This park is beautiful, with amazing views of the river and city. I love that they have exercise stations now. I often start my day exercising along the river. There is also a nice little playground for younger children also.

Cozy and pretty with nice views, restaurant access, and parking. Only downside is all of the homeless camping out at the fish cleaning station

Peacefully nested downtown grand rapids, a beautiful river front escape from the hustle of the city. Minutes away from downtown.

Decent park for walking along the river. A couple of work out stations along the path. Lots of picnicking groups. Might be nice for some additional kids play equipment.

The open areas and the landscaping is very nice, but there was a half-dressed woman making out with a man underneath one of the trees while I ate near the river.

I like it there a lot, fishing is nice. Id give five stars if it wasnt for the plethora of peoples discarded fishing line everywhere. I normally Id pick discarded line but I cant take care of all that. :(

Its pretty clean for the most part but somedays people show up and get rowdy, but its not necessarily the parks fault

This is always a great space to visit. The river is powerful, lawn is great, and its a great walk along the river!! Also, fun lookout spots to stop and see the river too!!

Why 2 stars, let me tell you this place is really nice, great view, open areas, and many seating areas but is full of hobos, trash, spider webs and people smoking. Hopefully the city would do something to save this park.

This is truly a place to see if you appreciate art . Its like one big book for the family . Each one is like a maze but instead of having a pen you do it your self . Kids love it and I enjoy watching them . Also when walking over the bridge the river is memorizing.

The park here is gorgeous - very clean and well kept. It is great for running or walking, or having a bite to eat alongside the river. The sixth street bridge is iconic and provides a lot of character to the whole area. You can fish here as well! The location is ideal, with plenty of options for food/drink/alcohol within walking distance. Take your date down here, order carry out from somewhere nearby, and walk down to the park to eat. Go for a walk along the river afterwards and you guys will be married in no time.

Kinda creepy at night but it was cool that they had two adult sized ellipticals disguised as playground equipment. Im not a fan of parking meters at city parks, forcing you to pay to use a place that your taxes pay for you to have access to.

Went here for Movies of Monroe. They had Beetlejuice and Bohemian Rhapsody playing. Movie didnt play until 7:30. It was very hot to wait for 1.5 hours for movie to start. Luckily there were some events to keep us entertained and busy until the movie. Good food truck selection. They had a Beetlejuice actor running around. He was highly entertaining and funny to watch.

This place is a definite must see! You can fish the river, and they have a fish cleaning station as well as bathrooms. Ive been visiting this place for, well, every since I was a kid and Ive been bringing my kids for twenty years and counting. In all my visits only had one that was not great. There was a young couple smoking pot there while I was pinicing with my kids. I dont want my kids smelling that stuff, but they left quickly after I moved the kids to the ladder.Big must of you want to drive the fish wild! Bring some fish friendly snacks toss them in at the ladder and just watch em go nuts! Ive seen them eat bread, cheese puffs/balls, chips, but pet stores do have fish pellets that float.

They have cleaned the place up a bit since ive been living on the west side. Like how their doing movies in the park there now. Well, on the one end. Just noticed they started making people pay to park in that lot by 6th street bridge. Not really sure what thats all about other than the city being greedy.
