Lovely garden! It looked so lovely especially with the fall leaves. I might have to say it was one of the best gardens Ive been to and I highly recommend you to check it out if youve never been. As for the cafe inside the garden, the cafe is running with a smaller menu due to covid.

I have visited many Japanese Gardens and Botanical Gardens in California, Portland, and Arizona. So far from what I have seen this one has to be my favorite. Usually the Botanical Garden is separate from the Japanese Garden but you get the Botanical Garden, Japanese Garden, and Rainforest Conservatory all in 1 for the price of $12, that is a steal. You for sure need to plan a full day if you want to see everything I spent about 3 hours and that was not enough time.It is so peaceful, pretty, and just a whole different world from the city. I will for sure visit again when I am in Fortworth.

Very enjoyable experience here. Didnt expect rain, but didnt ruin the experience either. Definitely recommend getting the koi fish food (buy the big bag!). If theres a wedding you might miss out on a small section like we did. But dont worry! Theres plenty of paths to explore so plan accordingly to have enough time to take in the atmosphere.

I want to preface this by saying: I have been to Japan, so walking into this garden transported me back to Japan without flying over 18 hours to get there. Its natural aspects reminded me of the nature parts of the country, like you would find in Kyoto or in the countryside. I didnt have time to walk through all of it, but it was absolutely beautiful. Also, its not a 100% accurate replica or representation of the country, but it does give me that feeling.

Amazingly beautiful Japanese garden and a true highlight of any visit to Fort Worth if you are interested in Asian culture or even just want to visit a beautiful garden. On a hot day there is ample shade and the breeze coming off the ponds is refreshing. This is a really calming place and the sound of running water throughout just adds to the tranquility. Definitely a must visit.

I love the Japanese Gardens. Its so peaceful and designed nice. You can feed the Koi fish and there are little areas you can peel off to the side and rest or relax and enjoy and then hop back on the path around. The plant life also changes color as the seasons change and its really nice to see. Its not really big but I enjoy going several times a year. You can walk around the whole thing in about an hour if you stroll around.

This Japanese gardens covers 7 and a 1/2 acres. It is perfectly maintained. Very clean and well kept and not crowded on the day we went. The price is more than fair. We spent about 2 hours in this area alone and could not see everything. It is also handicapped and wheelchair accessible. I am handicapped and I really appreciated that. The employees and volunteers were professional polite and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place to locals with out of town guests!

The Background of my daughters wedding was Amazing. Gorgeous fall colors throughout the Garden. Beautiful water fall and a large pond with ducks. We really did not need to decorate too much because the entire Atmosphere was Absolutely jaw dropping. The only thing I did not like was they would not allow the flower girls to drop rose petals while walking down the aisle. Also the office that’s books the wedding needs to go over everything and make sure customers understand what they offer and what they do not offer. They told us we had no access to the kitchen but when we arrived we had access to the kitchen. This is extremely important to know when you are cooking the meal yourselves and not a caterer. Very frustrating. The same thing happened with the bridal room . They said it cost extra but we found out it was included. My daughter could have dressed there instead of at home. Again extremely frustrating. Besides the front office not doing their job, everything else was smooth and the grounds were Beautiful.....

This place is beautiful. Worth going if you are nearby. It really reminded me Japan so these guys did a good job. Has some trees and a huge lake with qoi fish that you can feed. A quarter is what it take inside the park to get some food from the vending machine. There are many places you can just sit relax and enjoy the nature. Theres also a zen garden over there so that place is really authentic.

This is part of the (usually $12) entrance fee, and they have performed tea ceremonies and a cultural exhibit which had cost more and was limited to a short time frame, which I missed out on now that I looked back. Included is a koi pond, a zen stone (sand) garden, and various pond and waterfall themes, in addition to the Japanese gardening methods. Dont go here thinking its a quick walk just to focus on this area, and instead think of it as the finale to the Ft Worth Botanic Garden, where you will probably need to get a soft drink at the gift shop before heading back to the parking lot before passing out (Its a bit more involved and confusing if you hadnt been here before, and I would plan on about 2-3 hours at the least, especially if you are photographing the place, which I suggest is a good hobby when visiting somewhere like this.)

This Japanese park always have beautiful colors of the four seasons to enjoy and take photos, as well as the nishikigoi that always exists. Recently I found this to be a great place to sit, walk, and chat and think quietly.A wonderful environment for children and adults is a great place for self-reflection and renewal. Its done very well and is well maintained, it almost always makes you want you to stay longer.Although 90% of the Fort Worth Botanical Garden is open to the public free of charge, you will need to pay a small entrance fee ($7)to see the fall colors of the Japanese garden. Strolling through the gardens, winding pathswill take you through the tranquil landscapes and water features. The garden is made up of 7 people. Covering 5 acres of cherry trees, Japanese maples, magnolias, bamboos, bridges and ponds, there are more than 1,200 koi fish. The garden is an autumn festival where you can enjoy traditional Japanese dance, martial arts, sword show, raku pottery and traditional tea ceremony.
