Captain Steve is a hoot. Took the water shuttle since the cruises dont start until next week. An especially nice outing for a hot day as the air is cooler in Gloucester out on the harbor. Hop on. Hop off. Only $10. Family friendly.

Nice way to spend an afternoon on Cape Ann. The Captain and mate were very knowledgeable and friendly. My only criticism is that if the boat is crowded, the people seated on the starboard side do not have a good view of the shoreline, which is the vast majority of the interesting sites. Thatcher Island is there only point of interest on the right until the last bit of the tour. We had a great time!

Great lighthouse tour of Cape Anne which was stunningly beautiful and historically informative. My kids loved it, cruising along the shoreline and learning more about this exceptional place.

We did the lobstering tour with a group of 55 using two boats. Captain Steve and his team were great! Called us the night before to welcome us to town. Were friendly, knowledgeable and we all enjoyed the tour. Thank you for your hospitality!

Their focus on safety was seen right away when the water was too rough they still went out but changed the route so we could still go. Saw 3 out of 6 lighthouses but many other wonderful things. Very knowledgeable.Courteous, they called to warn about the change and asked if still interested, how kind, what a lovely time.

We had a beautiful day and went at high tide. It was a very nice tour around Cape Ann and back via the river. We saw lots of the Cape that we would have missed from the shore and had many opportunities to take pictures that could be be taken from dry land. The tour was nicely narrated by the 1st mate. (Its not mentioned until you are at the end of the tour that the 1st mate works mostly for tips so you should plan to have some cash with you. On our trip he did a very nice job and deserved it!).

We did this tour about 5 years ago and are looking forward to doing it again. At the time our oldest was 9 and our youngest of 4 was 5. ALL of us enjoyed this trip. It was fun, interactive, informative and a beautiful tour. We are looking forward to doing it again this week and our kids have seen the pictures from the first trip and they too are looking forward to it! We recommend this for families!
