be a great evening!

The dinner cruise was very nice and low key. I enjoyed having space in the cabin due to the reduction in guest count. We enjoyed the scenic view, the ride, and the food with the exception of the sirloin. It should be a requirement to ask guest how they want their steak cooked. Cooking steak MR is not what we eat and I noticed that a lot of plates returned had steak on it. The tilapia had a good flavor but started drying out on the bottom side. The portion of veggies should have been more as well - but the salad was very good and tea. Overall, we will return but will remember to put in the instructions when booking how to cook our steak and suggest anyone else to do the same to have an awesome experience.

My husband and I are new to the area and thought this would be a great way to explore - WOW, it was delightful! Beauitful boat, amazing staff, captain and musician (David Kurley). We had a blast meeting others on the cruise, exploring the boat as it cruised around the beautiful lake and the dinner was delicious! They even served dessert afterward. I give this cruise an A+! We plan to do another cruise around the holidays. Thanks for offering such a fun activity in the Hickory area!

The boat ride was fine but it was iver-booked so we had to sit on the bottom, in the rear, next to the motors. Staff was polite. Food was average, just lacked seasoning and no salt or pepper even available. Finally, youre given plastic plates and dinner were. Thats fine, but youre asked to hold onto you fork and knife for subsequent courses. Really? For $69 I cant have a clean, new plastic fork and knife? Kind of chinsy.

We had a wonderful evening out on the Lake!!! I would highly recommend Lake Hickory Adventures!!! The Captain was AWESOME!! Food was great and the Sunset was spectacular!

The boat was beautiful. Captain Burel and staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. It felt more like we were with family and friends as opposed to being just another customer The boat has room to move about comfortably. Its broad beam makes her extremely stable for dining and moving about. Another bonus is her shallow draft allowing to explore coves and traveling close to shore.Dinner was catered locally and was much nicer than expected. My party cleaned their plates. Sun and water sure do bring on an appetite.Some parties brought a bottle of wine while others brought a few beers. Next time I think I will to.The lake was beautiful and not busy or crowded with jet skies or speed boats. The Captain will also let you drive the boat.We had a wonderful time onboard and look forward to a Christmas cruise to see all the Holiday lights from the water.A great time and extremely reasonably priced. I highly recommend Lake Hickory Adventures!I almost forgot the entertainment. They had a guitar player/ singer that was really good. He played a wide variety of old school country and southern rock. Definitely worth a listen.

AMAZING hospitality, FABULOUS food, INCREDIBLE staff, MARVELOUS captain, BEAUTIFUL boat and WONDERFUL views! We will do this again and again. Totally worth every penny! What a remarkable experience!

The food was very good and the entire experience was a great time. We will definitely do this again. The staff were very attentive to our needs and friendly. I would recommend one of these cruises.

We had the most delightful cruise on Lake Hickory tonight. We enjoyed a Pirate-themed murder mystery dinner onboard, with all the guests clad in costume and character. Such a clever, fun way to spend an October evening. This is our second cruise with Lake Hickory Adventures, but certainly not our last. One of the best things to do on the lake!

Lake Hickory Adventures was like a dream come true! The food was amazing, the atmosphere, the music, the boat.. it was ALL incredible! The workers are super nice and made this big day special. LITTLE DID I KNOW I WAS GETTING Engaged last night on this adventure to my bestfriend. What a special night! It was perfect and the staff went above and beyond!!!! The owner was so nice, made an announcement & even had a firework surprise for us!! 100% recommend! 5 stars!!! Must go!!! Thank you so much Lake Hickory Adventure for making a night we will always remember!!!

I surprised my wife with a dinner cruise with Lake Hickory Adventures for our 18th wedding anniversary. We both had an outstanding time!! We enjoyed a dinner on the top deck of the yacht while we cruised around Lake Hickory at sunset. The views were fantastic and continually changing. (The continually changing view of the lake cant be overstated - so different from sitting in a booth at a restaurant where the view never changes.) The cruise also included a live musician who played guitar throughout the entire cruise. We LOVED our experience and will definitely be back for future anniversaries!

Staff was very friendly, food was really good, and they had some nice and relaxing music. Overall, it was a nice experience.

We took this steak and seafood dinner cruise as our introduction to Lake Hickory. We are building a house in the area and have a pontoon boat. It seemed like a good way to tour the lake before actually putting our boat in the water here. We enjoyed a delicious dinner, served by an attentive wait staff. Captain Bob was entertaining and informative. David played guitar and sang on the upper deck. Boat owner, Chad spoke with each guest and thanked us for sharing the evening with Lake Hickory Adventures. Weather was perfect, sunset was gorgeous and the sky was filled with stars.

My husband suprised me for Valentines Day. We had such an amazing time. Chad and his staff were so nice and friendly. They had Market on Main to cater. The food was delicious. Such a great experience. We will be back for another date night cruise soon.

My daughters birthday was today and we had a splendid time

Chad and his crew were absolutley amazing!! We rented the private charter cruise for our rehearsal dinner and all the guests LOVED it. Chad & his crew were friendly, fun, professional, and added to the enjoyment of our evening. They even let me drive the boat! The food and drinks were served professionally and on time and everything went better than I could have imagined. Chad said I was in charge ;) And we even decided to stay out on the lake an extra half hour (free of charge!) because everyone was having such a great time. It was clean, beautiful and unique. If youre debating booking Lake Hickory Adventures, STOP debating and BOOK NOW! You wont regret it. I cant wait to book with them again!!

What a wonderful lake cruise. Been on so many but none can compare to this one. Was on a New Years cruise with them a couple of years ago so we came back. First the best captain I have ever meet. Makes you feel like family and speaking of family his wife and son also hosted us. Additional staff that I promise your service will be incredible. Fabulous food hot and fresh and again the service is perfect. A great band playing on the stern that are second to none. Fireworks unlike none that I have ever seen completely under a hour and a half canopy of huge fireworks also furnished by homeowners.Such a beautiful shore line with a large collection of multi million dollar homes and most of them I am sure have pyro techs on their piers competing with each other. One hour from Charlotte this family does it right five STAR adventure did I mention the service. Lol. I fear we will have to start booking way out as more hear about this. Thank you everyone for the perfect Independence Day adventure.

We had our wedding reception on the yacht and Chad and his crew went above and beyond. Chad helped handle the catering the transportation and the dj. We couldnt have planned a better time.
