Amazing and everything I hoped it would be! Staff was knowledgeable and so kind. My daughters starting feeling a little sick so they gave them a little toy souvenir, some ginger ale, and checked on them frequently. We got to see 2 whales and a ton of dolphins. Such an amazing experience. Thank you!

The BEST whale watching EVER - we watched whales for at least an hour straight, there were so many you couldnt turn fast enough to see them all! One went right under the front of the boat!! They are so close you can see details on their faces, it is amazing!! The staff is amazing, they explain the moves the whales are making, they tell us all the interesting info about whales, they know their names, the staff come around individually to see if we have any questions, they are just very knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly!! The boat is very comfortable & clean, and this company does all they can for the safety of their customers! When we got back to land, we went into the little gift shop they have & when we came out every staff person on that boat was washing/ sanitizing the entire thing, it was very reassuring to see that! If you go to the MA coast, you have to go on this whale watch, it was the best thing we did here!!

My partner surprised me with tickets for whale watching this summer, something Ive ALWAYS wanted to do. The experience was remarkable. I wasnt entirely sure what to expect, but part of me knew that were dealing with nature, which can obviously be very unpredictable. We saw at least 20 whales, both adults and juveniles alike. It was quite emotional, such a huge and magnificent animal, in its natural habitat, just being. Very curious about us, but naturally also cautious. They didnt hesitate to put on a show! The younger ones always bobbing their heads out of the water to peek at us and the boat and the adults diving down and coming back up. Absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly and highly knowledgeable about the area and the whales, as theyve come to know them individually. They were very respectful of the whales. The ship was operating at reduced capacity due to COVID-19 and everyone was required to wear a mask at all times. There was enough space for everyone to sit with reasonable space between parties. The ship had a snack stand and a bar (added cost) and a restroom. Definitely an experience I would recommend!

It was a grey and rainy day, however... we had an awesome 3 hour trip ( last one of the season!!!)with up close and personal looks at humpbacks and some quick looks at the notoriously boat shy porpoises.Super cool crew, great naturalist, great captain. This boat is one the nicest passenger/tour boats I have been on and is kept in very clean shape and seems to be very well maintained.Im looking forward to returning next year FOR SURE!!

Wow! We had an awesome time this morning. The crew was caring and ensured that all were safe. This was our first time whale watching. We were not disappointed. We saw 6 different moms with the calfs swimming, diving and tail waving. We also do a lot, I mean a lot of whales doing a full body breach. Wow! The naturalist (Amanda) told us today was special with all surface activity. Would go back again!

7 Seas Whale Watch is amazing! Me and my girlfriend had an amazing experience where we saw at least a dozen whales, according to the captain. The woman guide was extremely knowledgeable about the whales and told us about everything from migration patterns to how they name the whales. The captain was just phenomenal! He did an awesome job about getting us up close to the whales and giving us a good view. We actually passed another whale watch ship and their captain was not nearly as good as ours! We got to see so much whale action because our captain was so good. The staff was very welcoming and made sure to check in on passengers to make sure they were feeling well. Thank you 7 Seas! Well be back next year :)

This is the best whale watch company by far. Even when it isnt covid they dont fill the boat. There is always a naturalist on board. I go with them multiple times a year. They work to get the whales on one side of the boat so everyone can see them and not get too close and endanger the whales. Its usually a marvelous show. If it isnt, you get a raincheck. Because it is nature! If the water is way too rough they cancel. If it is rough but not dangerous and they think some people might get seasick they warn and offer to reschedule them. I wish more people would take them up on that because seeing people throw up isnt fun! The crew handles it wonderfully and I want to give them credit for that. Ive only seen it happen twice but the last time was yesterday. It isnt their fault I just dont have another platform to say listen to 7 Seas when they tell you it might be rough!

On our trip we got to see seven humpback whales including a mother with a calf. We were lucky to see multiple sightings some from a very close range. In fact, at some point mom & her calf were so close to the boat that we got sprayed with the mist from her blow hole. We also saw a full breach which was simply awesome. All that without any equipment locating the whales. Our guide was super informative and passionate about whales just like all of us on the boat. The captain was highly skilled at positioning the boat to give us the best views. Overall, the experience was awesome and unforgettable

This was hands down the best tour! Yes, it was my first whale watch but I’ve done others like dolphin and other ocean tours. Unfortunately I was busy chasing around my two year old so I don’t remember the woman’s name who was the tour guide. She did a phenomenal job giving us history about the bay and the animals we saw on our trip. She had extensive knowledge about the dolphins and humpbacks and was the best tour guide I’ve had as well. All the staff were great. I saw a few guys helping out some people who got sick and kept checking on them for the duration of the tour.If I remember correctly we saw about 16 humpbacks and 40 common dolphins. It was something I will never forget! The dolphins were jumping in and out of the water, playing in the waves created by the boat. The humpbacks were amazing to see and so beautiful. It was truly magical! Please do a tour here it is well worth it.

Went on the morning trip on 8/10 (Monday)...We had such a great time - top deck had about 24 people total & everyone was great about masking. Captain was so good to get up close to the whales and not rush off....We saw 3 Humpback momma/calf pairs and other whales right near our boat. We had a calf breach very unexpectedly as we were waiting for them to resurface...it was awesome! Plus, we saw a number of tail flips and, on the way back in, a passenger spotted another whale. The captain drove the boat right over to him and we were treated to a huge tail splash! I realize we were very lucky because you cant predict their behavior but the Captain and crew were wonderful - very knowledgeable and anxious for us to have a great experience - and it certainly was! I hope to go again next week!

Spending time in the company of whales is humbling. Just got back from a few hours on the water with 7 Seas. It was a fantastic day made better by the courtesy and professionalism of the crew. We saw at least a dozen humpback whales, including some young uns, that were diving, feeding and resurfacing. Its quite an experience and drives home the necessity of protecting our oceans and their residents. And PLEASE tip the crew! Of about 60 on board during our trip, we were the only couple who gave a little extra. These businesses are operating at half their normal passenger capacity, yet still providing top notch service. If you can afford the tickets, you can afford an extra 10 or 20 dollars for the crew.

The price was right for this once in a lifetime experience! They book their boat to only 1/2 of its capacity to make their passengers more comfortable. Also, when they spot whales and other sea animals, its much easier to move from one side of the boat to the other for unprecedented viewing. I cannot confirm whether or not it is true that the whale watching boats in Boston (1 hour by car) book theirs to capacity and cram their passengers in like sardines. See what I did there? LOL I did hear from several sources that the boats in Boston do that. In addition, the crew at 7 Seas was very knowledgeable about the whales we saw, knew exactly where to find them and were super friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this family friendly activity without reservations. I do recommend you make reservations several days in advance because they fill up fast. I would totally do this again!

I know the lady narrating was supposed to be informative and helpful, but by the 2nd hour I really just wanted to throw her overboard! Very anticlimactic. We also saw dolphins. The whales were close. Keep in mind, seas can be rough sometimes but youre always in sight of shore. Its 45 min from dock to whales and you can still see land when at the refuge. If seasick take Dramamine or if its bad, reconsider. Ship has food, bathrooms and heated cabins.
