Despite the bad reviews I decided to bring my kids here. My son really wanted to fish. My younger kids however ages one and three wanted to play on the playground. There in fact was goose poop everywhere but not only that. The playground equipment was super old and rusty. I felt like I needed to shower immediately after being there for 30 mins. I love trying out new parks of all kinds, but this one I will not be returning to.

We were looking for a new park and werent disappointed with the playground and pond. The playground is in a large sandpit, so be aware you will likely leave covered in sand. The playground is older but fun and there are swings, always a hit.The kids and I also enjoyed watching some ducks and a goose enjoying the pond. One great thing of note, while there a man came through to take away trash and reline the trash cans. Its always pleasant to know a park is being well cared for.

Limited playground equipment and a picnic shelter. Lots of duck and geese poop in the area due to Ambrose Pond and the wildlife.

This is one of my favorite parks to walk to from my house. Its on the smaller side with a path that doesnt quite go all the way around the pond. My dog likes to run around and chase the ducks. My only thing is that I wish the walking trail went all the way around the park! And there isnt a ton of parking, jusliyl I usually wa all there

Its a very calm place with a nice park a great place to go to read have a picnic or just relax and stare at the beautiful place!

I wanted to like it. Goose poop on every square foot. Even in the sand playground. The seven foot chain link fence makes it look like a prison yard. The pond is covered in algae.

Does not look like some of the pics I have seen on maps. This would be a nice park with time and funding to clean it up. Old playground equipment, sand is not clean, deck needs repair and so on.

The park is in desperate need of some love. Old playground equipment. The sand is a litter box. It needs a safer deck to walk kids next to the pond. Some benches near the water would be nice. With all the taxes plainfield takes you would think it would be better spent.

Small area for the kids to play. Small picnic area for the family. Nice 50 yards long wooden boardwalk a crossed a pretty little pond. Small field for playing with the family. All in all nice little park. Dont come when its wet.

This is barely a park... for humans. Its full of geese and the water is dirty, but there are some lil chunks in there

I look for parks with nice views to help me eat my lunch and get ready for my afternoon.... Its a pond with a chain link fence around and a few pieces of playground equipment... Pretty shabby all in all.

Alot of bird poo you do not want to go barefoot! The pond is quite dirty and has alot of algae garbage in it. The playground is ok

No bathrooms and no shade by the playground, and it was pretty dirty! Lots of trash on the ground and in the pond.
