We loved celebrating our wedding anniversary during this pandemic in a clean/safe space as we worked on communication skills! We found the jewel of Zanzibar with 3 seconds left to spare! Loved having a ‘life line’ via two-way radio too! We can’t wait to go back for the Christmas room! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We were looking for something different to do and CD2E was definitely it! We had two children who really enjoyed it also. With the help of the friendly staff (when needed) , we completed our escape and found the jewel!

I went to the Christmas themed escape room. It was phenomenal. The room itself was tiny but the clues were very difficult to find in a small room like that. For my first ever escape room it was great. Our game host Jaz/Jazz, was a nice guy and thought he was pretty cool overall.

This is a joke, right? My kids and I did the Lost Jewel of Zanzibar room and we were far from impressed. Overall this isnt something I would consider a fun experience. It wasnt very creative and I would imagine this is some sort of buy off the internet kind of deal for the owners to make a quick buck. I have lived in Frisco for years and there are definitely other places to spend the money at to have a good time with the kids.

Played here the other night with a friend of mine who came from out of town and had never played an escape room before! We did the Ravenswood room and had SO MUCH FUN! Not only am I an enthusiast, but I work for a different escape room; and I was so impressed with every aspect of my visit. From the beautiful and comfortable decor, the immersive detail of the room, even our kind game master (thanks Jaz!). Every part of this experience was well worth it and I cant wait to return soon!

We took our son for his 9th birthday this past weekend and had such a great time! We are a family of 4 and it was so interesting to see how our personalities and strengths fit into the game! This was our second time to experience Countdown 2 Escape and again, it did not disappoint! We went for my husband’s birthday and had a great experience doing something FUN! Perfect for a small group! I would love to try this as a girl’s night too! :)

We booked Tension for my sons 15th birthday party. He and his friends did few escape rooms before and according to them this was one of the best. Great experience from start to finish and great communication from the owner (Shannon). Definitely recommend!

My family had so much fun here! It was a good way to get active but not suffer in the Texas heat! It was challenging, but not too hard (we had 3 people in their late 20s and my mom who was older if that helps put things into perspective). The people who worked there were so nice and the facility was clean and cute!!

Enjoyed Blackbeard’s room. Got through with 23 min remaining but had an issue with the final puzzle not working and it taking some time off the clock. We knew how it worked but couldn’t get it work properly.It was nice to get out during the quarantine and have some fun with our family.

Best escape room experience I have had. Shannon and Fred are incredible. We did the lost jewel of Zanzibar the room was really well done, extremely clean, and just the right amount of challenge. I am a regular over at summer moon and I thought I would go over here to check it out and see what this is all about. I was immediately greeted by an old woman named Sharron (I think). I asked about the business and what an escape room is but I got more than I asked for. In the very short time frame I was there, I felt like I was being pressured into doing a room. I was very uncomfortable. I didnt stay long but I was very set back by this place. I know I see some other positive reviews but I honestly just cant see it. Honestly, Sharron seemed really fake and I will definitely not being going back, especially with my kids. I enjoy Frisco and the rail district, but this place doesnt seem to fit in. I can not recommend.

For my birthday this year we did the Jewel of Zanzibar and it was so much fun! The team was great at providing clues if we needed them and it was definitely a challenge! We solved with 17 seconds left on the clock!! I will definitely be going back! I also loved that you could bring in your own drinks!

Yall, save your time and go somewhere else. Sent my team here for a corporate team building event and it left much to be desired. Everything from the planning process was difficult, parking was a nightmare, and my employees came back saying it was their least favorite escape room weve been to yet. I cant recommend to anyone else.

This was a much needed outing for our 13 year olds birthday. It was just our family and we took two friends. Everything was so clean and well run. The helper helped just enough for the kids to be successful, but feel challenged. It was a blast! We will definitely be back.

To have to be trapped on your birthday through this covid stuff has been hard to understand to kids, and you guys made them all laugh and smile and we are grateful for that!

We had a great experience with our escape room adventure! The room was very challenging and the staff was very engaging and encouraging. We have been to this escape room 3 times now and plan on going back to do the other rooms soon!

We came to countdown 2 escape for part of our office company party. We are a very competitive office and love fun, new, exciting things. This seemed to be exactly what were looking for. It did not disappoint. We tried the new location with the holiday themed room. The room itself was pretty impressive, it looked like someone’s actual living room. There was only person in our group who had ever done an escape room so we we depending on him to be our leader lol. We were given the option to have unlimited clues or we could choose to limit ourselves and make the game more challenging. We obviously chose to limit the amount to make the game more exciting. If there was ever a time that we ever truly got stuck or felt that something was not working correctly the “game master” would come in and assist us so that we would be able to get back on track. I went in thinking is was going to be a pretty boring experience, but we left there laughing and smiling about what a great time we all had! The staff there was so friendly and helpful. I will have to find a time to bring back more friends to try another escape there. Go there and you will not be disappointed .

Very clean. The all employees wore masked and there was plenty of hand sanitizer around, even in the rooms. Our group had so much fun! We did the raven wood one. It was a good challenge for sure and even though we didnt escape we had an awesome time!

We went to the Countdown 2 Escape as FIRST-timers to the Escape Room world! Had a blast, and it was certainly challenging. Upon check in, we were greeted by Lucas- who did a great job of setting expectations, and coaching us when needed. We were only a family of 4, but we managed to solve most of the clues on our own. Blackbeards Brig was our game, and required many layers of skills to navigate. Would definitely recommend!

My (almost 13) year told daughter wanted to do an escape room for her birthday. We invited a friend and the two moms helped. The lost jewel of Zanzabar was so fun! It was definitely challenging but also doable! The girls had a blast! The fun little touches (like smarties candy since we won) and the board games to play in the lobby while waiting since we arrived about 20 minutes before our scheduled escape room made it a blast! We will definitely be back!

We came the whole family - from 8 to teenagers to adults and did the Jewel hunt in Zanzibar. We are somewhat sensitive with COVID-19 concerns, but they greeted us with masks, hand sanitizer everywhere and we noticed a cleaner came into the room right after us once we were done.The set up is very inviting, nice and friendly, Renee in the reception took well care of us, explained the game well and supported us during the game.In the end we made it before the time run out and the kids were really proud! And maybe even more important, we had great fun along the way! Can warmly recommend, and we will be back soon for the next room :)

We were a family of 8 and it took us about 10 minutes to book the Zanzibar room online. Kiley at your front desk was amazing! very friendly, kind and patient, she walked us through the entire process. The room itself was very clean and well maintained. Plus her clues and tips were helpful. We made it with 7 minutes to spare. the overall ambience of your store is amazing! Keep the fairy lights! they look lovely and add to the charm of your business! So kind and helpful. The free coffee, water and candy is a sweet touch. we will definitely be back!

I recently saw the promotion they had for memorial day. It sincerely hurts to see when people do this, but this business had no account for what we hold observance of memorial day for. Countdown 2 Escape sent out an email not to hold in our memory the ones that served and gave it all, but to celebrate the ones that survived by providing free games to military. I cant get behind a business that runs promotions like this.

My kids had a great time! They were laughing so hard telling me about how much fun they head. Great Spring Break activity!! The lobby is full of fun games too! We will definitely be back!

A group went for my birthday and we had a great time! The Who Stole Christmas room was challenging! It truly took the team to figure it all out. The folks were friendly and answered all our questions and gave helpful clues. One suggestion: make sure Everything (checklist) has been reset to start fresh.:)

Fun experience for our whole family. We did it last year so we knew what to expect this year which made it easier to crack the codes. The Who Stole Christmas theme was perfect for the holiday. The new location was very clean and the room was decorated beautifully.

Fun from start to finish.Walk in and you are greeted by the friendly staff. You can sit in the lounge area and have a drink (byob), play a few board games, and talk.Then you get in the room and its on from there. The puzzles are fun and complex. Teamwork makes the game even more fun, so bring some good friends you work well with.Once you are done, there is another room where you can talk with your group and hangout.At no point did we feel rushed (besides the countdown clock in our room), even when we were done.Very fun, cant wait to try another room.

Literally I cant even right now with this business. It was so difficult to try and even book with this place! I couldnt get anyone on the phone, I would stop by and no one was ever there, and the website didnt work to book a room. Im done trying, not even worth it!!!!!

Been trying to call and reach out multiple times to schedule with no luck. Ended up booking with Red Door down the street for my daughters birthday. I wouldnt go to a place with this level of neglect in customer service.

I took my team there for a team building/year end celebration. We all had an amazing time. The staff was wonderful and the room was challenging. Our family of 4 recently had a great experience in the Who Stole Christmas - Green Room at the Holiday Fresh Market. The staff was friendly, the waiting area was festive and inviting, and the challenge was fun. This was our first experience at an Escape Room and we were very impressed!

Weve now been twice this year and have had a great time during both escapes! I feel like Zanzibar could be labeled as easier than the Ravenwoods room. Were looking forward to future escapes!

We hosted a company event at the holiday escape rooms near Toyota Stadium and were impressed with our overall experience. Our group exceeded the capacity of the rooms available. Countdown 2 Escape offered the perfect solution to block out a set of times that allowed our group to use the same room in back-to-back experiences. This allowed us to fit our experience within the time frame we needed while creating a challenge within our group for who could solve the same room setup quicker. They were also willing to allow us to bring our kids in, under full supervision, allowing us to keep our events family friendly. The kids not only enjoyed being part of our experience, they were able to discover clues the adults had overlooked multiple times. We highly recommend this experience to anyone!!

I booked a room for my son’s 10th birthday and hired the Game Master for the group of 4. The boys had fun. They went over 5 min but they managed to escape and have a blast. We also reserved the back lounge space for cake and pizza. It had a fridge and lots of space for a small group like us. Love all the decoration and games in the waiting space too.

My sister and I did the Ravenwood room and WOW it was THE BEST ESCAPE ROOM we have ever done and we do a lot of them!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Countdown 2 Escape and especially this room! We loved it and can’t wait to come back to do another!!

Great rooms, great puzzles. Really enjoyed both the Raven room and Blackbeards room, except for one (optional?) puzzle towards the end of Blackbeards room that didnt give enough info to solve it without requiring guesses.

This is the forth time I have been to C2E. It is an awesome place! We really enjoy going. We have gone for date nights and brought my niece and nephew. It is always a good time!

We had a fun experience the first time. We went there for team building at work and it was worth it. The second time we went we were paired with another group, against our will. Im assuming they were trying to save money. The second time was a horrible experience. All 10 of us were in a cramped small room and both groups complaining that the other was there. Not fun at all and I seriously regretted going in the first place. Word of advice, do not force groups together just to save money.

14 year olds loved it and that’s saying something! Great job!

I am an escape room junkie. I have done close to 30 and consider myself pretty familiar with the escape room world. The first time we tried out this place we did zanzibar. I enjoyed the room but I found the puzzles to be a bit simple minded. Still enjoyable, but simple. The room itself was pretty barren but escape rooms are hit and miss with props and set up.HOWEVER, the last time we went we did the blackbeard room and I gotta say I actually really strongly disliked the room. The puzzles were all very one line of thinking, the sound in our room was broken so our game master couldnt hear us and had to just try and guess what we were needing from the camera.Updated:After our experience with Blackbeard, management reached out and said they had fixed everything in the room and we went back and did Raven woods. I actually really really enjoyed this room. The atmosphere was fantastic the puzzles were great with a lot of variety for different kind of thinking. It was was easily one of our favorite rooms. We even set the record for the room! (29 and something minutes left) Mostly Im very impressed with the owners who reached out directly and wanted to fix things and make sure we had a good time. When we got there the GM that ran out last game was there and told us they had fixed all the issues we experienced before. We had zero tech issues or puzzle issues in our experience in Raven woods. We will be back if they ever get new rooms

So much fun!! Went last minute with the hubby for my birthday. They greeted me with Happy Birthday and even had this sign! The room was fun and Connor had a great personality and gave awesome hints!

They had a wide variety of puzzles. I really enjoyed that. They also gave us enough space to solve problems and helpful clues when we asked for them. Reliably awesome.

We rented out this entire facility for a reunion, and it was an amazing venue for the kids in two gender assigned rooms and the adults in the third. Great way to have your own experience then come out later and compare strategies and experiences. The owners went above and beyond to help make this happen for us.

We loved the Ravenswood room. It was a blast! Plus, Miles made our experience even more fun and interesting. Great guy! Well definitely be back soon.

First time here and we did the forest room and it was so good! weve been to a few other escape rooms and this one is definitely my favorite. It wasnt too easy but not insanely difficult so everyone had a really good time. The room we picked out was nice and spooky! Harrison our game master was awesome!

Went here for a bachelor party on the 31st and did the raven creepy escape room. It was a lot of fun and the clues and puzzles were well done. Plus the gamemaster was really friendly and helpful.We almost beat the record time too! Too slow by a minute or so. Will definitely go back. (Though I wont be paying for everyone next time )

Absolutely loved my experience with Countdown 2 Escape in Frisco! It was an amazing environment that brings families and friends together in order to solve creative puzzles and fun rooms. My whole family enjoyed working together to beat the clock, and it created lasting memories the minute we walked in the door. Unlike other escape rooms, there are many areas that invite you to come in, stay awhile, and enjoy each others company!

The Edgar Allen Poe-themed room was AWESOME! We went as a reward for stellar performance by my employees and everyone had a great time!

I got to visit this place with my work colleagues as an after dinner event. I was super excited since I’ve never done a panic room before. We split up in two groups and we got the cabin. It was so much fun trying to figure out and find clues to unlock the next piece of the puzzle. I would definitely go again and try the other room. The staff was amazing to say the least and so hospitable and helpful with everything. Great experience and a wonderful team building exercise I would Recommend!

My family of 4 had a great experience at Countdown 2 Escape this week. It was just the right amount of curiosity without being too scary for our kids, yet entertaining and challenging enough for us adults to have to think hard too! The staff was AWESOME, too.

This escape room experience was really awesome! It was not one of the high budget stores but the overall stories and delivery were really great. They packed so much in to the story of What happened in the Raven Woods that it was easy to get misdirected. I have been thru several and this was probably the best one yet. We will definitely be there back!
