Is it really safe for a dog park to be that close to an active train station and train tracks?!Let alone the noise people and the dogs must bare to hear a loud train go by. And the fact that the dogs have the possibility of going lose and getting hit by a train is terrifying.Ask the dogs for their rating, not mine. They must love it, but I dont.

Clean, lots of room, self patrolled no mean dogs. Birds & squirrels ok, but no cats.

This is a great dog park. Large trees provide shade and squirrels. Plenty of benches too. While visiting please note the plaques displaying the donors who made the park possible. Small and large dog areas have water and dooty stations. Please pick up after your dog and enjoy this unique Gainesville attraction.

Nice, clean, and lots of room for doggies to run around. There are 2 sections. One for large dogs and one for smaller dogs. It is right next to the train depot so if your dogs are frightened easily by train horns, this may not be the right place for them. There are benches to sit on, a doggie water fountain, and trees and fire hydrants for your dog to use.

Its a very great place to take your dogs and its a very clean Dog Park.Everyone,should take there dogs there they have one side for little dogs and the other side for big dogs and they have sacks for you to pick up after your dog or dogs,and I take my puppy there

Was honestly surprised at how nice and well kept the park was! Friendly people there as well! If your dog isnt scared of trains then this is a perfect place if youre in the area!

Nice and clean. Only downside is the train track is right next to it.

Needs a more permanent water bowl fixture for the dogs. Fire hydrants and free poop-bags are a nice touch, though.

My kids and dogs love this new dog park in Gainesville. It is a great place for your dogs to stretch their legs, get a whiff of some new smells, and meet other dogs in a neutral territory.

The small dog park is way too small, but overall a nice place, just glad we have a dog park.
