This park is beautiful and well maintained. We drove here because my husband is a Navy vet and a history buff, so we were disappointed that the museum was closed even though Google said it was open. Park is open-you can fish. But you cannot enter the museum. We still got some.good pictures!

Nice place to go picnic. The boat and submarine were closed because of COVID-19, but the park was open. There was restrooms with a/c in them as well as regular porta-potties. There is a pier and they allow fishing if you purchase a fishing band. Regular access to park and play on the playground or have a picnic was only $6 per vehicle.

Seawolf Park is great to go fishing, family gatherings and they also have a tour of a battleship and submarine onsite. I know it cost $6 per vehicle just to get in the park but other charges may apply for other activities. They tore down an old building just recently which surprised me . I am not too sure what their plans are for that spot but I would come again to try the fishing on the pier.

I had not been to Seawolf Park since I was a little girl. We did not know you could go fishing here but we will be back to take advantage of it real soon. The price to get in is a little high but I am sure that goes to the upkeep and maintenance. We met a nice fellow while there who says he has a fishing program on the radio in Houston. How cool is that? We could not tour the submarine because of COVID-19 but we will be back!

Pay too much to get in. You spend that money to get in the place then we lost that and more getting hooks hung up on rock. The park need to work on clearing out the rocks and debris on deep side,it would make a much enjoyable and nicer place to accurately catch some fish. All you see is stopper in water along the deep side where people lost their leads.

I have been going to seawolf park for many many years now. I know most of the locals and regulars that fish this park. I grew quite fond of the pre COVID staff that they had at the park and the way things were before. Post COVID staff are apparently very close with the managers and or hired as friends of managers. They are very very very rude and enforce rules with disrespect for those fishing and their property. In particular the young Hispanic gal that is new. This is therefor pushing most fishermen over to the piers on the Seawall and to Texas city dyke. So now with the new staff seawolf park is losing profits.

A few dollars to park the car and enjoy walking the decks of two huge naval craft - a submarine and a destroyer. Youll be able to get close enough to inspect the 50 caliber guns on the destroyer. I think normally people can go below decks, but they were closed for maintenance when I went. The price was reduced fairly as a result. After the ships, there is a nice park for grilling, fishing, and climbing the kiddos.

This is a great place to visit, especially if you have any interest in fishing, naval history, or WW2. There is plenty of room to park, lots of spots to fish, and two great US Navy vessels to tour: the USS Cavalla and USS Stewart. You cant tour every part of either vessel, but there is plenty of areas you can access, and most of them have really good interpretive signs that explain how the spaces were used by their crews. Really interesting. I do wish I had been able to check out the 40mm AA guns, but there are currently being restored. Nice volunteers will expand your knowledge of the vessels and regail you with stories from their past, if you choose to tap into that resource. We elected to just wander on a self-guided basis. Had a really good time on both ships, though the sub being air conditioned was nice! Its $6 to park/fish, and $10/person to tour the ships, unless you qual for a discount. Im a vet, so it was $5 for me to get in. Great experience and highly educational!

My family had a great time at Sea Wolf park today despite the rainy weather. Touring the ship and submarine took about an hour and keep our 4 boys (ages 6-12) entertained the whole time. The submarine is amazing, just walking through it while on land was weird I can not imagine what it would be like under water! You would have to be a tiny fellow to be comfortable on it.
